Hey Sweet Hearts 🥰
Hope all are creating best of what you have at the moment with faith and strength of undefeated Hope 🥰
I pay thanks for everyday I am given , every blessing I have because I believe that including my life everything is a gift 🙏
Four days ago when I went to sleep while reciting some comforting holy verses I had no idea that next day when I will wake up I won’t be able to walk. No not some worst thing happened thankfully 😅
When I tried to walk I felt that sole of my left foot was aching. I walked on my right foot for chair . When I observed I saw few dim , pinkish spots appeared on sole. I felt something was wrong with place above my left heel as well. There were also few blisters like burns. Any we went to the skin doctor immediately who gave some medicine. After taking the medication I got cold fever at night. Hubby gave me common fever tablets as additional medicine but fever returned after three hours. Hubby guessed that may blisters were not the skin issue at all so he took me to the physician who examined carefully and gave some medication. Today when fever was on hold I checked online about such infections and one phrase Peripheral Neuropathy led to read further about Posterpetic Nuralgia and then Shingles . Reading about Shingles revealed that almost half population of the world is infected with this disease. We all get through chickenpox in childhood mostly. According to this article virus stays in your body rest of your life after recovering and reactivate in people with weak immune systems years later causing Shingles. Good thing that disease can be vaccinated two doses Shingrix or Zoster which is not available in our country though ☹️
I am feeling better today and I hope I will be able to walk in some days.
Today after going through some tough days talking to eldest son on video call was really healing experience 🥹🙏🥰
Now some brighter moments to share that are keeping me happy with their joyful memories ☺️
Thank you for being with me friends 🥰 and heartfelt thanks for your warm support always 🙏♥️ your kindness is my strength 🥰

I'm so sorry for your health struggles, shingles is so very painful! Hoping and praying that the medicine will work soon, and that you will be healed up. Beautiful pictures of your day at the park with such beautiful pictures, and I loved the one of you and your husband on the bench. Your paintings that you found are darling as well, and I love the quote with the caterpillar! Praying you have better days ahead!
ReplyDeleteHeartfelt thanks for your kind words dear Marilyn 🥰
DeleteBy the grace of God it’s just third day of the medication and difference is being obvious,I though am still unable to get my left foot on the ground properly but I can walk a little on my heel. Blisters have started shrinking thankfully.many thanks for good wishes 🥰🙏
Thanks for appreciating cute paintings,I really liked them at first glance ☺️
Sorry to hear about your feet problems and fever! The blisters do suggest an outbreak of shingles? Whatever the issue is, I hope it clears up soon and does not return! Thanks for sharing such lovely photos of the beautiful park you visited!
ReplyDeletePrecious friend Debra, thank you for asking, I can’t say with certainty but reading the article and pondering on symptoms makes me think of this .
DeleteThe medicine prescribed by second doctor worked better thankfully and things are getting positive. Strength of the fever is broken and it appears after longer break
I hope the shingles have lessened. I have heard they are extremely painful. I will keep good thoughts for you.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks dear Emma 🥰
DeleteOh Baili, how our lives can change from one day to the next. You are my 2nd blogging friend to experience sudden health changes this week. I pray you will not suffer too much and will be able to walk soon.
ReplyDeleteThere has been a huge campaign here for seniors to take the vaccine for the shingles vaccine but I haven't been able to get myself to take it - yet.
Your photos and memories of Islamabad will continue to sustain you until you are able to return there. Take care dear Baili. God bless.
Thank you dear Joyful for very kind words 🥰🙏
DeleteOh I am sorry that your friend fell ill suddenly, I hope and pray she or he will get well soon by the grace of God🙏
I am sorry if medicine has dimmed my head and I am unable to remember the place you live .i think it’s some part of America right? I am wondering if campaign was about spreading awareness about shingles vaccination or what?
Because according to google it’s available there . I hope that you will get your vaccination as soon as possible my dear friend ☺️
Thanks for liking photos and paintings dear Joyful, little things in life are easy to get pleasure from 🤗
God bless you and yours ♥️🙏
Hi Baili, yes my dear your memory is correct. I live in North America but I live in Canada not the USA. I live in a city called Vancouver on the west coast of Canada. If you would like to see photos you can search on my blog for "Vancouver" or do a google search. It's a pretty city. There wasn't a campaign as such but a lot of advertising on television and whenever I went to the doctor or the pharmacist over these past many years there has often been a mention of the shingles vaccine. In fact, I also know a few people who developed shingles and it sounded like a nightmare. I really should make plans to get the vaccine as I think the government even pays for it right now for certain age groups. I'll have to look into it a bit more. Enjoy your day. I'm hoping to get to the annual fair. I haven't been for several years.
DeleteI hope your medical issues are soon resolved.
ReplyDeleteThey have started to by the grace of God dear Kathy, thanks
DeleteI've had shingles. they can be painful. You just have to let shingles go as they are in control.
ReplyDeleteOh sorry dear Red that you too suffered through such awful thing!
DeleteI agree that when disease is on you have to let it pass and don’t force yourself to move or work. Hubby’s presence at home helped in that regard immensely to be honest .he wouldn’t let do anything at all.but in such extreme heat and humidity seeing him busy in household is painful as well ☹️😔
glad you are feeling better
ReplyDeleteBaili, I have known people who had shingles and it was so painful. I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful. Such a lovely area and great memories made there.
