Hello Precious Fellows!
hope and pray that all of you are enjoying your holiday season with your loved ones so nicely !
Winter sounds in it's extreme mood though hopefully it is not disabling you to capture and freeze the beauty of present moments for you and preserve them as splending memories :)
My eldest son who lives in munich for his masters visited the amsterdam during his holidays and sent me glimpse of his trip .
I am sharing them with you hope you like the peek.
I specially LOVED the excessive presence of beautiful canals in the capital city of Netherland !
Beautiful evening lights and crowd
Remarkably captured i think
Piece of my heart ,my eldest son! he missed being with us in his holidays he siad he will come in next to home for sure ! we miss him a looot!
Hotel room where my son stayed with his three friends
Tram is crossing the crowded area
Absolutely marvelous building
i think train or tram track
Gorgeous! fog created mysterious appeal in the view
he said air was loaded with water though was not raining
He loved the canal views so much
Reflections have their own language ,lights try to pave their way in the deep silent heart of water
Place where everybody seem to draw his imagination freely !
A beautiful building decorated as a gift
she seems to lost in her imagery completely :)
another stunning view of canal
my son complains about his phone cam to not capturing the evening so well
Due to christmas season people look so excited and enthusiastic
I can imagine the serenity my son would have enjoyed while standing there
Looks someone parted the buildings through the long line of water
i liked the neatness here
amazingly lighented to reflect the sensational joy of the season
May be someone draw the transformation of a man to monster i guess
this is 1:20 pm . temp is 20 though feels like 15 as it is quite cold .
In our home labours are working to renovate our 12 years old floors who got very bad .Work is being done since two weeks and will take two more weeks probably.
I am taking my medicines and manage to take my walks to stay active .Feeling fine just missing my son though we are in constant touch .
Leaving for now by saying good luck to all of you dear friends!
Take great care
Stay Positive and strong ,you are the one who can save you ,just stay connected with your Maker and he will give some of his strength to you to handle everything miraculously !
God Bless You All!!!
I grown there and be there still often - but not so much anymore in the centrum. I think when you living for good there many Amsterdam people find it so crowd ,that you see it with another eyes. I love the city Florance but the people there move because for all the crowd For hollidays are big city's nice to see ..
ReplyDeleteI agree that city sounds crowded which i will not find appealing to live forever though visiting it once in while is not bad idea .

Thank you for sharing the Amsterdam pictures Baili. I have been to The Netherlands several times. It is a neat and interesting country and most of the people speak good English. ReplyDeletethank you for your kind response !
Deletei am glad you have visited the Netherland so far .
In munich my son feels the language barriers though Amsterdam is good to have people who speak english or at least understand and this is most probably because of that place is always crowded with foreigners .
I have survived from stomach ulcer ,now fighting with possibility of throat ulcer and for this i am taking medicines ,life is still beyond beautiful :)
I have never been to the Netherlands so I am delighted to see your son's pictures, baili! It looks truly beautiful and I especially liked the scenes with fog in them. I see your son is being smart and wearing a warm scarf :)

thank you for these wonderful photos, I was in Amsterdam just about a month ago or less and it really did look like this, except that there was heavy snow which had fallen rather unseasonably. There are so many beautiful places to see there. I recognised the children drawing in the Rijksmuseum. It looks as if your son is making the most of his stay there, how lovely it to be young and see new places!

Thank you for mentioning the name of drawing place as my son forgot this one when i asked.
Yes in this enthusiastic age travelling the world and exploring the new cultures, people and customs is really a WONDERFUL fun and adventure.
In my age now (almost 48) I would love to travel though but main thing has lessen by the time which play backbone in this "the sense of enjoyment "
What an incredible city for your son to visit, such an opportunity for him, and how wonderful that you get to experience it through his eyes! All the canals and big beautiful buildings are amazing! I know you must miss your son terribly, but I am glad that he will be coming home soon to see you. I hope you continue to feel better on your meds, and that the floors get finished quickly. It is always nice to have new floors when they are done! Hugs to you today dear friend :)

ReplyDeleteI'm glad your son got to visit Amsterdam. You know, the girls visited Amsterdam many years ago on their trip to Europe. Your son took some interesting pictures. The canal is so calm and pretty, and I like that festive building decorated in presents! Glad he's doing ok away from home, Baili. Being his mother, I'm sure that's comforting to you.
ReplyDelete~Sheri
I love the photos of Amsterdam that your eldest son took, Baili. I was there in October 1962, and his photos brought back many memories for me, especially the lovely canals in the misty light. It's challenging to take night photos with an iPhone. I wish mine turned out as well as your son's! the photo of the little girl painting is brilliant! Hugs to you, my friend!
