Change is good .It adds new colors to same old things .When i stepped in to kitchen after three days nothing was on it's place .It took me while to pull and place back everything . I been having high fever since three days along with flu . Today felt better ,I missed being in kitchen and cooking.Hubby took over the responsibility of cooking meanwhile .While boys were cleaning and washing dishes. Whenever i get sick like this i miss to have one daughter though. Daughters are more contemplative when it comes to look after parents or work in kitchen where everything needs to be on it's specific place.
Hubby also went through fever before me and recovered within almost week thankfully!
Government has announced that annual examination will not take place this year so i am supervising my boys for studies of upcoming grades .My younger one will apply for university this year .His elder brother is guiding him for this. This is weird how from very young age people start struggling for life . I think life was simpler and easier in olden days when minds were not anxious and over load with awareness. Awareness mature us early. Sometimes it dims our liveliness and damage our innocence . Is it not right to get knowledge what is necessary for bettering life and stay happy and carefree.
Hope lockdown in your areas have completely lifted friends. Here govt is thinking to strict it again as number of patients has increased quickly after loosing it.Almost 60000 patients are reported .It is all because people did not care about restrictions .And now those will suffer who will not be able to earn living meanwhile!
Keep taking good care friends!
God bless you all!
Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you and your husband are doing better. We have been staying at home and only enjoying spring from our own backyard.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better. Life is a struggle for sure.
ReplyDeleteDearest Baili, oh I am so sorry you have both been ill...and I really hope you continue to recover quickly. You are always in my thoughts and prayers. Get well soon, my beautiful friend.😊 I just wish I could have been there to help with your chores...
ReplyDeleteWe have had a few of the restrictions lifted here, but we still have to socially distance, plus we do wear face masks when we go out.
Please take care, dearest Baili...you are so precious.😊😊
Sending you all my love and hugs ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
dear Baili, I hope you will feel well quickly and that this is not the CV19 virus. Blessings to you and the men as they care for you, themselves and the home. Let go of the chores, they will still be there for you! just rest and trust.
ReplyDeleteTake care Baili. Hope everyone is better soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy you are feeling better. Please be careful. Lockdowns have eased here but I'm being careful. I am watching for what happens next.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that you are feeling better. Some people don't take the pandemic as something dangerous.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, Baili, to read that you have not been feeling well. Glad that your husband and sons are helping with household chores and hope you are able to rest for awhile. Some restrictions have been lifted here compared to many other states, but we still have precautions and restrictions.
ReplyDeleteOh Baili, do hope you are feeling much improved from the flu and high temperature. It's not easy when you've been ill and come to your kitchen and find things all over the place :) but it's also good that people in the house can take care of the cooking.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Macau and Hong are considering reopening the borders next weekend.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope and pray ...
nice story,nthanks for sharing ❤
ReplyDeleteChange is good, that is so right. The city I live in was not completely under lock down but I enjoyed some of the things that I would not be able to on regular basis. I went for long walks everyday and enjoyed real quality time with my grown up daughter besides doing other things.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
I'm sorry you and your husband were ill, baili. I hope you are feeling much better now. You are so right about the effects of the shutdown on those who must go out every day to make enough just to eat. It's a terrible situation for them.
ReplyDeleteHi Baili - glad to read you are feeling better - I'm assuming it was just a normal type flu and not Covid because of your quick recovery. YOu know - I too wish sometimes I had a daughter - especially one to go out to lunch with and all that mother daughter stuff. Boys don't normally love to do that although my youngest likes to hang out with us but others are in different states. Lockdown has eased so much here in southern california - but as you probably know there are protests and violence in my towns and cities. not so up here in the mountains so i'm thankful for that.
ReplyDeleteDearest Baili, just stopped by to ask how you are?
ReplyDeleteI do so hope you are feeling better, my beautiful friend...
Sending you all my love and prayers for a return to full health.🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤
I'm so happy to hear that you and your husband are both feeling better. Some restrictions have been lifted here but social distancing is still in place. Our province is being very cautious, which I'm pleased about. Stay safe and be well!
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased to read that you are feeling better … but do take care.
ReplyDeleteHere in the UK some of the lockdown restrictions have been eased, so hopefully slowly, slowly things will continue to improve.
I do like the image you've used in your post here …
Sending my good wishes to you and your family.
All the best Jan
I'm so sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well. I hope you are soon doing better. Take care, dear Baili.
ReplyDeleteI am happy to hear that you and your hubbie have recovered from your illness and fevers.
ReplyDeleteOur lockdown restrictions have been eased. But the plan will only work if people are sensible.
Where I live there are many people who do not respect the social distancing.
How wonderful that your husband and sons took care of you and coped while you were sick. I think it's good that husbands and sons can function in a kitchen and look after themselves! I am a firm believer in boys and girls learning essential life skills for running a household and looking after money. Many times I wish that I knew more about household repairs so I would be better at fixing things. I can use a hammer, a saw, pliers, and wrenches, but I am not a Tool Gal. LOL I am creative at making tools for things I want to do. For example, I have a collection of rocks and knitting needles stuck in a few places to keep the birds from nesting. Unfortunately a pair of house finches outwitted me in recent days. They constructed a nest in no time on top of one of our outdoor stereo speakers, a spot I hadn't blocked. Now Little Mama is happily sitting on eggs and glares at me whenever I step out on our deck. I dearly love birds. Take care, dear Baili!
ReplyDeleteTake care, Baili and family. We need good minds more than ever now --Yours especially.
