Peripheral Neuropathy ,Sudden Blisters And Glimpses Of Recent Trip To Islamabad

Hey Sweet Hearts 🥰

Hope all are creating best of what you have at the moment with faith and strength of undefeated Hope 🥰

I pay thanks for everyday I am given , every blessing I have because I believe that including my life everything is a gift 🙏

Four days ago when I went to sleep while reciting some comforting holy verses I had no idea that next day when I will wake up I won’t be able to walk. No not some worst thing happened thankfully 😅

When I tried to walk I felt that sole of my left foot was aching. I walked on my right foot for chair . When I observed I saw few dim , pinkish spots appeared on sole. I felt something was wrong with place above my left heel as well. There were also few blisters like burns. Any we went to the skin doctor immediately who gave some medicine. After taking the medication I  got cold fever at night. Hubby gave me common fever tablets as additional medicine but fever returned after three hours. Hubby guessed that may blisters were not the skin issue at all so he took me to the physician who examined carefully and gave some medication. Today when fever was on hold I checked online about such infections and one phrase  Peripheral Neuropathy  led to read further  about Posterpetic Nuralgia and  then Shingles . Reading about Shingles revealed that almost half population of the world is infected with this disease. We all get through chickenpox in childhood mostly. According to this article virus stays in your body rest of your life after recovering and reactivate in people with weak immune systems years later causing Shingles. Good thing that disease can be vaccinated two doses Shingrix or Zoster which is not available in our country though ☹️

I am feeling better today and I hope I will be able to walk in some days.

Today after going through some tough days talking to eldest son on video call was really healing experience 🥹🙏🥰

Now some brighter moments to share that are keeping me happy with their joyful memories ☺️

Fatima Jinnah Park Islamabad where we walked few times ,this stunning baradari behind us invites visitors to snap some shots and provide shelter in sudden downpour

After walk visitors sit to dry relax and enjoy the lush scenery

Shakarpariyan Monument  Park is divided two beautiful parts,  both part give fair and panoramic view of the capital city ,monument standing tall behind reflects unity and diversity of  provinces

An elegant framework of walls surrounding this part of the park provides visitors a sitting place to view the park gardens below and city roads glowing at night

Many youngsters were sitting by crossing the legs outwardly ,but when I turned and saw mine doing so I asked him to turn his legs inward immediately

A pleasing walk in Fatima Jinnah park , I absolutely loved seeing sunset there  ,two old men walking by added more meaning and beauty to my click !

Rawal lake view park entrance road provides a one kilometre walk to the park

Pleasant weather adds strength and richness to the memories ,I will remember that gorgeous day for long I am sure

Beautiful pictures of your day at the park with such beautiful pictures, and I loved the one of you and your husband on the bench. Your paintings that you found are darling as well, and I love the quote with the caterpillar! Praying you have better days ahead!

  2. Sorry to hear about your feet problems and fever! The blisters do suggest an outbreak of shingles? Whatever the issue is, I hope it clears up soon and does not return! Thanks for sharing such lovely photos of the beautiful park you visited!

  4. Oh Baili, how our lives can change from one day to the next. You are my 2nd blogging friend to experience sudden health changes this week. I pray you will not suffer too much and will be able to walk soon.
There has been a huge campaign here for seniors to take the vaccine for the shingles vaccine but I haven't been able to get myself to take it - yet.

Your photos and memories of Islamabad will continue to sustain you until you are able to return there. Take care dear Baili. God bless.

I am sorry if medicine has dimmed my head and I am unable to remember the place you live .i think it’s some part of America right? I am wondering if campaign was about spreading awareness about shingles vaccination or what?
Because according to google it’s available there . I hope that you will get your vaccination as soon as possible my dear friend ☺️

    2. Hi Baili, yes my dear your memory is correct. I live in North America but I live in Canada not the USA. I live in a city called Vancouver on the west coast of Canada. If you would like to see photos you can search on my blog for "Vancouver" or do a google search. It's a pretty city. There wasn't a campaign as such but a lot of advertising on television and whenever I went to the doctor or the pharmacist over these past many years there has often been a mention of the shingles vaccine. In fact, I also know a few people who developed shingles and it sounded like a nightmare. I really should make plans to get the vaccine as I think the government even pays for it right now for certain age groups. I'll have to look into it a bit more. Enjoy your day. I'm hoping to get to the annual fair. I haven't been for several years.

  6. I've had shingles. they can be painful. You just have to let shingles go as they are in control.

    1. Oh sorry dear Red that you too suffered through such awful thing!
I agree that when disease is on you have to let it pass and don’t force yourself to move or work. Hubby’s presence at home helped in that regard immensely to be honest .he wouldn’t let do anything at all.but in such extreme heat and humidity seeing him busy in household is painful as well ☹️😔

  11. Look at your happy son! His smiles makes me happy too.

I like the clothes in the photo with all the people, the long shirts and dresses.

I am sorry to hear about the (possibly) Shingles. The good thing about that is it goes away after a while! My husband had it a few years ago- in his eye! He had to see a specialist, but it all turned out okay and he did not have any longterm effects.
