The Garden side effects ,pics and a Query!

               
              Hello  Precious  Friends!




   Hope   and  pray   that    all   of   you   are  having   safe   life   with  no   serious  painful   disease  and  hope   that   you   are   thanking   for  this   beautiful   healthy   life   to   your  Dear   God   through   each   breath   you   take  .

I   said   so   because   i   strongly   believe  that   whatever   God   gives   us   is   just  his  own   love   for   us    and  nothing   extra  ordinary we   do  to  deserve  it  otherwise.


Today  i  am  talking    with   you  about  my   small  garden  area  which  is 10  by 10  beside  the  entrance  wall   of  my   front   yard .

In  summers   we   sleep   in  our   yard  just  because   of  me  as  i  love   sleeping  in  natural   environment    rather   than   artificial   cooling.

 Garden  is   favorite   place   for   all   living   creatures   like  sparrows    ,parrots ,crows    and   some   other   kinds  of  small   and   big   birds   who's name   i   don't  even   know .   But   there   live   also   a   sort  of   an  invisible    REALLY   TINY     insects   who   once  in   a   while   bit   any   of  our   family   member   and    cause    trouble.

Last   day   my   younger    son  (14 years old)  was   bitten  by   some   insect   while   sleeping   in   the   yard   almost   5   meters   away   from   garden .  When   he   woke   up   in   morning   his   left   eye   has   swelling  and   looked   reddish.

He   looked   little   sick   and   lazy   .I   asked   him   to   take   leave   from   school  but   he   said   his   monthly   test   are   going   on   and   he   has   to  go .  But   When   he   returned   at   2  pm  noon   he   was   shivering   with   fever    and   swelling   spread   to   his   left    cheek   too.

He   complained  he  has   headache .  We   both   were   so   worried   and   hubby   gave   him   a   tablet   for   allergy   that   he  keeps   at   home   since   long   as   he   also   has   some   skin   allergy.
We   also   gave   him   a  tablet   for   fever  as  our   family   doctor   where   we  go   comes   to  his   clinic   on  6:30  pm   evening   so   we   thought   it   will   give    my   son   some   relief.
Thank   God   self   medicine   worked   and  fever  left  within   two   hours . Doctor   gave   him   some   medicines   which   made   him  feel   better   today . I   did   not   let   him   go  to   school   today   we   mother   and   son   had   lots   of    good   time  together .  I  dely  my   chores    and   sat   with   him .

We   talked   lot   about   each   other   lives   and   interests  future   plans  and etc. I   felt   this   time   PRECIOUS   as   i   know   such   sittings   occur    rarely  He   made  paintings  of   some  of   his  favorite  cartoon   characters.

                                    It  has  only  one   thick  flower that last  for  many  weeks


I   made   his   fav   food   biryaani  (chicken rice). He   does  not   like   sweets   and  it   annoys  me  i  love   sweet  though  can't  eat  as  much   i   want  now   but  glad   that  i   make  him   eat   some  fruits  everyday   as   he  is  so  lazy   in   eating  fruit .His  fav   is  spicy   stuff  specially   fried  which  is  unhealthy   if   use   it   constantly .

Oh  my   where  i  am   going  with   my   topic .  Actually  i   want   to   ask   you   that   almost   all  of  you   have   Gardens    so

WHAT   DO   YOU   DO  TOO  KEEP   AWAY  SUCH   HARMFUL   INSECTS???

     Hello     Sweet   Friends!



  Hope   and  pray   that  all  of  you  are  treating   yourself   with   respect   and  kindness  that   comes   with  contentment   that   you   have   for   what   you   are !!!    and   what  you   are    capable   to   as   a  person  in  " well   balanced"   life.


  Actually   i  want   to  explain  about   art  work   of  my   sister  that  i  have  posted   in  my  previous  post   as   one   of  my   friend   asked  me   that,

                            " does   my   sister   know   that   i   have   her   art  work"


   As   i  mentioned   in   my   previous   post   that   because   of  my  eldest   brother's  negative  attitude   i   brought   my   younger   sister   with   me   after   my   marriage   with   the    permission   of   my   mother  (which  was  a  tough  job)  . 

Here   she   styed  with  me  and  my   husband   for   almost  four  years  and  completed  her   high   school   education.


 During   stay   she   brought   her   lots   of   art   work  with  her  from  village   to   my   house  .Though   she   in  her   free   times   made   some   more    paintings   and   sculptures  but   her   art   that   belonged    to   our   school   life   in   native   village    was   more   special   to  me  .
   

