Sleepy 's Query

Hello   Adorable  Friends!

Hope  and  pray   that  all  is  going  beautiful   in  your   lovely  worlds!

and   you  are  enjoying  your  weather   and   moments  with  gratitude !

As  you  know  that   due  to  medication  now  days  i  am   feeling  little  sleepy   all  the  time   so  this irritates  me  LOT :(

as  i  am  person  with  so  much  greed  of  a  certain  state  of  mind  in  which  i  feel  fully  attentive  and  active  to  taste  the  each  bit  of  my   quickly  passing   life .

who  knows   until  when  i  am  able   to  breathe  and  absorb  the  beauty   of  life  so  why  wasting  the  "PRECIOUS " moments  in  "sleepy  MODE"?

I   still  can  hardly  sleep  for  six  hours ,not  more  than  that  ,

I  DON"T  TAKE  NAPS" even   now  when  my  medication  pushes  me  to  fall asleep. I  do  my  routine  house  chore with  halfly  awaken   senses  .

I  still  take  my  daily  walk  as  usual  and  i  try  to  post  no  matter  how  hard  it  takes .

I  still  supervise  my   youngest  son  in  his  studies .Hubby  helps  in  chores  after  office  time  which  gives  me  time  for  little   reading  sometimes.

Today  want  to  ask  two  questions  from  you  friends  hope  you  like  to  reply  ,

Are   you  late  night  sleeper ?

                  Can  you  survive  without   NAPS?

Stay  charged  with  life  dears!

Love  yourself ,Love  everything  around  you!

Life  is  so  short  and  very  unpredictable ,So  wasting  it  in  haters  and  negativity  is  just  a  stupidity.

God  Bless  You  All!!!

  1. I am sorry to hear about your issues with being tired. I hope that you can get off the medication soon and feel yourself again.

I used to sleep solidly. Now that I am getting a little older I do not sleep as much and I sleep more fitfully. I do not have too many opportunities to take naps as I tend to be very busy. When I do get the chance I love to take them :)

  3. Dear Baili, Your medication seems to be quite strong. I hope you have relayed this to your doctor so he or she can adjust your dosage before you get hurt. Being drowsy while cooking and such could be problematic. Please be very, very careful. I pray for your safety. Do not deny yourself naps if that is what your body is telling you to do. It might be the medication doing it but I believe that if your body didn't need the rest, then it would be strong enough to prevent the drowsiness. It is in resting that we heal.
    Much love,
    Carol

  4. Morning Baili. Sleep often escapes me as I have gotten older but naps make the situation worse. I get 4 or 5 hours a night and have learned to adapt to it somewhat I don’t like it though.

  5. Espero que ultrapasse esses problemas com o sono. Dormir bem é essencial para se conseguir fazer o que é preciso.
    Uma boa semana.
    Um beijo.

  7. This is very interesting, because here in Norhern Europe is a very dark time of the year. It is almost the darkest time and it makes people very tired. We have not light enough to be awake.
I don`t have any naps, but I need eight hours sleep for the night. It doesn`t work always and I like to be awake late in the evening.
I hope you are getting better and have a good night sleep!

  8. I nap if I feel the need sepecially since I am not a great night sleeper. I am a night owl and get to bed late usually. A nap refreshes me and I function much better afterwards. I am fortunate to be retired and can nap when I wish.

  9. I like being up late when the world is at peace. If I am fortunate I might even hear a coyote how, in the distance. Of course the busy time of early morning when all comes awake is nice too but I prefer late night. As for naps I love them. I often just nestle into my chair and snooze for a while in the afternoon.

  10. Oh dear, to not be able to go about your daily activities without feeling druggedly tired is terrible. As for me, I love a 'nanny nap' in the afternoon every now and then. It's amazing how refreshed I feel after only a half hour snooze. Take care, lovely Baili.

  11. I stay up late and get up after about 7 hours of sleep. I love a good nap, but do not take one every day.

It is my limited experience that some how, medicated sleep is not refreshing, so I hope you can get back to normal soon.

  12. My dear friend, I wish you were feeling full of your usual pep; soon hopefully. You still sound full of activity and efficiency.

I love naps, but when I take them, I like to lay on the floor in front of the sliding glass door in the sun, or I go to my bedroom, close the blinds, take off my clothes and get under the covers.

A very dear friend taught me to listen to my body, not the clock of the industrial world. When I am hungry, eat. Sleepy, sleep. If my body says wake up at 3:00 a.m. and read or have a cup of tea, then that's what I do.

  13. I'm sorry that your medicine is making you so tired! I hope that soon you'll be able to get back to normal, feeling tired all of the time can be really stressful.

I'll admit that I adore naps. I usually have 1 or 2 a week, sometimes shortly after I get the kids off to school or before it's time to pick them up.

