Hello Sweethearts!
Hope beating on the rhythm of life blissfully!
As you know I stayed with my eldest son Ashan in Airbnb Islamabad for whole January. Meanwhile elder son and hubby joined us for ten days due to office and university. My eldest son chose to say in Islamabad because there is lot to do like good internet which was his priority above everything because of his job. Secondly unlike our small city Islamabad has many other things like good gym ,various places to visit and parks to take walks. He paid quite handsome amount of money for an apartment and rented a car. Despite we all were not together whole time January felt like a beautiful dream to me as well. Before i could realize it a month passed by with blink of an eye and Ahsan left on 30th for London. It was sad and little heartbreaking to let him go once again but i soon composed myself as a mom who prefers happiness of her child on her own. Despite the pain there is a gain that i feel peaceful that my child is living a life that once i dreamed of once!
Ahsan has our full body check up done so he can learn where we both stand physically. Our reports came clean over all except some vitamin deficiencies ,my arthritis (initial stage with minor fracture in left knee) Hubby's sugar on border line which he is taking serious by quitting sugar from his diet completely surprisingly .Unlike me who is reducing it to quite less but still not decided to quit (very bad i know but hey i am away from borderline ,what you say?)
A little mass has been detected in the left side of chest of hubby. Though doctor thinks it might not be bothering but keeping his age in mind she recommended city scan. Eldest son he will take appointment in Karachi's good hospital and will let us know soon.
Regarding my arthritis ,my doctor asked my previous medication list ,checked formulas and asked to stop taking medicines prescribed by previous doctor (although they were keeping me up and quick honestly) she said they were threat for my other organs like kidney and liver no matter how good they were for my knees. She gave me some mild medicines which are not that strong but okay to let me walk during the day for household. The specialist she referred was of my age and said that his own mother had condition and went through surgery of replacement. The expense he told blown my head so badly to be honest as my son has spent more than five to six lac or even more already as he would not tell us .Hubby inquired the agent who informed us about the expenditure and that made us feel little guilty actually! Later i tried to convince my son that surgery might not be necessary and i will try to focus on better life style more in future. But he does not seem convinced and that bothers me a little.
Anyway on a good note we bought and sent few cultural gifts for Sue ,John(her husband) and sweet darling Gabi! Ahsan too bought few traditional dresses for Gabi and got them sewn as well. Last night when he shared photos of Gabi wearing those dresses was quite special for us :) We absolutely LOVED her in the dress !!!!!
Ahsan took us out often and we had so much fun together by the grace of kindest God!
one day before leaving Ahsan took us park after breakfast ,it was quiet and vastness and beauty of the largest park of Islamabad seemed so obvious when people we so little here and there .i think that day will shine brighter among all memories as while sitting on park bench we chatted for more than two hours! hearing my eldest son for such lengthy while was like dream come true as a mother! i am thankful for i could see and listen him after two years!!!
i imagine my younger son and hubby in this picture
despite haziness sunset at Shkarparyan Monument of Pakistan was stunning
when returned home on first Fab loads of cleaning waiting but i focused on these enchanting beauties more and thing got easier :)
Missed younger son (left in white) terribly so sharing his photo taken on day we were leaving for Islamabad together ,younger son has spent 17 days with us,In Islamabad he took ten more leaves from University on asking of his big brother ,this is how he could spent time with our eldest son!
looking forward to move to Islamabad in a smaller and closed house so my house chores can lessen !
little rest is needed before resting in peace lol

Thanks you so much for being with my dear friends!
despite all the chores i try best to visiting you all.
soon the piled jibs will end and life become bit relaxed and back to normal routine when i have more free time hopefully!
Health ,peace and happiness to you and to all you love!
see you all asap!
Glad your health results are all pretty good, with some further tests about your husband's small mass and a change of medications for your arthritis and knees. Usually people do not get knee replacements until they can scarcely walk and I don't think you've reached that point yet, have you? And yes, Gabi looks so gorgeous in her new pink dress!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely words as always dear Debra!
DeleteYes my ,actually both of us got good results over all by the grace of God!
Waiting for when eldest son arranges appointment for hubby.hubby said he will go alone for the test to Karachi.I didn’t insist to go along even I wanted to.
My medicine is changed totally by the specialist we consulted after having tests reports. These are helping mildly though ,but I will be stick to them as former medication prescribed by local bone specialist were declared quite a threat for kidney and liver. By Islamabad Alshifa international hospital doctors. I don’t know what can happen when I will skip the inset injection thrice a month particularly as it is main support for my walking.
I don’t know if I will be able to walk freely as I was doing after starting previous treatment. Dear Debra I myself don’t want surgery at all honestly and it’s only because I don’t feel right vibe about it from within actually.
What a very nice post. I hope all is well with your husband and I'm glad you saw the doctor too. Medications can cause more trouble than they are worth. Lovely photos of your family and Gabi. Be well my friend.
ReplyDeleteThanks dear Nichole
DeleteHubby is doing well by the grace of God , rest will be determined after city scan report once our eldest son let us know when the appointment is.
