When our stomach feel hungry we feed him with food .
When our soul is hungry we give her Tea :)
Food and tea both effect our body in totally opposite way.
We need bit of rest after Food .
But when we want to rest our mind we need Tea.
Tea has definitely something to do with our creative side because it boosts our imagination .
I bet tea has contributed A lot in all kinds of arts sprung within Lofty minds!
I wonder what world would have been if there was no such soul refreshing drink ?
If you have to well come new day you will do so by SIPPING YOUR TEA :)
Your eyes will move upon views meanwhile or on newspaper may be,
but your spirit will slowly spread her wings wider and wider while taking in warm delicious tea :)
A gloomy sunset can sadden you for while until sip of tea travels from your mouth to down in your belly .
I believe it's soothing smoky delicate warmth stimulate your thoughts , turn it towards positivity and sublimity . And you think there is still tomorrow :)
It is dazzling how Tea bring changes to your moods.
It can cool down your Hot mood .And on the other hand if you feeling Cool it can warm you :)
I saw how tea provoke discussions . And at one point when opponents seem to get in fight Tea served on Right time can save the day :)
There are morning teas and evening teas as well because during both times our mind needs a PUSH to feel active and motivated .
My parents were hugely fond of Tea. Specially father .He would feel need for tea after each two hour .
Mom was health conscious though but she would take tea atleast four times a day.
Mom was always annoyed when father would ask for after while on weekends when he was on home.
There were small cute fights which would made us smile but sometimes they turn little serious which would upset us.
Our tea is simple to make . Back in village tea water was boiled first , then added loose tea and sugar and finally milk.
Whole process take hardly 20 minutes.
Here in hubby's city we boil water and milk together for ten minutes and then add sugar and tea .After adding both i boil it just for one minute though people boil it for long .
I do so because it is healthier way which i learnt from doctor who's interview i listened once long long ago .
Unlike my younger sister i was Tea fan, really big actually.
I would take almost five to six cup of tea each day.
Back in my village my friends and relatives know so well that when i am guest at their house no soft drink is needed only tea :)
How can i forget beautiful rainy days when i had book in one hand and cup of tea in other .
I would take sip of tea and then take swing ,it was MAGICAL EXPERIENCE and is still UNFORGETTABLE !
Poetry and pros both would flow smoothly in my mind and i would get up and start writing robotically.
By the time i had to reduce my tea . I can hardly have two cup of tea everyday.
I don't think it was mere an accident that tea leaves dropped in Shen Nung 's boiling water ,
It was another message of nature for man to show the way of AWAKENING THE SOUL!
Hope you guys also tea as well but how many times of the day ,when and did you guys also reduced amount of tea ?

I do like tea from time to time, not every day like coffee.
ReplyDeleteI love tea. I tend to like it with just boiling water and no milk or sugar. I seem to be unusual in that respect. I always have tea in the morning these days. I often also drink it I in the afternoon. It is a wonderful drink.
ReplyDeleteTea without milk and sugar called " qehwa" here

ReplyDeleteI too don't like soft drinks dear Emma
DeleteMorning and evening tea are part of culture here
Even in all kind of offices tea breaks are given :)
During daytime people take tea according to their habits and requirements though
I drink tea everyday.
ReplyDeleteMiddle of the morning with some cookies.
Have a great week
I think you call it breakfast dear Pedro ?
DeleteI love tea! But I have not experienced the different tea that you have.
ReplyDeleteour tea has bit of sweetness and slight silkiness of milk dear Red
Deletethis addition keeps the tea perfect drink that meet all desires of nature
that is concept of tea here
it not just give you a "push " but cheer you up with help of ingredients :)
I never have tea in the late afternnons or before sleeping generally
ReplyDeleteNot afternoon but EVENING tea is must for almost all here dear Ola
DeleteHaving tea before sleeping is unwise though
Eu também bebo chá todos os dias. Gosto imenso.
ReplyDeleteUma boa semana.
Um beijo.
