Both Sides Of The Picture Good And Bad

Hello precious friends ♥️

Hope you all are doing great by the grace of God!

Our weather has been so upsetting lately.Lots of sandstorms daily almost. Sometimes we clean up mess done by earlier one and at evening or night second spell of sandy winds start and everything I mean literally everything hides under the thick layer of sand 😡😭

On positive note our younger son has come to spend two weeks with us from Karachi which is healing to the aching heart of the mother 🥹🙏

A week ago our youngest son lost his phone while riding his motorbike to the home. It was quite expensive one (Samsung 22) so we were sad. But we youngest son was sad because phone had important things and files. Hubby went with son to look for the phone in the way he passed but found nothing after one and half  hour. We assumed that phone was gone now. Meanwhile youngest son called to one of his friends from his father’s phone. His friend came which was appreciated as it was midnight . Both of the boys tried to locate the phone location through google maps which was not appearing clearly due weak internet. Hubby kept trying to call on missing phone . And it was then that phone rang and someone informed youngest son that they have found his phone on the road around 9pm and trying to reach but signal is not working. Both boys left in the hurry to collect phone . Hubby decided to follow them as it was midnight and little unsafe for kids to go to the strangers. Anyway these were luckily good men with good heart thankfully🙏👍 hubby and kids walk with them to the restaurant and offered pizza treat and drinks. This was gesture of appreciation in return for their favour. For me it was another miracle 🥹🥰🙏

Knowing that world bears still good people strengthens my faith in Divine 🥹🤗!

Sharing with you all these beautiful paintings which I have framed finally 🥰🤗♥️

Dear blog friend Debra has sent me this wonderful painting done by herself few years ago. But I really couldn’t understand why I remained unable to find it in all these years unfortunately. I remember I had kept it in thick heavy book of  encyclopaedia but it wasn’t there when I looked for it after somedays surprisingly.. I ,we both left no stone unturned within the house but no clue. It happened often that in my spare time I would open encyclopaedia and review each page carefully as if I missed something. Then finally I found picture of this painting in google photos account and we decided to print it. The framing man framed the sharp colour copy instead of original light coloured one. But I think I can replace it later.

I am already Stunned by the beauty and richness of Debra’s art 👌🥰👍 it’s amazing😍

We have waited for eldest son so we can ask him to send Debra a little gift from me as token of gratitude,so I was happy to see on her blog that she has received the package of dates 🙏🥰 eldest son has also added this lovely card in the package which was so nice of him 🥹🙏🥰♥️

I took these shots when hubby and younger son hung all these pictures on wall , hubby argued with the frame man for not ironing the handkerchiefs embroidered by Gabi properly but he made excuses as expected. Though it’s much visible in closeup but looks fine in natural light when curtains are removed ♥️

Sue’s gift this cloth painting appeared so beautiful after framing 👍🥰 it’s looking wonderful on front wall of veranda 🤗

Thanks for being with me dear friends 🥰🙏
Our country is going through frightening times as Indian armies have started attacking on different parts of the country.most of drone attacks have been turned down by Pakistan army but people are anxious about situation that what comes next .
We are fine and praying for the peace of the world and now for our own country as well 🙏🥹🙏
Health, peace and happiness to you all and to all loved ones ♥️

  2. Yes, I heard on the news last night about the increased tensions and drone attacks between India and Pakistan. I hope the situation does not escalate and things will calm down without further hostilities!

How wonderful of those guys to return your son's phone! That was very fortunate. We keep so much important information on our phones, don't we.

I'm sorry my original art has hidden itself somewhere among the encyclopedias! Now that you've framed a photo of it instead, maybe the original will show up, LOL -- that's usually how these things work, isn't it?

Yesterday I made a beautiful multigrain loaf with some of your fresh dates in it -- so delicious! I will be eating a slice of this loaf for breakfast every morning for the next week. Thank you again!

