Jahangir Park Visit, A Walk Through Bahria Town And Salute To A Pakistani Tourist Guide In UAE!

Hello Sweet People!

Hope sharing your sweetness with everyone around and making your surroundings a beautiful place for this world!

Our weather is getting hotter quickly which is expected with the start of the May . I don’t know I should be grateful or not for the recent snowfall, hail storms and heavy rains in most parts of the country which bring some relief to our southern region for few days. Such weather here is unlikely in this period of time except light rains in northern part until monsoon season arrives. Climate change is causing damage to people and places not prepared for such intensity of the weather. When roof or house collapse and people get injured or die it takes away the sense of joy delivered by better and less hot days

Hubby and me are following news regularly since the war started, we are hoping for both countries will continue to prefer to be on table for peace talks instead of fighting in the battlefield which brings only destruction to humanity and leaves scars that stay for decades.

I feel encouraged how common people want to live in peace with each other. Even their brains are being washed through media and social media still most of the people stay aware of the fact that war is not the way to bring peace. It’s against law of attraction and anything that opposes nature’s laws causes suffering and chaos only.

I wish there was a way for common people to choose between war and peace instead few people in power, because they can think only for themselves . I hope in  far future things will change for the better 🤞

Thank you dear friends for your support and love and heartfelt comments on my previous post! I was missing my lush hilly village and our hilltop home which would provide a brief overview of valley! And this poem was created through nostalgia to relive the past 🥰

In the news sometimes there is a tiny news like a bloom among thorns that lightens up the spirit. Today it was about a Pakistani man who rescued a lady suffering from heart attack during climbing the high stare case  Ras Ul Khaimah stairLink here in UAE . He walked three hours on narrow exposed terrain to reach nearest emergency center while carrying that Filipino woman on  his back !  This melts my heart with utter delight and gratitude, not only because the man belongs to our country Pakistan but to realise that no matter how much darkness is there, light still finds its way to brighten our souls with faith in goodness 🥹🙏 . I  think not just Pakistani people but whole humanity feels proud of what Faisal Shamani did 👍🥹♥️

Today sharing few photos of our trip to Karachi in January dear friends. One day when eldest son was busy with office work, hubby and me along with both of our younger sons visited a huge park  situated in the centre of the city . Though it was disappointing to see that zoo of the park had lost most of its wildlife sadly due to lack of funding and careless management. Yet it was beautiful because of having old tree in abundance and long tranquil trails that add natural element when we enter the park .hope you will find them enjoyable because I loved strolling around.

A fresh environment welcomed us which was a pleasant surprise because outside the park life is crazy. Karachi is densely populated city eighteen million people, and it is called mini Pakistan because people from all corners come here for the sake of job opportunities.  It creates many challenges among which noise pollution is one thing. This gorgeous and lush park stands within the heart of the city and offers people lost in tough routine of life a relaxing environment to find a peace of mind and breathe in the nature for a while.

I saw this lovely sight before entering the park life, in Karachi flocks of pigeons can be seen on some places where people are too generous and drop these beautiful birds some foods, grains or seeds , the child on the left in the picture is with his father and I saw him spread handful of grains before pigeons, there were other signs that people left something to eat for the birds , I found it sweet and touching ♥️
We had come to the park after breakfast and it was quite early . Park had some people, families and children enjoying the calming breeze and soothing views. Like most of the big cities people start day late in Karachi so when we left we noticed that visitors have started to come in groups. I assume park might remain packed in evening time but small amount of people come and go during the day except weekends when it overflows.

Despite the zoo was closed wandering through serene pathways was lovely experience

For me biggest attraction was the old trees with wide thick trunks 🥹 I just loved looking at them and taking pictures,i wish there were signboards mentioning their age. Most of the trees seemed old and had special appeal throughout the widespread park. I wanted to explore more but park was huge and kids started to whine about being late to their other activities. It’s sad new generation is missing their regular contact and relationship with Nature ! Nature is main source for our mental and physical wellbeing and it scares me how quickly people are getting away from nature!

Walking through such places brings back memories of my hometown, hills ,stream, fields and gardens of  fruits, and I feel grateful that in my memories my village is still alive 🙏🥹

I loved the display of colourful umbrellas above, we see such stunning views in Murree hill station where rain is unpredictable and umbrellas can be needed anytime by the tourists, but here in Karachi where rain is not frequent event such exhibition is totally for the  aesthetic pleasure of visitors

This lone fountain not so far from the entrance was adding glory to the park’s beauty

Children playing on the play area sounded lovely like the chirping birds on the trees

This photo and all below are taken in the Bahria Town where we moved to have Gabi , one evening when we were returning to our residence after grocery,I spotted this pretty bird picking food from the grass , it was such happy surprise as I took many shots excitingly 🥰

Can you guess the name of this bird

One day hubby and me got golden chance to get along with our elder son (one studying in university) . Bahria town is huge model town , for some unknown reason larger part of this beautifully planned city is empty, we decided to take a walk through the streets, when we asked to elder son to join he agreed surprisingly, on the way I took many pictures to seize the moments spent in this beautiful calm frozen town.

We saw This gorgeous tree with stunning red leaves on the way through the town in many gardens. Hubby picked up one of its fruit fallen on ground and broke to find out , he then told its almond tree, it was my first time I saw almond tree. We use almonds but never knew how it looked like,it’s very beautiful ♥️

Few gardens were grown by colonies and only people belong to them were allowed to enjoy them

All city buildings had lines of various trees around them,it gives heart a joy to see nature peaking through jungle of cement ,I wish all towns were privileged with such luxury 🥹

Sometimes our son’s phone would chim with text and he would step away to respond, new generation needs to learn that it’s okay to stay still for a while ☺️

                                                                           Ah. gorgeous

Charming houses lined up in the both sides of the town when pass through private narrow roads

I asked son to walk ahead so I can take photo , my family get annoyed sometimes when I take lots of photos but only when place is so nice and worth it 🥰

Same request I made to hubby and his support is unconditional always which is greatly appreciated ♥️

Dear friends big thanks for being with me till the end 🙏♥️
Your support means lot to me!
I will take leave now . Please stay healthy and safe ,God Bless You all 🙏♥️
