The Stuff Of My Heart With Art Sent By Younger Son

It's a beautiful day of the March . Views bathing in sunshine look tranquil and profound .Plants of my little garden look happy to embrace breeze .No doubt spring has it's own magic which captivates our sense thoroughly:) Temperature is swinging around 30 c or below to it which is mild for people living in area which temperature rise to 50c from May . So each day with bearable environment is gift by the grace of God!

It is 4pm hardly two and half hour to sunset .As you might know that the month of Ramadan has started few days ago .so my younger son is fasting fondly . I have to wake up for him at 4am to make him breakfast so he can keep fasting during the day. I shared in my previous post that i have started to take yogurt since two weeks almost and it has worked miraculously for me so i am able to fast after six years :) Yes many years ago  i used to fast every year because of habit my formed by my mom .But many years ago i had to quit fasting first because of severe stomach troubles and later terrible headache that was unbearable during fasting time specially after two pm . I could not understand what was causing such pain which would keep me down and seize my mobility absolutely. That would make system of household chaotic .

But This year taking yogurt ,such a simple thing solved such big issue of my life thankfully. First fasting day was Thursday my son had fast but the fear of worst headache kept me away from even having thought of it. But at Friday i encouraged myself while thinking that as because yogurt has made me feel lot better ,it might help to fast pain freely . And guess what despite of fasting i remained fine and active from dawn to dusk by the grace of Lord!

I fast because i like having stomach empty for somedays and yes it makes me feel more close to my Creator because of mental state it provides throughout the day. Doctor and all most all religious doctrine recommends fasting because of benefits it brings along. Probably just like our brain clears trash during sleep ,putting stomach on sleep for a while cleans the toxic material from within it.

Sharing a painting made and shared by my younger son from Karachi. His first painting with acrylic paint gifted by his best friends on his birthday. He has good art skills as i shared some of his arts in my far previous post few years ago .

Favorite characters from one of his anime show ,i found it quite nice actually specially shading and expressions (though i know nothing about paining lol)

another he had shared few weeks ago

now some smiles of nature from my little garden

sight of my neem tree fills me with joy and gratitude always

after three months construction work when we saw garden suffering under various burdens it was hard to imagine that it will get his life back within few "caring" months . Thanks to God and thanks to sweet hubby who loves gardening so much and enjoys having beauty of Nature close by !
Thanks for bearing with me dear people !
see you soon .
keep being kind to yourself and all around you!
blessings!

  2. Your son's art is very good! I recognized the anime influence right away. That is so popular among young people for quite a few years now. I'm glad that yogurt is helping your stomach issues. Blessings to you all during Ramadan!

  4. I like your son's art - but most I like that he is such a loyal son and so close to you :) Fasting is something I have tried but dislike, I like to be in control of my body I suppose! some people at my workplace observe Ramadan/fasting - one girl does not even take any water.,I notice they are irritable during this time ! I don't blame them :)

    1. precious Betty thank you for the beautiful comment!
first about my son ,i don't know whether he is close to me or not but i raised them closed to me until they had to leave so at my part i was a good mother always present to their each single demand of attention or of any other kind such as being game partner whether board game or badminton at our front yard :) always encouraged to share their heart and respond without judging them . my eldest son was more friendly as compared to younger one but thanks to God that he stays in touch and keep us updated about his life at university .
our fasting is for 15 hours and without any drink or water yes .
it is hard but not if one is at healthy and fit and not much old or under any kind of stress . if the focus is pleasing Maker or feeling close to Him or only improvement in health or body fasting is good . we live in hotter part of land and high temps make fasting really challenging but still there are many people who keep fasting for whole moth by the grace of lord . i was hardly as lucky . i remember due to my extremely poor health condition i was dizzy without fast even at my youth . and always behind in fasting count from my cousins :)
my average fasting can be 16 per month for life time i guess .
yogurt has done kind of miracle for me which is ,beyond my comprehension, it is letting me have better mental health and fasting without having any horrible headaches .
my younger son's exams are very close and i have to help him in studies too so i can feel how intense and irritating things can be if one has to do much while fasting .

  9. thank you dear Margaret
my son has skills to draw better but lack of time is big odd when his studies are intense .
i feel regret why i could not take yogurt earlier ,it might have helped to do better in many ways but as i mentioned my stomach remained kind of protester and rebel against all good types of food for so long unfortunately .even thought of yogurt would made me feel yukies
just like my late mother and me hubby has great affection for plants and flowers actually . i remember when i visit my in laws house as teenage .i found many flowering plants in their yard .all were planted by my would be husband back then ,no one else had such appetite for plantation among them .
i help in watering or cleaning only :)

  12. your son's art looks really good. I always like to see when your flowers bloom. We have had too many snow storms up here in the mountains to see any spring blooms yet but I think we will go down the mountain next week and visit areas where wildflower blooms have been amazing this year in California because of all the rain.

  13. thank you dear Sandy ,my son has been receiving quite an appreciation for his art at universities these days which he do to help his friends who are taking art classes :)

    1. that's great about your son and his art. We had some rain , hardly any snow and the sun is out. weather reports indicate there atmospheric river storms that brought all the blizzards and snow is over...as much as they can predict. Now for the big melt. I'm very happy - i'll get to see some great wildflower blooms hopefully.