When   she   left   after   education  for   village   she   forgot   to   collect   it   from   our   house   but   still   it   mattered   for  her.   But   when   after   two   years   she   visited   me   she   was   not   same   young   lady   with   artistic    attitude  .  She   was   more   practical    with  realistic   approach     towards    life  . 


  Now   she   was   on  semi   govt   job     living   in   capital   city    with   mom   seemed   to   re  explore   her   hidden   talents   and   skills .   According   to   her   she   was   about   to   change   her   "class" " in  which  i  don't  even believe  or  care  about" 


That   was   time   when   she   hated   her   simple   past   with   middle   class   background  .She  wanted   to  disowned   everything   which   reminded  her   that  there   were   times   when   she   had   less    in    life   . Past   seemed   to  her   nothing   but   an   embarrassment .

She   left   her   art   work  with   her  own   will   in  my   house  .   God   blessed   her  with  a   life   that   she   dreamt  for   and  i  am  so   Happy   for   her  but   somehow   i    lost   my  "old  sister"   and   it   hurts   a  lot !

I    am    proud   of   my   roots   from   where   i   took   start.   I   love    fact   that   my   father   was   a   watch   maker   I   consider   those   memories   treasure   when     we   were   "together"  .   we   both   sister   pushed   each  other   that  no    no   you   but   i   will   sit   closer   to   my   mom   and  i  will  press   her   shoulders   to   comfort   her. 

 I   am   proud   of   my   mother   who   beard   hard   times   just   to   make    us   educated  

I   never   ever   measure   the   joy   of   my  life   with   the  scale  of  material . Material   is  here  to  make  life   easier   not   miserable .  We   give  material   an  "importance  when   we   use  it .

Our   lives  don't   upgrade   with   material   because   it  is "we  who   are   important  not  "material"   It   is  for   us   , we  are  not   for  it    so   how   can   we    look   down   to   ourself    because   of   this   inappropriate    thing .

Moments   and   relationships  that   we   have  right  now  are   MOST   PRECIOUS!  ,MOST    BEAUTIFUL! ,  MOST    IMPORTANT!  

Money   can   make   you   surround   by   cheesy   people   but   can   not   bring   close   to    not   Real  loved   ones!

In   my   opinion   class   does   not   exist .    If  it  does ,  then   it   is  on   the  base   of CHARACTER     and   VIRTUES   which   are   far   ABOVE    than   material     as     former   can   be   earned   with   highest    morality   and   life   long   dignity    but   later   can   be   earned    even   at   the   cost   of  one's   self   respect.  


My   sister    knows   that   i   have   a  blog   but   she   never   told   me   that  she   read   it    sometime   .If   she   will   know   i   posted   her   art   work   she   will   be   happy   but   she   will   annoy   a   lot   if   know   that   i   told  you   that   i   did  not  born   with   spoon   of   gold  in  my  mouth   :)

My Younger Sister's Art

             Hello  Dear   Friends!


   Hope   and   pray   that   all   of   you   all    breathing   smoothly  ,  thinking  ,sublimely  and   acting   wisely   in   all   your   dealings   with   life   and   relationships.



    As   you   know   that   i   have   a  sister    six   year    younger    than   me.   we   have   so   many   beautiful   and   priceless   memories   of   our   life   together   back   in   my   native   village.

 In   my   whole   life   i   never   saw   child  as   pretty   and   intelligent .   We   walked   along   over   the   hills   towards   school   holding   hands   of   each   other .

Six month old ,  hyderabad city where we lived and my father had watch mending shop,WE  lived there  until  my elder brother died with t.b .After which my mother  fell ill for so long and doctors asked my father to change the place ,we moved to my maternal  village ,i was six  

Our   depth   of   relationship   was   amazing   and   credit   goes   to   my   most   loveable   mom   who   always   keep   repeating   that   "shabana   she   is  your   little   sister   ,you  have   to   take   good   care  of   her  when   i   am  not   around  ".

Many   times   i   made   her   sit   on  my   shoulders   like   doll   and   wandered   around   to   please   her . I   start   thinking   of   her   s   my   own   child  because   the  motherly   feeling   are   injected   in   my   blood   for   all   around   though   but   she   was   my   blood,my   little   sister.

