It rained here since Thursday with short breaks to till yesterday evening . Weather became more gorgeous :) It was cloudy since almost two weeks though we had no hope that they will shower some rain either because it doesn't rain in these part of month usually .Glad they broke their rule :)
my eldest son asked for the image of rice which i always avoid because it hurts me to think he would miss home and homemade food when will see in photos ,but he insisted so we sent him this one
grey sky looks mysteriously stunning ,i can look at this soothing depth for hours as i used to do back in my village home :)

ReplyDeleteWe can make lots of different varieties and use lotos of ingredients.
That's what we always do in my house.
Have a great week
in my hometown, the people there are always waiting for rain, because if it does not rain, then the rice they plant will not be fertile, and that will make them sad
ReplyDeleteHello, Baili! Thank you for your lovely comment filled with kind words right after my posting. Weather here at this time of year (mid-October to late November) is mostly sunny. With crisp air, it’s a good season to travel to Japan. But I don’t dislike rain. Plants get revitalized after the rain and I like the smell of the wet soil and green leaves. Cloudy sky is not simply grey, but pearly grey, isn’t it? The rice menu made my mouth water. Have a nice week.

How wonderful to be able to go on the rooftop after a rainstorm with your husband and to see such a soothing view. Your plants look refreshed after the rains. And the photo of the rice dish made me hungry as well.
ReplyDeleteYour Chinese rice dish looks Yummy, Baili. You know, Chinese food is one of my favorites. This is a wonderful picture of you and husband that you sent your son. I think he will like that. I'm glad you got some rain. It helps out with the plants and so many things. It hasn't rained here yet, but it's been windy the last few days. : )

I enjoyed this post so much, Baili, especially the photo of you and your hubby. The marble that you had laid around your garden a while back looks beautiful. When you see it from above you can appreciate the wonderful patterns in the stone. It's fun to see your neighborhood and the lovely sky. Your rice dish is making me hungry! All the best to you!