    1. dear Debra today about two hours back when we were having some online time with our eldest son he suddenly informed us that according to current notification from CNN India Pakistan borders seized fire until undeclared timeline . we had sigh of relief as our eldest son was asking about the condition and i said please don't get shock if we just disappear from the screen and i said this smilingly and i think he did not smile back but paused silently and looked away .i could only imagine what he went through that moment probably . seize fire seems like a positive sign as leaders of various countries are trying to calm down both sides .

yes such good actions of kindness make us believe that no matter what God knows how to keep balance between good and evil in this world .But i am sure in the theme of creation He did not invent evil willingly but to give variation and progression to His creations . He trusted his Man that he can learn to choose harmless way to exist for which He gave him light of wisdom the most wonderful thing in the universe .but sadly man couldn't carry that load properly. And here comes the strategy of God to keep things in balance without which the world would have lost human specie long long ago otherwise .ooops sorry i lost my track again
so true about finding desired thing right after we buy new one :( i felt so embarrassed honestly and i thought i will find it now and soon but it vanished like i never got it :((( few of other things i lost some times back and it never happened before in my entire life .among those lost things is one of my new dress too .
Oh i am so happy you made dish with those dates dear Debra :) i loved dates when i came here after my marriage and i would eat plenty because they were everywhere in the season and in abundance . but hubby used them in deserts once in a while or put in milk by smashing them as alternative to sugar .
since four to five years it rains while dates are hanging on trees which spoils them and farmers go under tremendous loss .which saddens me as three of my sisters in law own dates garden .they complain how upsetting it has been for them because of rains in delicate times of dates !
thank you too for taking time and sharing thoughts dear Debra !!!

  5. I have been seeing the news about the attacks in your country and hoping you and your family are safe. Sometimes safety seems to be a precarious thing. I hope the conflicts are resolved soon.

Debra's art is stunning! It is lovely that you had all your gifts framed so you can enjoy them whenever you look around.

It must be so frustrating to clean and then have to do it all again ... day after day. I would be exhausted and I'm sure you are too.

    Stay safe, baili.

    1. Dear Jenny India and Pakistan have been left in conflict 75 years ago knowing that the difference between them will make them walk over bare swords . A slight mistake and things get dangerous dramatically.
Despite ceasefire is announced the delicacy of situation is sustained . So as a people of both countries are grateful for recent peace.further proof will be provided after the peace talks between the leadership of both sides on 12th May🤞
You said it beautifully dear Jenny 🥰♥️ yes for sure sake of enjoying their presence around me I wanted to frame them and it’s done thankfully with the help of hubby as always ♥️😊🤗
You gussed correctly that two months of winds and storms are exhausting for me now.specially when I have developed osteoarthritis and moments is not much pleasure like before but a due thing 😇😏😂
I was never lazy but hyperactive.but these days I am discovering my new version, lazy one 😅🤭

  9. Dear Baili,
Oh what a storm, both dust and fate,
Yet miracles knock when hearts await.
    A phone returned, a kind man’s grace—
In midnight's shadow, hope found its place.

    Your son’s warm visit, a mother’s delight,
Outshines the storms that cloud the night.
And framed with love, that painting’s hue—
A gift, a mystery, now found anew.

Through sandy winds and trials spun,
Your faith still shines like morning sun.
Thanks for the tale, so heartfelt and true—
A reminder the world holds kindness too.

And, Dear Baili, I mentioned you on my new post today!

  10. It sounds like you've been through quite a few challenges lately, from the relentless sandstorms to the unsettling loss of your son's phone. But what a beautiful story of how things turned around with the kindness of strangers—it's truly a reminder that there is goodness in the world, even when it seems dark. And how wonderful to have your son visiting, healing the heart with family. The framed paintings are a lovely touch, especially with the sentimental journey of finding the lost artwork. Thank you for sharing these moments, both the struggles and the blessings, with us.

Life for me and most probably for all of us has been mixture of good and bad things.Seems like challenges are permanent part of our existence. I chose the title of the post because I see both side going side by side. Only difference is made through positive perspective I believe. I am grateful that God has blessed us with such approach when makes everything understandable!
Having son visiting heals the aching soul of mother and you put it so beautifully 🥰👍
Wishing you much goodness my friend!

It's always heart warming when we come across good people in this world. I saw the frightening news of fighting between Pakistan and India on the news. I also just heard that they have agreed to ceasefire and I hope that this truce will remain so all can be safe. xx

World has beard so many horrible wars since it’s creation but I believe that as an advanced and civilised society of humanity we must realise that war has brought no good to anyone ever except long lasting suffering and misery along with additional problems for survival. As humans Creator has trusted us by giving us wisdom and therefore our preference should be to take every step under this light!

Yes we have seen the headlines about ceasefire as well and along with whole nation we are paying for peace between both countries 🙏

    1. dear David i fully agree to you that no matter how civilized and educated we have become .it seems hard to defeat our ego above everything which eats up all our good things and leave us devastated with question that when we will learn to get rid of it and live like we were meant to be
we have a saying here that , winning from others is easier job but winning from ourselves and from our blind desires is toughest one .
i believe fight between two or war among two countries consist of egos of both side which make common men suffer most

  16. Serendipitous is what I'd call finding your phones. I have misplaced mine in my house more times that can be counted. When we went on a guided bus tour in Yellowstone Nat'l Park, my husband lost his phone in Montana, didn't realize it until we were in Wyoming. All those photos!

