The Transformation ( my poem)

For ages confined in the "cage of boy"

I relied on the "food " of timely pleasures so long

Disillusioned by satisfactions  though "heart" believed were wrong

I could hear the whisper of my sore soul buried below "illusions"

Inspiring  me to breakthrough idleness and confusion

Something inside kept part of me on toes

Knowing though  paths ahead full of thorns then rose

Heartbroken , exhausted by long innate fight

I unburdened my soul and ask to take her flight

I surrendered to my longing for freedom to Higher view of life

With tool of my "desire"  i broke lock of Cage

And let" arise" and settle higher  soul the sage

Leaving behind all that kept me astray and low

Unyielding ,bleak "self " and coarse  ego

No more pressures and congestion of fixed existence

Every dimension is mine now without clue of distance

Sometimes i feel ,i am melting into silvery smoke

Disappearing into the vastness of space

Dissolving into the body of "Oneness" to join the "significant glow"

It is enchanting to break the shell  be "drop" in Divine flow

Across the set boundaries of  time and matter

Roaming liberatingly in the veins of endless "Whole"

I feel serene like a child who eventually got "Home"

Holding the hand of mother who feels safe and calm

For seeing from the mother's lap everything looks "akin"

The only difference is made by the "body's selfish desire

Once you leave this cage your soul dwell higher

The height that will turn you into" Water " from fire

    1. thank you dear Dorothy ,yes it is written by me and if i will share from another poet i will mention it to attribute him or her . i wonder if you remember or not that i have been posting more of my English poetry on my blog in past though since few years the i probably was stuck in writer's block ,even this took more than hour to write because i was trying to write it consciously .more good are those that come to mind spontaneously ,effortless to write and fluent to read. but i could not wait more so wrote this one to speak my heart :)

  14. Baili, this poem is exquisite!

This beautiful line speaks to what I believe, that we're taken into God's endless heart, and we are healed of all we have suffered on earth. I think God's heart is full of compassion, mercy, love, and forgiveness for us. Your poem is filled with hope and joy and serenity. Thank you for sharing it with us. I'll be back tomorrow to catch up with your posts. Much love to you!

    1. how can i find such perfect words to speak my heart dear Louise .whatever you said here my friend is indeed voice of my heart as well and i feel that we all are existing within Him though not allowed to witness Him directly so "game of life " can be played with divine rules set by Him because this is the basic principle of it "finding Him through given senses and gifted wisdom as humans" .but eventually He will reveal Himself to us once we cross this bridge and approach to final destination .Suffering of this life will turn into eternal happiness for those who tried to "feel" Him here and kept in mind this "feeling" while thinking and acting in this world .
dear Precious friend you are in my thoughts and prayers all the time .May your health recovers asap amen!!!!!

  18. Well ...wow!! What you wrote is so deep and beautiful...or high and light and airy - wow. You kind of write how I feel at times but the ego is a fighter and I just try to remember it actually has no "substance" at all compared to the light that we are. i love this post.

  19. even according to science we live dual life dear Sandy .One within body as chemical actions and reactions and second spiritual one by soul who though belong to body yet is engage in higher living ,desperate to find it's origin roaming here and there within the universe pondering on reasons behind everything curious and innocent in the search of divine .
but if our physical desires dominate us we loose balance which weaken our soul ,soul feels lost and restless ,protests for her rights to live ,tries hard to fight our ego and liberate itself from it .but for the redemption she need a key ,key of our wish to give our soul her right and key to will power to sustain this decision forever .
you might have heard or read that all that we see is delusion and the actual "reality " in which we are left to exist is blurred by our senses or we are not allowed to see it for now . whatever the reality is we must believe in our heart and what we actually feel because may be this is actually the gift given to those who live by soul rather than body ..
thank you for uplifting words my friend!