Like   home   and   village   she   was   popular   in   school  as   a   most   CUTE   and   Intelligent   student  .

putting    little   scarf   around  her   neck   when    she  recited   in  school  assembly  in morning   and  read   poems   and   national   songs   in  functions   everybody    seemed   crazy   for   her  including   our   strict   teachers   who   picked   up   in   their   lap   and   kissed  her  and give  her   chocolates ,no other kid  has such  importance  as  she did.

I   felt   proud   she   was   my   little   sister  .  Unlike   me   she   was   vibrant   ,talkative   and   center   of   the   attention   where  she   went .   Many    times   i   fought   for  her  in   school    ( little kids fights) without  caring   that   i   will   get   punishment   for   this  .

Many   times   i   took   blame  upon   me   for   her   naughtiness    and  how   strange   that   my    mother   never   punished   me   as   she   knew   i   was   lying .

When  i   had  to  leave  my  govt   job  and  get   married   because  of   the  bad   environment  created   by   my   eldest   brother  and   his   wife   i   brought   my   younger   sister   with   me  and  admitted  her  in  high   school  for   education .

She   lived   here  with   me   for   almost   four   years   and   then   left   when   her   studies  were   completed.

          When she visited native village with her one month old baby girl  Dua!   2012  hopefully 


She   got   married   with   one   of   her  boss    during   her   job   and   moved   with   him   to   U.S.A  ,there   she   lived   for    six   years   in   washington  and  virginia .For   some   reasons   her  first   marriage   ended   with   no   child.

She   got   married   with   a   man   of   her   own  age   who   belonged   to  a   quite   rich   family .

She   is   living   happily   in  Islamabad   now   with   her   in   laws  . Her   three   children  are  american   citizen   as   they   born   there  coincidentally .

We  have   not   met   since  three   years  because   each   time   in  summer   vacation  we   go   to   Islamabad   she  goes   foreign   to   spend   summers .    We   call   each  other   sometimes    but   i  miss   her   and  kids  a  lot.

Today   i   am   sharing   quite   a bit   of  her   talents  as   she  is  really   talented  ,quick   and  brilliant   in   her   presence   and   doings.   She   does   online   jobs   just   to   feel   better   and   earns  a  lot .

She   is  fantastic   photographer   . She   is   stunning   painter   but   i   only   have  her   most   earlier   art   when   she   was  in   her  teens,  hope   you   like   it .

 Precious   Fellows , that's  all  for  now , it is 4pm  and i have to sit  with  my  youngest  son  to   support    him   in   his   homework   and   further   studies  for   coming   monthly exams.

The Savior of Humanity! Ruth Fow

           


       Hey  lovely  fellows ,

        hope   and  pray   that   all   of   you  are  enjoying  the   view   of   your   lives   by   looking   through   the 

 WINDOW   OF   GRATITUDE!    and  realizing   that   no   matter   how  bad   the   weather  is   and   no   matter   how   dull   the   mood   you   have   right   now   there   are  numerous   people   in   this   world   who   are    suffering   with    serious   and   bigger   problems   than   you  and   still   are   more   grateful   for   what   God   has   given   them  .

Last    night   we   heard   in   news    about   a   German   lady  doctor   Ruth   pfow   who   died  in  age   of  87   on  10th   of  August   in  Agha  Khan   Hospital   Karachi   while  dealing   with   many   health   issues.

Doctor's   put  her  on   ventilator  but  she   requested  to   remove   it  because   she   wanted   to  live   through    natural   resources. 

Doctor   Ruth   fow   was  a nun   and   dedicated   her  life   for   the   patients   who   suffered   with   leprosy .   She   born   in  1929   in  German  city  Leipzig . Her   house   was  ruined   during  second   world   war   and  she   moved  to  the  west   Germany  and  chose  medicine  as  career .

In  1957  she   joined  Catholic   order  as  she  was greatly   influenced  by  a  German  book"Lord" by  Romano  Guardini .

Order  sent   her  in  southern   India  later  .She   came   to   Pakistan   's   biggest   city   Karachi  in  1960 .  
She   travelled  in   distant   areas   of  country  .She   saw   people   who  were  abandoned  from  their   families  for   leprosy .She   decided  to   help   those   people .

In   age   of  31   1960   she   decided  to   stay   in   pakistan   and  serve   the   miserables  .In   1963   she    founded   a   Marie  Adelaide   Leprosy   Center   in   Karachi   where  patients  came   from  all   over   the   country  even   from  Afghanistan   .In   1979   she   was  appointed   Health  advisor  in  health   ministry   by   govt  of  Pakistan .  Through   her   struggles   she   collected   the   donations   from   Pakistan   and  Germany .

