Choose Between Two ...

If  you  have   to  choose  between   two   planets

one   is   equipped  with  ultra  modern   facilities  and  technology

Other   is   enriched  with  natural   beauty   perfect  to  initiate  life

Which  And  why  Is  Your  Choice  ?

  1. Good question but I guess it depends. It depends on how primitively I would have to live in the natural beauty planet. I think that without certain basics, like electricity, running water, access to books, medical care, etc. then life would be too unpleasant. But if I still had those things on the natural beauty planet, then it would be my pick. I could do without more advanced technology.

    1. planet with natural beauty has crystal clear springs
clean air and natural light of sun ,moon and stars :)

future of planet and all these resources depends how new residents utilize them

as new inhabitants we will not have to live in caves because we are learned to start better and safer journey while avoiding all mistakes we made on planet earth and destroyed it's Ozone layer ,damaged forests ,killed animals and above all risked humanity

    1. This planet was pure and peaceful gift for humans dear Sandi
We took it granted so badly

Our selfishness and ego has eaten all the beauty of it.

We were suppose to live here lovingly and happily ever after

That is what Lord had wanted from us
The true obedience with no claim of superiority over any other living being
But see where are we now!

  8. I need an indoor toilet. I guess that means that while I would dearly love the beauty of the other planet I would have to choose the world that will offer what I require.

    1. what you need is basic necessity dear Emma

and people on this planet will be skilled enough to provide such initial needs

  9. This is a bit of a hard choice because as it stands now, technology has brought me much enjoyment and meeting of like minds through blogging. But I feel greatly drawn to nature, both when I am content AND when I am stressed. So I think the natural world would have to be the one I choose. An interesting question, baili!

    1. dear jenny no doubt modern world offers more comfortable living but question is that

are these comforts doing their jobs to fullest ?

are we at absolute peace when we are with our comforts or still there is something missing ?

if answer is yes then why not trying natural environment that mostly deliver complete peace of mind and while we are within such environment we feel no need for anything else

  11. Natural beauty all the way. I will admit, I LOVE plumbing, electricity and the internet...but if I had the choice, I would give it all up to live off the land without question. You know me Baili, my "god" (well goddess!!!) is the Earth and I love everything about her. I'm spoiled to have all of the modern conveniences I have but I know I could live very happily without it all too. In fact, maybe my spirituality would increase, my gratitude for what is all around me would open my heart more too. :)

    1. yes i know you dear Rain and i had thought that you would choose one with Natural living :)

honestly i don't know why i always felt a pursuit for life close to nature :)

sitting under trees ,walking within woods ,having water before eyes and staring the sky untiringly

progress of life is comforting me bit but it also fearing as i am loosing the initial and natural way of life

i too like all the facilities of advanced world but when i compare it to natural way of living i will still prefer living in clay house and all the natural surroundings

may be like you i like to live more spiritually than physically :)

  12. You have a hard question to answer, dear Baili. I am in between, I mean I Love natural beauty but I need technology even more modern facility.

The second planet sounds need extra energy for living, I am weak and my physical body isn't strong enough just for exist. I will go the first planet then :)

    Very interesting, Baili!

  14. I would choose the planet with the natural beauty. Technology has encouraged a culture of distraction where priorities like faith, family & morality are put on the back burner. But maybe that perfect planet was not to be; maybe it is called heaven.

    1. life was always mixture of good and bad on this planet dear Chris

but yes i agree more than 100% that technology ,specially media and social media has revolutionize the scenario mostly for worse

spreading hatter on the names of religions ,culture or all is mostly done by this privilege called technology

before distance between people was merely physical but now it is mental
lack of love ,trust and patience are gift of media which present things in larger than life version thoughtlessly that how horribly it is going to poison people's minds which are forced to learn by their natural instinct

this earth was not curse dear friend
it was gift ,as women we know better how a person can turn a hell into heaven with his faith in goodness ,patience and undefeated struggle
all that matter is how true we are in our intentions to do so

  16. Too easy, baili.
    Have a great weekend

  17. Oh definitely the second one!
It's qualities are far more profound and essential than the other one.
Although technology has it's positive uses, it has seriously stunted our ability to rely upon our own intuition, and has, I believe, driven a serious wedge between ourselves and our Creator.
    Yes, I know which I'd choose!!😊😊

Sending you Much Love and Hugs, my dear Friend ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    1. like everything else technology also has effected our life in both ways dear Ygraine positive and negative

we are pampered with luxury and comfort on one hand but on the other hand technology has dimmed our spiritual side
most painful thing is that we are being driven away from not just our true selves but far away from maker
      it is unfixable loss !

  18. The latter would be my choice :)

    All the best Jan

  20. This is a difficult question, Baili.
I know that nature feeds my soul, and it is in nature that I find restoration. However, if I had been born even 50 years earlier I would not have lived beyond my 4th year. I have been in life threatening circumstances way too many times, and modern medicine has saved me from likely death repeatedly.

I have lived in a number of isolated and difficult places much closer to nature. The choices available to women were few, and most women worked terribly hard and were old before their time and often died at an early age. I appreciate that I have had an opportunity to life twice the lifetimes of most of humanity, and I have not been broken and worn out by drudgery. As a modern woman, I have had access to a wonderful and broad education, and I have been able to life my life as I chose.

I love the access I have to knowledge ~ especially the ability to learn so much about our planet throughout time and our universe. I can access the thinking of brilliant people throughout time. I've listened to the strong women in my family from my great grandmother forward, and they all expressed how much they would have appreciated, even envied, the opportunities I have had. I know me, and I would have gone out of my mind in a much more limited, but beautiful natural place.

I know what it's like to chop wood, carry water, live without electricity, sleep on the ground, wash laundry by hand on rocks in a lake, gather and preserve food for later use, knit, sew, pluck birds, gut a fish, walk miles just to able to talk with a friend, be ridiculed and ostracized because I was too smart and didn't know my place, to have limited ability to move more than few miles from my home, and be desperately cold and suffer from life-sucking heat.

I also know the wonder of being able to travel the world and experience its people and places. I would never have been able to have you as a friend without modern technology!

I'll take the modern, technological world, thank you!!! Are you surprised?

  21. dear Louise fist of all i am sorry for late reading comments which i approved before going to bed last night but did not read until now after my morning recitation

i always expect something striking from you and i i say not much surprised is right :)

suffering and threat for humanity that brought modern world along is overwhelming .when i see life as whole and it's scary future it makes me wish to move somewhere where being optimist does not sound silly

all the ease and specially the knowledge that has brought technology compelling indeed
chances to grow and groom are also fascinating but inevitably when realize that how quick and how dreadfully it is spreading the hatter between people and creating more and more negativity scares me

i find it is getting worse and worse and may there will be no time to correct things

i see new planet as second chance for humanity to survive without making same mistakes

i admit that it sounds bit lazy to want to live in old ways
still if we step there with knowledge we have today ,difference can be made to great extent ,same prosperity can be achieved by avoiding faults we made here
unity and bonding between people must be the basic lessen of very first class there
with faith and unity life on that planet will be Better and modern my friend

  22. I would choose the natural beauty of the planet, but then, if I actually lived this way, I might quickly miss the technology side of things. Balance is important in all areas of life is the lesson learned here for me.