Honestly I didn’t think medicine can be something to be as cautious about since my new doctor informed how badly they could affect my organs.i felt scary.yet I would like to have second opinion regarding the topic
Glad hubby will get a CT scan. So glad you both got checked up. Your eldest son is a good man.
ReplyDeleteEven when our eldest son lived here with us,we were so fond of him because of his awesome nature dear Christine,he has been such a thoughtful and kind soul and I am really grateful for him to have as son.Goodness is precious to me!
DeleteThis has been a very good month for you. Sadly the longer kids are away the less we miss them.
ReplyDeleteI totally completely agree with you dear Red
DeleteHaving eldest son after two years was something special for us as family as everyone loves him and misses his presence so much ❤️
This is all positive. You all had a good time visiting with your son. It is obvious that he loves all of you. Your medical results are mostly good. I hope your husband's health improves. Diabetes is not always easy to deal with. My son is diabetic.
ReplyDeleteHeartfelt thanks dear Emma you got everything super right
DeleteWaiting for news about appointment as eager to learn about hubby chest issue
Hope nothing serious
Every year (October/November) I get my annual check up.
ReplyDeleteThis year I'll have to get another collonoscopy.
Too many years have passed since the last one.
Awesome dear Pedro
DeleteHope you will go for colonoscopy asap
Lovely post Baili. It is wonderful you were able to be with your sons as family is everything.
ReplyDeleteLove your flowers, and hope your new tablets for it work well.
Take care.
Thanks dear Margaret
DeleteYes iPad is working great
Oh Baili, how happy it made my heart to hear that you got to spend a month with your son on a getaway! The smile in your eyes is beautiful to see! All the sweet and precious times with your family are so precious, so many wonderful memories are being made. I can only imagine how hard it was to say goodbye. I love the dress on Gabi, she is beautiful, and what a beautiful dress it is. Your flowers are gorgeous, such beauty God gifts to us! I hope you are able to catch up on all the laundry and things that need to be done without overdoing it Many blessings to you dear friend!
ReplyDeletethanks for lovely words dear Marilyn
DeleteHow fast happy times fly away 🥹❤️
Yes ,thankful for God let us create fresh memories this year 🙏
My internet went down last night when I was trying to visit friends sadly, appeared today after 24 hours.
Gabi is pretty like a bloom🥰 she looked stunning in each dress 👌❤️
We had guest sis in law so few things had to wait, house chores are never ending you know 😅
God will be the strength as always
I am so pleased to read about you spending time with your boys, I wish you could spend more! Concerned to read about your arthritis and knee problems but glad the doctor has told you to stop medication that could harm your organs! I take turmeric, vitamin d and magnesium tablets for joints/bones and arthritis - I believe they help. Betty x
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for sweet words precious friend Betty!
DeleteJanuary went faster I believe, glad to add in memories treasure!
Arthritis oh yes ,it’s true it made my heart heavy for a while, but I keep reminding myself that thinking about things I can’t control is useless 😅
I will try my best to keep up with meditation and exercise but I genuinely don’t want to go through surgery at any cost because I don’t think it’s worth it at all.I believe that medicine will help in long run 🤞
Heartfelt thanks for sharing your medicine intake my friend.I will check if they are included in mine as well.vitamin d I am taking since an year almost.
Oh, such a delightful post. I am glad you are both doing fairly well! Great to see all these beautiful pictures. Gabby looks amazing. I love this outfit! I am glad to see your sons photos as well. I hope you have a fantastic February! So nice to see these delightful things and ways in your life. Much happiness from Omaha, Nebraska!
ReplyDeleteOh much thanks for lovely words dear Ellie
DeleteWe both are on medication which is helpful by the grace of God!
Gabi is a sweet little princess 👸 I believe 😘
Many blessings to you as well my friend ❤️
Such a wonderful month on so many levels, Baili. The time with Ashan was definitely special. His care for his family is exceptional. Your boys are a tribute to you both. Your heart must be singing with joy! Have a great February, Baili.
ReplyDeleteYes,I am utterly delighted and grateful dear Marie
DeleteAhsan is exceptional human being and God’s,precious gift for to us as parents because of the bright and beautiful nature he is blessed with! Being with him is special undoubtedly
I am truly grateful to God for blessing me with kind hearted children 🙏❤️
Dear Baili, A lovely post indeed. Two comments I wish to mention … First, the words from Marilyn @ MountainTopSpice are perfect. I won’t be able to improve on that, so let me 2nd them. 😊 And, the words from Red, “Sadly the longer kids are away the less we miss them.” Isn’t that true with all the souls in our lives? I know it is true for my parents … I missed them so much after they passed decades ago. I still miss them today, but now I realize I’m getting closer to being with those souls again in the future. 😊 Blessings to you and yours! John
ReplyDeleteYou are exceptionally talented in sharing your emotions dear John
DeleteHeartfelt thanks for kindness!
I don’t know what to say as my kids just left our world and this is Grace of God that we keep in touch often!
But about parents yes just like you I missed them enough to feel lost and broken and lonely even disappointed.it was like something unexpected happened in my life suddenly when they both left one after another within a year.
