Some Good And Some bad News

 Hello Sweet Hearts!

Hope beating wisely on the beat of life!

it might sound repetition but our power and internet has been disturbed so badly recently . It rained here continually for three days and it was obvious that power will remain absent until rain stops because our wire system is not appropriately done within city so WPDA the power company shuts it off when first drop touches the ground what a mess .Same thing happened with our internet device as it was going off and on  periodically so hubby decided to subscribe from another local internet service provider . The workmen took whole day for installation of the wires outside the house and then setting the device not because it was as much time consuming but because they would leave the job and go to buy something that lacked during the installation. There was still little part of job remaining which was supposed to finished today but nobody appeared and we are still waiting that process can be end eventually .

The youngest brother of hubby has adopted a baby girl from one of his nephew and we are so happy for them! They got married before twelve years and had still no hope for having child .Couple was desperate honestly and they tried hard to get treatment meanwhile but invain unfortunately . One of our nephew (eldest son of the another brother of hubby) 's wife was expecting with baby girl .It was going to be third daughter so couple decided to offer my youngest brother in law if he wants to adopt their baby. The couple relived and accepted the offer immediately .The baby came to the world last night and couple took not just responsibility of  financial expenses but they both stayed in the hospital to look after the mother and baby . We were informed that they have returned today so we called and congratulate them .We will visit them to share their joy soon hopefully!

It is 7th of the August my eldest son's birthday ! I wished him by writing him a poem in Urdu :)

but i could not write in english for my blog actually which i had in mind. Recent crises of power, internet and then another which i did not mention probably that the only oldest laptop we had in the house has also been down since last week sadly, and it has made me feel low a bit .

Our younger son is home for ten days .And i am trying to feed him as much as i can ,quite a hard task indeed !

Writing this post on youngest son's laptop which is now with younger son because his own is also out of order since two months almost .He will take it back to karachi and we ,me and youngest son will have to use our phones for study and blogging which also is task .

Thanks for bearing with me precious people!

Health peace and happiness to all of you and to all you love!

  1. Oh, I hope it gets better with the power. Recently, we went a few days without power due to hurricane winds (80 miles) and we are a land locked state! So many trees down. There is still a clean up and some are still without power.
So great to hear about the new baby. I am sure she will be much loved in the family! All the best to you guys.

  2. Hello, Baili! It has been a while since I have been on my blog and also your blog. Glad to hear you are well. I am sorry to hear about the issues with power there. Does it rain often? It seems that would be very inconvenient.

I am surprised by the story about your nephew. Is that kind of adoption common there? I say surprised because here in the US someone who gives up a child for adoption is usually a young teen or in other difficult circumstances. Will she grow up knowing she has sisters?

  4. It is so precious that the baby enriched their lives, and generous of that the nephew was able to provide that for the couple. We have been lucky here in our S. California to have few outage events.

  6. Dear Baili,

It sounds like you've been going through quite a challenging time with all the disruptions to your power, internet, and technology. It's amazing how you manage to stay positive and keep everything together despite these difficulties. The story about your brother-in-law adopting a baby girl is heartwarming, and it's a wonderful reminder of the joy and love that family brings, even amidst challenging times.

Happy birthday to your eldest son! It's touching that you wrote him a poem in Urdu to celebrate his special day. Your resilience and ability to find joy in family moments are truly inspiring.

I hope things get sorted out soon with the power and internet, and that you find a way to get the laptops fixed. It's not easy juggling everything, but your determination shines through in your writing.

Take care, Baili, and thank you for sharing.

    Your friend in Seattle, John

  8. Happy Birthday to your eldest son
I do hope your internet is fixed very soon or completed. It's a pest when the internet doesn't work correctly. The power doesn't sound the best, one wouldn't want to rely on it as you don't, I'm sure.
Thank goodness for phones then to do your blog and for your son to look up things and study...take care.

  12. You've been having many computer challenges but as John said above, you are always so positive! I hope you and your son can manage on your phones.

How selfless of your hubby's nephew and his wife - that is a huge decision and will enrich the lives of your brother-in-law and his wife immeasurably.

Happy birthday to your eldest son! The years go by so fast, don't they?

  13. What a problem - when one has power outages. Makes one so so thankful for electricity. They were doing a lot of updating power lines here in the mountains. We would regularly be affected by outages for up to eight hours a day sometimes, when they were in different areas of the mountains but if the main connection included other areas. Anyway - ...glad have power back and happy birthday to your son. And having your youngest home is nice. Happy days ahead for you with power I hope.