Dear Marie 🥰
DeleteI am having shingles for the first time in my life so it’s not just new experience but painful as well. I feel more uncomfortable when I have to be still unwillingly 😞
Glad you liked images 🤗♥️
Oh, how scary. I hope you feel better soon. It seems to take a while for doctors to figure out the right diagnosis sometimes. Thanks for the post. I love the paintings. All the best to your health and adventures this August 💛🌻💛🌻💛🌻
ReplyDeleteDear Ellie 🥰
ReplyDeleteActually we visited skin specialist first but fever followed next day and we have to visit physician who’s treatment appeared more effective thankfully.
Wishing you love , goodness friend 🥰
Speedy recovery from those Shingles, Baili. The photos are beautiful, always a pleasure to see you and your husband and your son too.
ReplyDeleteWe have injections down here against Shingles and many people have it. My husband and I never had chicken pox as children.
Thanks dear Margaret 🥰
DeleteHope you and your husband will be vaccinated soon
Look at your happy son! His smiles makes me happy too.
ReplyDeleteI like the clothes in the photo with all the people, the long shirts and dresses.
I am sorry to hear about the (possibly) Shingles. The good thing about that is it goes away after a while! My husband had it a few years ago- in his eye! He had to see a specialist, but it all turned out okay and he did not have any longterm effects.
Dear Sandi 🥰
DeleteHeartfelt thanks for your sweet words ☺️
I am sorry your husband went through this pain as well. This is grace of God that his disease wasn’t severe 🙏
Hope you recover soon, dear baili.
ReplyDeleteAmen, thank you dear Pedro ☺️
DeleteOhh shingles are not fun at all. I have a healing candle going for you. Blessings my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteThank you from the bottom of my heart dear Nichole 🥰♥️
DeleteHello Baili, Im sorry you are suffering with shingles, I had it once and I know it is really unpleasant but hopefully will be gone soon, the foot is a difficult place to have it though. I like the painting you chose of the green leaves, like you I enjoy having lots of green around me :) Betty
ReplyDeleteDear Betty 🥰
ReplyDeleteSorry you too had this awful experience!
I just wish if it wasn’t my feet 😂😭
Oh I feel happy you liked my choice, yes green is mighty sign for life and it’s growth 🥹♥️♥️♥️
I'm so sorry to hear about your sudden health issue. It's a frightening experience to wake up with something so debilitating and mysterious. I'm glad you were proactive about seeking medical attention and doing your own research; it sounds like you're on the right track to finding answers and healing. It's a good reminder of how our bodies can sometimes be unpredictable, and how important it is to listen to them.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful that you have such beautiful memories of your trip to Islamabad to keep your spirits up. The photos are stunning, and you've captured the serene beauty of the parks so well. I especially love the shot of the two older men walking by, it adds such a poignant, human element to the scene. It's clear that you find beauty in the small details, and that's a special gift. I hope you continue to heal and that your walks are joyful again soon.
Precious friend Melody 🥰
DeleteHeartfelt thanks for your heartwarming words always ☺️ it so sweet of you to go to the detail and share your beautiful thoughts on them 🥹🥰
It Gives my tiny effort meaning 🥰🥹
By the grace of God I am feeling better enough to start walking again slowly 🥹🙏
Sending you heartfelt best wishes and love 🥹♥️
Oh dear, I do wish you well as you recover from Shingles.
ReplyDeleteHere in the UK we do have injections, it's available on the NHS for all adults turning 65, those aged 70 to 79 and those aged 50 and over with a severely weakened immune system. It's probably different in other countries.
The photographs you've share here are beautiful.
My very good wishes, be well soon.
All the best Jan
Big thanks precious friend Jan for your lovely and supportive words 🥹🥰
DeleteI am grateful that I have started to recover and feeling lot better by grace of God.
How nice your country has such an impressive vaccination program for the possible victims of this disease 👍
This is incredibly appreciable 👍
Here I doubt if we have such a thing because no doctor mentioned it ever.though vaccination for chickenpox is available before the right after the birth of babies thankfully 🥰
Hugs and best wishes 🥰♥️
I am sorry to hear that you have been feeling unwell, I hope you feel better soon.

xo
Thank you dear Amalia for kind words 🥰
ReplyDeleteSending best wishes to you as well 🙏
Baili, I am late in catching up with blog reading, my friend, as we were traveling and having an enjoyable adventure. But, reading about your experience with shingles was very upsetting and I do hope by this time that the blisters have gone and you can walk without pain. It is good that your husband acted quickly to seek medical aid. We have had both of the vaccines you mentioned and thankfully have never had an incident. As always, I enjoyed seeing your photos.
ReplyDeleteOh, Baili! Shinges! I remember how my Great Uncle Chester suffered with it when I was a small child. I'm sorry that you can't access Shingrix or Zoster in your country. If you get a chance to visit your son in the UK, perhaps you could arrange for the vaccinations there. I had mine as soon as I was eligible. I loved each of your photos of Islamabad ~ so lovely! But I did laugh about you making your son turn his legs around. 😂 You'll always be his mother. Your hubby takes such good care of you! Much love to you both!
