Rain And Chinese Rice

Hey   Dear  Friends!

Hope   enjoying    each  bit  of  your  beautiful  life   by  the  grace  of  Lord!

It  rained  here    since  Thursday  with  short  breaks  to  till  yesterday   evening . Weather   became  more  gorgeous :) It  was  cloudy  since  almost  two   weeks  though  we  had  no  hope  that  they  will  shower  some   rain  either   because   it  doesn't  rain  in  these  part  of  month  usually .Glad  they   broke  their   rule :)

I  made  chinese  rice   to  add some  flavor  to  lovely  day :) my  younger  one  took  this  image  while  i  was  cooking as  there  was  no  electricity  so  he  was  snapping  frequently  clouds  and  everything  he  found  interesting

my  eldest  son  asked  for  the  image  of  rice  which  i  always  avoid  because   it  hurts  me   to  think   he  would   miss home  and   homemade  food  when  will  see  in  photos ,but  he  insisted so  we  sent  him  this  one

we  went  up  to  roof  and  enjoyed  the  poetically  absorbing  weather  , my  son  captured  all  the  views  around  he  could  see

grey   sky  looks  mysteriously  stunning ,i  can  look  at  this  soothing  depth  for  hours as  i  used to  do  back  in  my  village  home :)

i  took  this  one  from  the  window  of  upper  room ,garden  below  looked  soulful and  beautiful  :)

After  Rain   plants   looked   more  happy  and  fresh :) i wish  we  can  have  rain  often ! this one  is  taken  today  morning

Wishing  you  all  happy   ,healthy  peaceful  days  ahead  friends!

  18. in my hometown, the people there are always waiting for rain, because if it does not rain, then the rice they plant will not be fertile, and that will make them sad

  19. Hello, Baili! Thank you for your lovely comment filled with kind words right after my posting. Weather here at this time of year (mid-October to late November) is mostly sunny. With crisp air, it’s a good season to travel to Japan. But I don’t dislike rain. Plants get revitalized after the rain and I like the smell of the wet soil and green leaves. Cloudy sky is not simply grey, but pearly grey, isn’t it? The rice menu made my mouth water. Have a nice week.

  26. Your Chinese rice dish looks Yummy, Baili. You know, Chinese food is one of my favorites. This is a wonderful picture of you and husband that you sent your son. I think he will like that. I'm glad you got some rain. It helps out with the plants and so many things. It hasn't rained here yet, but it's been windy the last few days. : )

  27. I enjoyed this post so much, Baili, especially the photo of you and your hubby. The marble that you had laid around your garden a while back looks beautiful. When you see it from above you can appreciate the wonderful patterns in the stone. It's fun to see your neighborhood and the lovely sky. Your rice dish is making me hungry! All the best to you!
