Hello Dear Friends!
Hope and pray that all of you are having pleasant time and enjoying your weather's different moods and as well as your doings!
Tomorrow is 14th of August and national holiday because Pakistani nation is celebrating the 70th birthday of it's country!
All images below are taken from google help.
I am in love with this man since my childhood who fought for the freedom of our nation and won the case in court of Lord MountBatten on 14th of august 1947!
He is our greatest leader and father of our nation .
It is his Tomb where people visit from all over the country everyday though but on this special day there are held special event with great enthusiasm and sensation!!!
In every national institute ,schools ,colleges ,universities and public places national events are celebrated .Pic above shows the Freedom Walk of ladies on independence day
These were the three main ingredients and RULES of our greatest lead Mr Muhammad Ali Jinnah which are mentioned in each government building and educational institutions though hope people won't only write them but apply them in their individual lives to create better "PAKISTAN"
This is Minar e Pakistan which was built to commemorate the day when Pakistan resolution was passed on 23rd march 1940 .The place called Minto park Lahore then.
lahore is capital city of Pakistan and most papolous city of the province .This view is of Badshahi Mosque Lahore On 14th august.Lahore has many more historical places regarding Mughal Heritage who ruled subcontinent for several centuries.
I really wish that inhabitants of this beautiful land take higher our flag not just literally but in REAL MEANS of HIGHET of Morality and Virtues!
These children may just sing only by their lips but through their hearts ,May their Mothers and Teachers develop the love of not only the land they live but love of people they live among .Love of whole humanity must be rooted in the depth of their souls!
Traditional punjabi Dance on independence day !Dance of joy and celebration that come from within!
Patriotism is inherited in blood of each human ,no matter how tough life he is leading .Freedom is most precious gift to a soul!!!!!!!!!
Love you my precious fellows .
Stay blessed with true happiness that comes with self respect ,dignity and selflessness .
God Bless you All!!!
Happy Birthday, Pakistan!

Hi Baili! Let's make this go further and free our minds and spirits of all the nasty stuff that people do to each other. Very nice post! That woman has a clay pot in her mouth? My teeth would fall out lol! :)

Sick mind try to control others which causes restlessness and rebelliousness in world.
You are talking about the water pit that dancing lady had
It was water pot as there were no fridge in olden days .
I too saw these in my village house as mom had few .they were kept in wet send and water in them was far freshening and light for stomach then.
Nothing can deny the purity and benefits of natural resources

ReplyDeleteMy dear Jenny I was hardly able to give a quick post to share my joy with all dear friends.
DeleteThe history of my country is quite long ,complicated and conflicted story specially regarding POLITICAL ISSUES AND RIVALS CONSPIRACIES AGAINST MY HOME LAND THAT TE AND I TRULY DON'T WANT TO ENTER IN THIS CRAP AT ANY COST.
I basically CONSIDER THIS WHOLE EARTH MY HOME REGARDLESS THE BOUNDARIES MEN MAD TO DIVID IT IN NUMEROUS TINY PARTS.PERSONALLY "I HATE THIS DIVISION. IT SHOULD BE ONLY FOR ORGNAZING POINT OF VIEW NOT FOR CREATING THE HATTET AMONG MEN IN THE STUPID BASES OF RACE COLOR OR CLASS .
SUCH DIVISION IS BENEFICIAL ONLY FOR POLITICIANS BUT HARMFUL AND DESTRUCTIVE FOR COMMON MAN BELIEVE ME AND ONE DAY IF REAL HONEST MEN WILL TAKE THE CHARGE OF THIS WORLD THEY WILL MAKE IT A ONE UNIT FOREVER
That is a wonderful outlook, that "the whole earth is home"! We all need to think like that, baili!
DeleteHappy Anniversary to Pakistan and it's people. I'm old enough to remember when this took place. It took a long time and a lot of trouble.
ReplyDeleteThank you Red!
DeleteI heard trouble my country took for came in its being .
Actually it was conspiracy to prove this decision wrong in front of the world and for putting people of newly born country in misery so they may can realise that they choose inappropriate place to live .
But time and brave people proved all the predictions wrong and made this land a strong beautiful shelter for them to which they love more than anything and are ready to sacrifice their lives to protect it from any kind of harm.
Happy Independence day to Pakistan.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you have great celebration Baili!

ReplyDeletegorgeous picture of the mosque
ReplyDeleteHappy 70th Birthday to your country, Baili! I so understand love of one's country and pride in it. It was interesting to read up a little on Muhammad Ali Jinnah after reading your comments on him. His story means much more to me having seen it through your eyes. History always means more when you have a connection to it. It's sad that Jinnah only lived a little more than a year after the founding of Pakistan. His tomb is striking!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all the vibrant photos of Pakistan. The photo of Badshahi Mosque in Lahore with its reflections in the water is lovely. I particularly enjoyed the last two photos, but I sure wouldn't want to dance with a clay jar in my teeth!
I hope that all is well with you and your awesome family!
Thank you dearest Louise !
DeleteIt seems the world is not producing great men like Mr jinnah anymore .
with such powerful vision ,strength of will and passion for their mission .These men did not live only for their individual will but they took pride to work for great ambitions which were for betterment of whole nation and humanity.
He was just 70 but struggled he did was quite hard for his shoulders and most of all may be he felt alone when after the freedom government servants could not stay as loyal and as devoted as Mr Jinnah thought they should be .
May be it was his grief who took his life before the time. He was sad and spent his last days of illness in his far away house among mountain.
When i was in village as student we had great affection for him even my mother who is not educated till primary school had tears in her eyes when she listened his speeches on radio or television .
O each 14th August me my younger sister and my mom used to decorate our whole house with little hanging flags and glittering pamphlets written patriotic words on .
in night we used to lit lots of candle on the walls .it was time when our blood had warmth and passion to do something for our country
Yes, the world needs more leaders with vision, will, and passion for their mission. Sadly these qualities are lacking in my president. I am disheartened by his recent actions after the tragedy in Charlottesville, Virginia prompted by hate groups.
DeleteI do admire Prime Minister Trudeau of Canada, especially his embracing of all of Canada's citizens, no matter their race, religion, sex, education, or socioeconomic status. The contrast between Trudeau and Trump regarding refugees could not be more stark.
I loved hearing about your family's Independence Day traditions.
Have a happy day, my friend!
Hi Baili - what a lovely tribute to your country and President Jinnah - I need to come back to re-read your post properly ... so I've made a note to do so ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteThank you so much dear Hilary,
Deletei will be more cherished to hear more from you my friend!
Hi Baili - I see that Malala was influenced by President Jinnah ... many of us have been blessed by her inspirational life following the attack on her life ... she continues to shine and to offer hope to young girls wanting an education despite parental restrictions ...
DeleteI found this quote from Professor Wolpert "Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Muhammad Ali Jinnah did all three." - he sounds an inspirational leader ... so pleased Pakistan has achieved its own status ... all the best to the country for many decades and centennials ahead ... cheers Hilary

Pakistan is only 70 years old though but is learning swiftly from his own mistakes .
i can see the hope in form of mature beautiful people with grace and intellect who are struggling to make it healthier boy .