She   received   many   awards  and  citizenship   of  Pakistan  in  order   to  acknowledgment   of  her  services    .Due   to   her   continues   efforts   in  1996    The   World   Health   Organization   declared  Pakistan  one   of   the  first   country   in   south   Asia   who   have   controlled  leprosy!

On   19th  August   her   body  lay  in  state  ahead  of  state  funeral   which   was   held  in  Saint   Patrick's  Cathedral .  Her   coffin   was   draped   in  Pakistani   flag   and  19   gun  salute  was   offered   by   contingents  of   all   three   Armed  forces  of   Pakistan .   the   ceremony  was   broadcast  live  on  national  t.v.


Dear  friends  hope  you  like   my   sharing  of   today  as   for  me   people  like  doctor  Ruth   Fow   are  more   then   superheroes     who   chose   really   hard   way   of   life   and   leave   behind   the   remarkable   example   of   selflessness   and   sacrifice  . She   reached  eternity  through  her   pure   spirit   and  will  in   so   many   hearts   and   prayers   for evr!!!


Live   gloriously  like   a   shining   sun  who   shower   life   upon   earth  by  burning  itself  .
or    a  shady   tree   that   stand   selflessly    under   te   sun   no   matter   how   hard   the  sunlight  is   and   gives   peace   and   serenity    to   other   who   sit   under   it!

Nature   has    designed   only   one   religion   for   SUCCESSFUL    SURVIVOR 

 "RELIGION   OF   LOVE!!!"

Story of Eid ul Azha and visit to Local Market

           

     Hello   My  Precious   Fellows!


     Hope   and   pray   that    Life   is   behaving  sensibly    and   if  not   you   know   well   how 

  to   bring   on   track   as   you   been   brave   and   wise  in   most   of   your   doings   so   i   

strongly   believe   you   can   handle    all  brilliantly !


     Here   in   my   world   around   it   is   almost    celebration   time   again  . Our   homeland  's   70th   birthday    passed   some   days   ago   and    the   other   one   of   biggest  even   is   almost   her    which   is   called  The  Big   Eid  in   common  but   it's  it's   proper   name  is  Eid  UL   Azha.


It   is   event  which   muslims  celebrate   regarding   in   the   memory   of   on   of   our   prophet   who   dreamed   that   God   commanded   him   to   sacrifice    his   most    precious   thing   for   him .

When   prophet  Ibrahim   woke   up   and   told   about   his   dream   to   his   dearest   son   Ismaeel    he   asked  his  father     that   what   is   your  most   precious   thing   father   

Ibrahim   said "you"   The   son   said   then   you   must   obey   your   god   who   loves   you   more   than   you   love   me.

Ibrahim   laid   his   dear   son   on   ground   and   cut   his   throat    with    dagger    but     God   accepted   his   love   and   obedience  and   replaced   the   Ismaeel   with   a   sheep  .


On    this   special   day   muslim   sacrifice   animals   and   distribute   their   meat   among   poors    to   PLEASE   God!!!  

 Government   declare   3      holidays     .     Every   body   wear   new   clothes  ,visit   friends  and  relatives  and   go   to   favorite  picnic   places .

Preparation   starts  month   ago    though  i   do    re clean   or   you  can  say  wash   whole   house  including   doors  windows   kitchen   bathrooms   to    give  myself   a  fresh   feel   of   breathing  in  tidy   house.

We   shop   for   kids  ,clothes  ,shoes   ,watches   capes  etc   .

So   last   week   we   went   to   local   market   to  purchase  shirts   and   pants  for  kids  from   local   market  .Today   sharing   with   you  some  pics  to   give  you  glimpse   of  our  local    shops .hope   you  will    find   them   interesting   though  i  took  these  very  quickly  so most  are blurred .

It  was  5pm evening so was not much rushy  ,in night it gets crowded  and one find hard to walk  

Unlike  islamabad  here mostly ladies use  a full body wear which called BURKA i only wear  scarf  only  which is long and wide  enough  to   cover

our  local  market  has lots  of   stuff carts  which occupy the walking path from both side ,bikes get ban when it is crowdy times specially  when  such special days  are near

We  left almost 9 pm  and had only ice cream   as it was quite hot  weather and walking made us more exhausted.