My mother and grandmothers had the kettle on a stove and tea was continuously being drunk throughout the day; we have a modern kettle in our house but we still drink lots of tea, maybe 6 or 8 cups a day. We love tee, the first drink of the day for me and usually the last too!
ReplyDeleteThat would be true for my parents too dear Betty
DeleteMy mom slow it down later but father did not
Tea wad being made after short breaks
How amazing you can enjoy 8 cup of tea till now my friend
I wish my stomach can be as kind and friendly :)
What a fascinating topic, dear Baili!
ReplyDeleteIt was very interesting to read how you prepare the tea. I would like to drink tea more often, but for practical reasons I usually drink coffee.
Wishing you peaceful and happy days! Hugs.
People of cold part of lands prefer coffee usually dear Sara
DeleteMay be it has ability to keep warm more than tea
Here is a cup of imaginary dandelion tea for you, Baili. Enjoy! :)
ReplyDeleteOh so sweet of you dear Sandi :)
DeleteI wish I could still drink tea but it does not agree with me . . . I miss it! I am glad you can enjoy yours so much. It was very interesting to read how you make tea. Here we heat the teapot by swishing some hot water in it and emptying it. Then put the teabag, two or more, in the teapot and add boiling water. Set on low heat for a few minutes to steep, then pour into cups. Then people add whatever they prefer, sugar, milk or cream, or both. Some people boil the tea after adding the water but it makes it very strong. Green tea only became popular here about ten years ago. Most people still drink black tea. I have had to learn to do without a hot drink but I do enjoy almond milk and just plain water instead :)
ReplyDeleteI won't say I am sorry that you can't take tea anymore because we all go through problems followed by agging dear Jenny so it is better to listen to our body otherwise she won't listen us :)
ReplyDeleteI know I too will have learn survive without tea because I am realizing how my stomach has started resistance against it slowly
Boiling tea after adding ingredients makes it toxic
I am glad almond drink is there for you my friend:)
I love tea. I only drink herbal so no need to cut down :-)
ReplyDeleteAmalia
xo
Herble tea is also popular here but less than normal one
DeleteMy mother was fond of it though
I am more a coffee person but I do drink tea but not as often as coffee.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is Mosley drink of winter season here dear Nancy
DeleteBecause we live in hotter parts of land
Tea time is such a special time of day, isn't it? My favorite teas are English Breakfast, green tea, and chamomile. Enjoy your tea during the day, Baili. It's such a relaxing time when we can drown out the noises in the world and sit back and think and dream and pray and listen. : )
ReplyDelete~Sheri
thank you dear Sheri for such POETIC comment :)
Deleteour evening and morning teas are purely for relaxation and connection indeed :)
Tea is a calming and relaxing drink for me.
ReplyDeleteit is for sure dear Connie :) i don't know what other way can bring such tranquility to our mornings and evenings :)
DeleteI enjoy tea as well, Baili, but find that the colder months are when I have it more often in the evenings. I enjoy fruit-flavored teas and do not put anything other than hot water over the tea bags. I have never used loose tea, but know many others who enjoy it, but I admit to being lazy and so use a tea bag all the time. I also enjoy iced tea and like you do not drink any soda, except for seltzer which is carbonated but has no sugar added.
ReplyDeleteglad that you can enjoy evening tea more often
Deleteloose tea is added to boiling water right before switching off the stove , flavor is rich if stir it bit before pouring
i rarely take cold drink of any kind
I love my cups of tea, especially the first one of the day :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I drink tones of green tea and I drink it every day! Your milk tea sounds interesting! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHi! Baily, an interesting topic.I love tea, but now-a-days, I take tea only once and the rest, black coffee is my beverage. Nicely elaborated.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely "Ode to Tea." I can see how much you love it, Baili! Now, if you substituted "coffee" for "tea" everywhere you would know how much I love coffee!!! I enjoy tea and appreciate it wherever it is served to me. I would dearly love sharing a cup of tea with you!
