My younger son celebrated his 21st birthday with his close friends at his university Campus .He shared some photos of his special day. It was satisfactory to see him having nice birthday with friends. I think i did not mention that my son has moved to hostel last year because the rented house began to show some issues which he found hard to handle alone. We all suggested him his eldest brother particularly that hostel is better option for students due to all facilities available including cleaning service ,washing machine and kitchen supplies. He agreed and moved to the hostel where he had stayed during his first semester .He told that his birthday was celebrated twice once with university friends and the secondly with hostel mates . We wish nd prayed for his well being and good in future along all the youngster moving throughout the world amen!
after dining my son went to TDF a place that offers relaxing environment for creative people ,my son and his friend created this lovely drawing which i loved because the serenity it reflects and the lush moon :)
Happy birthday to your lovely son
ReplyDeletethank you dear Christine
DeleteWhat a beautiful cake and painting! Happy Birthday to your son. It looks like he is thriving at university and has lots of friends, which is good!
ReplyDeleteCakes are fun part of the birthdays dear Debra ,it saddens me a little that my eldest son skips cake on his birthdays now due to being health conscious .
Deletei used to have little sweet or cake till some years back all my life but only occasionally because i wasn't much sweet lover at all but all my kids don't like deserts at all and hardly enjoy cake on birthdays too
I so enjoyed the post! It's interesting to read about the hostel. Those seem to be very popular in Korea too..for students. Such wonderful artwork. And what colorful flowers. Wow, 21! Exciting time for him. Wishing your sons all the best in their studies.
ReplyDeletethanks dear Ellie
Deletetrue about hostel ,when my eldest son moved to Karachi he chose hostel because it is easy than private house which demands lots of attention and time.
he spent all four years of his student life in hostel .
actually we supported his idea of renting house more because we could visit him once in a while and could stay together .but it did not work for him because his studies are tough and university timing is six hours almost daily so he got no time to deal with other house issues
young age is exciting just like you are riding accelerator and with moving upwards views you find more thrilling and enthusiastic .
my younger son has gift of art and has been doing drawing since he was little in primary school .at university he helps art friends and tells that they wonder why he chose science rather than art :)
Lovely family. Happy birthday to your son. When I became a parent, I discovered that their birthdays were important part of my own life.
ReplyDeletethanks for taking time and trying to leave comment dear Susan ,it happens to me most of the time that when i get back to blogs to check response can't find my comment published there .it take quite time actually to try again as you know i like writing more words to friends .
Deleteno doubt children add meaning to life and make our life purposeful (my opinion) so for devoted moms birthdays of their children matter so much specially because of all the memories they bring along regarding upbringing days of them :)
I am not sure my comment was published. anyway, happy birthday to your son. Beautiful family.
ReplyDeletei really appreciate you took time and tried to affirm the comment my friend!

ReplyDeletelife is enchanting journey dear Marie the more we ponder the astonishing it seems .
Deletetime is called illusion but we see God has put us n this web to survive and thrive which is impossible if we ignore time .
to me time looks like a zigzag path where when i look back i can see whole story of life with all ups and owns .this is indefinable feeling but makes sense .
i am grateful i could meet you and and many other kind blogging friends dear Marie and could share glimpses of my heart and world with you and could be able to peak into your worlds as well .such a blessing for person like me who stays at home mostly

Happy belated birthday to our son. What a lovely group of young people enjoying time together. The flowers are just beautiful. Have a very nice day today.
ReplyDeleteBelated 🎂 wishes to your son, Baili, and how wonderful that he had two celebration with friends and hostel mates. Where he is living sounds like a better economical choice for students. Thanks for sharing the photos of this happy celebration. Also, the flowers in your yard are wonderful to see as there are none here now and not for many months to come.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your precious son, Baili! It looks like he had a wonderful birthday celebration with very special friends too, and thankful he has found a better living situation. Your flowers are glorious, I know they bring smiles to your heart - they brought smiles to mine seeing them! Your roses are so beautiful! Enjoy the spring weather - today we are getting some snow here :)
ReplyDeleteThanks dear Marilyn ❤
ReplyDeleteNo doubt heart of parents feel gratitude when children are surviving and thriving while being away from them.i pay gratitude in every breath i take during awaken part of the day!
And pray that May God continue to be kind for all of us amen!
Indeed it was relief when he moved to the hostel because at rented house he had do lot for himself and than he had to keep clean and tidy which was hard to keep up with tough routine as student.
Surly these flowers uplift my soul everyday my friend. Nature is among prioritise and when they bloom I consider them as smile of God ❤
Really thankful for His grace on his little men!
Many happy birthday wishes for your son.
ReplyDeleteLovely photographs you've shared of his birthday celebrations.
I always enjoy seeing your garden blooms, they do look nice and colourful.
My good wishes for a happy new month of March.
All the best Jan
Heartfelt thanks for kindest wishes dear Jan!
DeleteSecond son already 21. Happy birthday to him. So good as a parent to see him doing good and having fun and good friends. Enjoyed seeing and reading this. Hope all is well in your world. I'm still not blogging much. I do FB and instagram more but really intend to get back to blogging more.
ReplyDeleteIndeed it is satisfactory to see children having nice times in life away from home dear Sandy!
DeleteI hope you will get back to blogging when you will feel like it: )
Missing you though!
It looks like your son is having a fabulous birthday party :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty blooms :-)
Thanks dear Cheri
DeleteMy sons are also skinny. 😊 I am always trying to feed them!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful birthday party. It is good to see them enjoying themselves and having good lives.
💕
Dear Sandi I feel new generation has poor eating habits due less physical activity and availability of toxic fast food. My younger son had some serious health issue for which he had been injected for three years. He got little better afterwards thankfully but since he is away from home he is eating carbs hardly and certain food frequently. Which effecting his health. At home he would hide his food in dryer because I would insist but he wouldn't eat due lack of appetite. I keep asking him to take great care but kids are carefree creatures
DeleteParabéns pelo aniversário do seu filho. Está um bonito rapaz. Que seja feliz e que a família seja feliz com ele.
ReplyDeleteUma boa semana.
Um beijo.
Hello Baili, many happy returns to your son. Don't worry, my youngest son is skinny too - he will be athletic perhaps. I read somewhere that the human brain is still developing at age 21, he's already very clever but just imagine, there is more to come! The pictures are lovely, he looks so lovely and there is a good auro of kindness around his friends, he is among good people I think. Betty
ReplyDeleteheartfelt thanks for beautiful words dear Betty !!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletebravo for your son who is athlete by the grace of god!
i had great fondness for athletics although we have only one playground here still i was lucky that my eldest son could play football there with friends .then internet and computer ruined everything and kids adopted sedentary lifestyle sadly .by younger son played but very little.his health was lot good when he was home but he has skipped the bread in meals mostly and therefore getting skinny .but active thankfully he is and doing good in academic and social life by the grace of God!
There are worse things in the world than being skinny, Baili! Your son is surrounded by love and friendship and is pursuing his studies. What a wonderful time in life for him. May your son be showered with God's blessings, my dear friend!
ReplyDeletea heartfelt thanks for comforting sweet words dear Louise
ReplyDeletei too hope and pray same !
may God fulfill dreams of all who struggle for doing something positive in life
