Hello Lovely Friends
It's been two weeks almost that rains are over but our weather is still pleasant thankfully. We visited the doctor on Friday. He checked the knee and asked how is pain, i told him that i am able to walk even fast . I showed my concern once again that if surgery is needed. He replied No . I asked how i will have to take long medicine. He answered not for long though injection will be needed in two to three months.Than i asked about walk and he said yes you can take walks but never bend your knees . I was relieved. I am taking my 20 minutes walk since there days and also have started my yoga stretches.By the grace of God i am feeling better!
Below sharing some beautiful images sent by Sue (Gabi 's mom) . Sue was born in Canada. She moved to London after marriage. She has sister there . Sue told that she visit her once in a while. Recently she is in Canada and visiting Newfoundland with her sister and her husband. I am bit familiar with name of this gorgeous island through Marie 's blog .(Side bar) .i am posting via my tablet so couldn't place. I loved how island was filmed in Anne with E . I so enjoyed glimpse shared by Sue! Thanks my friend ♥️
I'm glad you got the shot in your knee and can do light exercise. I hope the treatment is successful in healing the issue. Love the photos of Newfoundland. You can see why the island's nickname is "The Rock." Of the 10 provinces of Canada, the only one I have NOT visited is Newfoundland, alas. I hope to get there some day perhaps!
ReplyDeleteI felt positive change in my over all well being after doing my stretching walk thank goodness dear Debra

Isn't it nice to have contacts all over the world? We learn so much that way and sometimes meet special people. I am happy to learn that your knee is improving.

ReplyDeleteMany thanks dear Marie
ReplyDeleteI remember later that you live in Prince Edward island probably and mentioned Newfoundland few times
So glad to hear you won't need surgery. Wishing you all the best with your health and family. Such lovely photos. It must be interesting to see this coast and streets. I know it is very different where you are. & I'm in a land lock state on the Missouri river. We do have plenty of critters flocking around from black squirrels, to wondering fawns and fat bunnies. Our street used to be a canopy of lovely trees, but due to winds and storms, both ice and rain those trees have slowly hit houses and streets over the decade or so. Sorry to ramble. Oh, it is always interesting to see where people live. Here's to beautiful walks and finding time for the joy in your poems, love in the kitchen and many friendships. 🍂❤️🪷💛🍂 Thank you so much for reading and your comments. BTW I have had to start insulin. So far, not so bad. I hope I can keep it that way.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Glad you mentioned Anne with an E. I need to go back and finish it. I started it a long time ago and got sidetracked with binge-ing on other things. Glad your knee is improving.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear from you dear Sandy :)
ReplyDeleteOh you are reading the book ,sounds interesting as books are mostly bigger joy than shows :)
Good news that you are able to resume your walks, Baili, and hopefully can avoid surgery which isn't always a cure from what others have shared with me. We didn't visit Newfoundland on our trip to Canada this spring, however it looks like a future place to explore. Thanks for sharing Sue's photos and it is nice to have bonded with Gabi's mom too.
ReplyDeleteI love all the colors and the beautiful seaside. Thank you, Baili! 😄

I'm so glad that you are making progress with your knee, Baili! And thank you for sharing the pictures of Newfoundland. You're making me homesick. It's been 13 years since I last visited. My sister Barb's partner is from Newfoundland. Every time he speaks, I feel homesick! Take care. This is all I can catch up on right now. I have to meet Terry. Then I'm going to listen to a favorite Fremont Street band. It's our last night here. Love and hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteThanks can't be enough my friend as you took time from such fun day and left me these lovely words!!!
DeleteI hope you vist your homeland asap dear Louise. I know how hard it is to being away from the place you raised