    1. thanks dear Susan for sharing your experience on loosing phone ,i can relate because before i have meditated for years i would lost my small nokia cell phone in the house and hubby and children would find him on unbelievable places like fridge or kitchen cabinet so on lol
thank goodness it doesn't happen now since few years !
i can also relate to you sadness about your hubby's phone loss specially when there were lots of pictures included during fresh trip :((( ,in last winters when i visited my cousin to attend the weddings of her children , on the last day i realized my phone has lost all the images i have taken throughout my two week stay .i was about to shed tears when my cousin's newly married DIL took phone from my hands and fix it within minutes .i was surprised to see all the photos recovered .DIL said that graphic card of my phone card was moved from it;s original place due to some fall (which i did not know about) so she corrected it .I kissed her forehead . she was so intelligent to think about that wasn't she ? :)

First of all … thank you so much for the wonderful comment you left on my latest post. You have an amazing ability to put thoughts and feelings into words. So much kindness flowed through your words … they touched my heart. Thank you dear Baili!
Now, as always, I enjoyed your post. In return, I hope you enjoy …

In Both Sides of the Picture, your story was told,
Of tempests and treasures, both bitter and bold.

Through storms of sand and winds that roar,
Your heart finds peace in blessings more—
A son returned, a phone retrieved,
In kindness shared, your soul believed.

Though dust may hide the world from view,
The light of love still shines right through.
Framed in your home, that painting dear—
A token of grace, now crystal clear.

  25. Baili, first, I have been reading about the warring factions and thank you for letting us know you and your family are safe and hope that continues to be true, my friend.

That was very good news to read about the kindness of strangers who found and returned your son's phone. The same thing happened to my husband a few years ago when he left his phone on a park bench. It was found by a young man who declined a reward, so my husband treated he and his girlfriend to lunch.

Thank you for showing the displays of wall art in your home. The fact that these were done by or sent from friends and loved ones makes them even more special each time you look at them. I agree with your husband that the embroidered handkerchiefs should have been ironed before being framed.

  26. Dear friend Dorothy ♥️

Thanks for your lovely words! They mean lot to me always 🥰

As far we know by the grace of God war suddenly stopped after US president Trump came between both countries. Ceasefire agreement has been announced if I learn it correctly which is more than relief for the people of both sides!

How nice that phone of your husband was similarly returned by some kind hearted person 👍🥰 such rare but beautiful things strengthen our faith in good people in the world undoubtedly ♥️ good to give them treat !🤗
True about frame man my friend, on the other hand such people are paid well for their work but don’t do the job properly which is sad and bad as well. Frame man gave excuses that despite ironing the curves in the cloth due to pull of embroidery threads don’t straighten completely when stretched:(😔

  27. Hello Baili, I have been thinking of you as we see on the news the conflict with India in the Kashmir region... I hope it will be resolved quickly. It is rare thing to find such goodwill that an expensive phone is returned, I am glad for your son and it was lovely that the good samaritans were treated to a pizza :) I was on a train recently when the couple in front left the carriage and I saw his phone in front of me. After some time it rang and it was his partner, I was able to reassure them that I was taking the phone to the transport lost property at the next station and felt glad to have helped. Most of us in the UK have banking apps on our phones and although we have fingerprint recognition there are hackers and it is a worry if one is lost. I think the pictures you have had framed make a lovely display, especially because they are gifts and have been made for you :) Betty

Thank you for sharing your beautiful thoughts with experience ♥️
It’s always a pleasure to learn about how different friends react in such situations instantly. I really appreciate and admire how you helped that couple to get their phone back 🥹🥰♥️
I agree that it’s not easy and we are tested with such easy temptations so often but people with pure heart and strong character never get trapped and instantly imagine themselves in others shoes and try their best for return things don’t belong to them!
Whenever darkness of the world burdens my heart such incidents uplift and enlighten me from within once again and my faith in Divine deepens more 🥹🥰

Yes gifts are special and important. I feel blessed to receive gifts from friends dear Betty.this is rare happening in my life as I have just few school friends who are far away and out of contact though we exchange gifts when meet but it’s rarely.
These framed gifts shine like love ,beauty and joy in my life 🥰🤗♥️