It turned my world upside down mentally
I can never be the same person I used to be once. After 12 years I feel still there from within but in outside my world is normal and I admire my efforts to keep it that way after the mercy of God who guided me to do so!!!
Whenever I think about death ,my feelings aren’t the different than yours and I believe to some extent it makes me long for it which is bad I know.
Many blessings to you and yours 🙏
Beautiful photos, baili - it's so nice to see your family and that sunset and the flowers are stunning! I'm so happy that you had good times and good talks with your eldest son after such a long time not seeing him. I'm glad your medical tests were, for the most part, good. And it will help your arthritis pain, I hope, when you move to Islamabad and a smaller place to take care of. Gabi looks so lovely in her new dress, and it sounds like she is a good partner for your son :)
ReplyDeletePrecious friend Jenny thank you so much for kind words ❤️
DeleteGod indeed brought enormous happiness to me and hubby this year. I could spend more enjoyable time with my son rather then remaining busy in house chores mostly. Being able to visit out together made us have more chilled time as well which is hard when stay here in our small city.
I am hopeful about my arthritis as well and I hope staying positive and strong would help this time as well 🤞🤞🤞
Dreaming of moving Islamabad since many years actually.I don’t know whether it will come true or not,but if it does I will choose small manageable place because I know so well now that it’s time to take it slow.
We too loved how all the dresses looked so beautiful on Gabi 🥰😍♥️
This pink dress was my choice 😍she looks like a Barbie doll indeed 😘♥️
Oh yes we too think she is amazingly strong, honest and loving girl.
Really Really really hoping for the good news believe me 🙏🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞♥️
Big thanks for lovely words dear Marilyn

Such a lovely post dear Baili, and reading through the many comments you have received here we are all so pleased for you.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the words from Marilyn @ Mountain Top Spice, and find myself agreeing with everything she said to you.
My very good wishes.
All the best Jan
God bless you dear Jan♥️
DeleteI'm really happy to hear that your son is inviting that his father gets that mass checked out, Baili! It's likely nothing as the doctor said, but you want to be sure. A number of my friends have had knee replacements, and they have been helpful. I hope you can manage with lifestyle changes, but I have a feeling that Ahsan will be checking up on your situation lots. Gabi does look adorable in the pink dress, but I think she looks adorable in every photo. As always, I love your photos! Aren't flowers a special gift from God? They first appeared on earth about 130 million years ago during the Cretaceous. Flowers are like smiles from the Creator. Love to you!
ReplyDeletePrecious friend Louise ♥️
DeleteMany thanks for your sweet words as always 🥰
Yes Ahsan will get an appreciation for his father’s cityscape in Karachi. But he called us yesterday after ten days and shared that he fell ill after arriving in London sadly.he said he didn’t inform because it was little Covid like flu feeling with coughing and fever. Here we thought that he might have lots of work pilled so busy with that. Yesterday he was going office after additional vacation for illness,he called while going to work just to make us less worried. And tell that he is fine now by the grace of God!!!
Sadly both of my sons don’t inform when sick as they think I am too emotional and highly suggestive for such situations 😭😂 this is unsolvable issue I agree because this is the habit I couldn’t fix until now unfortunately 😔
He will try to get appointment when free hopefully.
Dear Louise thank you for sharing your experience , I have actually doing quite well since Sue has sent me a video of certain exercises.it’s few days and I have started feeling quite stable and active physically!she truly is an angel!😇
I believe that I can survive without surgery hopefully 🤞
Once Ahsan will see me doing better,he surely will satisfied.I think so!
Gabi has inherited goodness from her mom I believe and that makes her shine like a star in every outfit 👍♥️😍
Oh my amazingly talented friend thanks to informing time of flowers beginning 🥰😯♥️
I find and mention them Smiles Of God♥️♥️♥️♥️
I am indebted to your love and support my friend 🥹♥️♥️♥️
Hugs and lots of love ♥️
What a wonderful post, Baili, and I am just catching up this weekend after taking a short blog break. It was good to read that you and husband got the results of the tests and overall, it seems like the results were good even with the possible additional tests that will b done. Your son obviously ants to make sure that his parents are well taken care of, which was lovely to read.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you were able to spend such an extended time together and being away from home does mean catching up later. But, there will be time for that. yes, Gabi did look lovely in the pink dress and how thoughtful of your son to buy the dresses.
Dear Dorothy!❤️
DeleteThank you for lovely words
Undoubtedly God has blessed us with really nice and caring son! I am grateful for such grace from the bottom of my heart 🥹
Gabi is very sweet and pretty young lady,Ahsan thought of buying gift for her from here and traditional dress was an option 🥰 she looked amazing and gorgeous in pink ,it was my choice by the way 😍
Since it’s two weeks since I got back but household and guests keeping me busy, still trying to visit all my kind and lovely friends during breaks as I too miss reading their wonderful blogs♥️
Percebi que o mês de janeiro foi muito bom para si e para a sua família. Desejo que melhorem das queixas que têm de saúde. Que tudo corra bem em vossas vidas.