  14. I am a night-owl and stay up late to read at night, enjoying the stillness and the stars out the windows. I rarely nap, but will go to bed early sometimes to make up for late nights. I so agree with your last statement about life being too short for hate and negativity. Sending hugs and blessings for your new week, dear friend. xo Karen

  17. I do nap from time to time, I find it quite refreshing.
Sending my good wishes - take care of yourself, and perhaps rest or nap if you need to.

    All the best Jan

  18. I am a night owl and go to bed late, and get up rather late, too, as I no longer have to get up early for children and my paid work can be done later in the day. If I could do just as I want, I would have an afternoon nap every day :)

  19. And I do hope you can get used to the medication soon. It isn't any fun to try to keep going when we don't feel alert or rested. Good luck, dear friend.

  20. Some medication can have these side effects.
Panadol Cold&Flu, that I'm taking, is one of those.

  21. I love a good nap sometimes. I cuddle up with a good book when I'm feeling tired and end up dozing off. My favourite time of the day is very early in the morning before the sun comes up. It's very peaceful at that time.

  23. sorry Baili that you have to struggle through chores with tiredness. I always thought naps were good and I have one most days. I work a 12 hour shift with two 30 min breaks and go sleep in my car for 15 mins at lunchtime, on days off I often do the same but not for too long, setting my alarm. Some others have suggested your medication dose might need adjusting, I hope you can check this with your gp. p.s. even my hairdresser has 'power naps' while my hair colour is processing she has a little lie down!

  24. Your tablets make you sleepy and feel tired - hopefully that improves as time goes on.
I go to bed late and I don't get up real early except on morning the grandchildren are coming to stay for the day then it's 6.30am but I still go to bed late.
I need approximately 6 hours sleep a night (we are all different)
Don't sleep during the day only on a odd occasion.

  25. Sometimes I nap for about half an hour after supper if I've had a really busy day. That's just old age creeping up on me!

  26. as we get older, woman have sleeping issues. i am not a napper, i wish i were able to sleep off hours!!! take care of yourself baili!!

  27. Certain medications can make you feel very sleepy indeed. I must admit to the occasional nap at times but not too often. There's nothing worse than not being able to sleep at night.
Have a wonderful day Baili :)

  28. I often take a nap in the afternoon for about an hour. I think that I won't go off to sleep, but if I put one of my crocheted blankets over me I soon drift off and feel better for it afterwards. I hope you find a sleep pattern that's right for you that will be of benefit.

  29. Hi Dear Baili, I often take afternoon naps! I'm early to bed and early to rise, hoping to be wise. Ha ha that is an old saying you've probably heard? I want you to say around for a long, long time because I love your blog and your kind words. So, follow Doctor's orders for the medication and, if necessary, take a nap so you can keep posting on Baili and I! :-) John

  30. Hi Baili :) I am a "normal" sleeper I guess. I am tired around 10-11pm and I'm up by 7am. Alex is a night owl though, he sometimes gets insomnia and only falls asleep when I'm getting up. That happened last night and I try my best to keep all the pets quiet so he can rest. He got to bed at 6am last night. But if he naps, he feels worse. I can nap for an hour or so if I'm really tired, but I try not to because I'm happier when I have a good routine. Sorry the meds are still making you sleepy...I hope that goes away soon, it's been a while now hasn't it?

  31. Hello Baili, just a thought... but once your system adjusts to the medication the side effect of drowsiness may well go. Sometimes this can take a few months but it's often what happens.
In the meantime, very good wishes for your improved health. You have a lovely attitude to life's ups and downs :D)

  32. I don't nap, but I do like my sleeping! Sleep heals your body! It's very important! Big Hugs!

  33. Oh, that would be so difficult to take medication that makes you sleepy! Is it helping you at all? You always have such a cheerful outlook and attitude about your life situation. I hope that you get better soon and won't need the medication! Praying for you dear friend!

  34. I'm sorry that you went through a period of sleepiness, Baili. I hope that you are finished with your medication, and feeling perkier now. Like you, I struggle to sleep more than six hours a night, and I rarely take naps. Meanwhile my husband has a nap every day, sleeps seven or eight hours a night, and falls asleep as soon as his head hits the pillow. Argh! I wish I was a person who is an easy and long sleeper.

No matter what you are facing, you always take the time to inspire others and lift them up through your posts. I really agree with what you wrote: "Life is so short and very unpredictable, so wasting it in haters and negativity is just a stupidity." It's an important observation on life; but even though I know it, I sometimes sink into negativity. I won't go into the details, but late November and all of December was a tough time for me. I almost stopped blogging because I was so discouraged, and I didn't write a word until January 3rd. I'm doing better now, and I keep reminding myself that life is a gift, and I must enjoy and be grateful for every day. Blessing to you, my friend!
