Weather , Family Event Photos And Divine Happiness

Precious  Fellows !

Hope inhaling grace of Lord each breath with gratitude and positivism because i bet you too know that no matter how big this mess of life sounds ,it is still a short play of single breath that may come or not next time :)

A windy day here today . Strong winds are blowing outside so temperature is dropping to 20.Rains have stated to pour down in various areas of the country. We too had little shower yesterday that transformed  the environment immediately thank goodness .

We are expecting complete lockdown here within few days.I am concerned how long it will last as my younger son has Sat test date in first week of December .I am worried about kids who might have completed their first semester if have chance to admit in university on right time >they missed it because of lockdown and it's again here .All we can do is have faith and keep praying for better days !

I want to thank you all of you for kind visits and words !Your kindness keeps me going on blogosphere and fills me with gratitude that i have amazing generous friends who keep me in thoughts. Despite all the distance we have between us we are connected to each other by the robe of humanity ,love and respect. This completes me as an individual ! Let me tell you that i cannot find time always to respond to your comments often though i want to each time.I do so whenever i find time despite of knowing that you will not be reading them now probably because they are late :( I still do as it makes me happy :)

We  are out of  the circle of constant rush hours finally after almost two weeks .

Family gatherings consumes lots of energy and time but bless us with treasures of small pleasurable moments indeed. This time we met with bunch of friends and relatives we had not have chance to meet for quite a while ,so joy was doubled .One of my sister in law (wife of hubby's brother) comes from my (late) aunt's (father's sister)  family .

She celebrated the khatna ceremony of her two sons.Event  took place in their newly built( but incomplete) house because they did not book the hall due to they saving mode as they need money to complete it .Big  yard of new house was suitable for huge crowd.

I attended all parts of the event during three days except that took place during late nights. Reason behind late night events is that ladies feel free from all responsibilities including looking after children and so they can dance and sing freely until daybreak .Such parties start after midnight and i can't afford to participate because of the lack of energy,so i ask them to excuse .And it is also a quite hard ask believe me :)

photos belong to last  day of the event when party was ended after whole night celebration ,some close relatives and friends were also about to leave after lunch  when we entered ,i am with on of my husband's niece ,(eldest brother of hubby) ,she is teacher ,a very active girl who took step for her children and convinced her husband to move into this city from village so kids can find better study environments, she sent her  boys for tuition to me for few months so they can prepare for admission in primary classes here in city .they were smart  children ,i am amazed how children vary just because their mothers have better approach to life

some young girls were still cheering up the crowd with their performances ,this reminded me my village weddings strongly ,it is rare to celebrate in yards now ,everyone goes straight to halls and sits tight while watching girls on stage performing ,i more like old way when connection with each other is more and easy

girl standing is younger sister of my sister in law married to a lawyer that belongs to one of the richest families in our city but poor girl lives under lot of pressure caused by her in law parents though husband is caring when alone but ignores her front of parents sadly ,i wonder how people can be so heartless and make life hard for their own children .Girl in green is granddaughter of my late aunt ,lives in Karachi with her husband ,both girls grew up front of me and it seems not long ago they were playing in my old house with my sons

It was joy to meet people of the village where my  late aunt used to live ,small village where everybody is in blood relation and deeply connected to each other ,it seems amazing when people recognize you from times when they saw you little with parents ,i stopped visiting that village since my aunt died few years back as her all children lives in various village and cities now

This sadden me when i hear or read that distance between people is increasing since world got so called global village .My eldest son shares that in many countries child birth is getting so less and most of the young people avoid life time commitment which seems scary. I think relationship bring meaning ,beauty and flavor to life without them we are scattered dots ,spread within universe alone ,circling around meaninglessly .Worst part of this loneliness is that we live barren colorless life and stay unaware of divine happiness.Only love can connect us and make us feel the true joy of living that comes with "Sharing" only !
Stay blessed with faith and hope precious friends!
both are wings that makes you keep fly no matter how strong the wind is :) they lead you your divine destination eventually !
In my thoughts and prayers ,all of you !

  1. By coincidence we had heavy winds here last night too. There was also a tornado warning. Luckily it seems that the damage was not too bad.

Covid is also on the rise here. We will probably have lockdowns soon. Hopefully it will not get that bad anywhere.

I hope that you and your family stay healthy.

I imagine the Universities will change their rules to make a way for students to be admitted now. This is a strange time.

  6. Hello Baili, you have been busy with family commitments recently. I enjoyed seeing your photos and I love how gracefuly and beautiful each lady (especially yourself) always look.
All the very best as you navigate through the impending lockdown... hard but necessary as has been proven.
Yes, it can be so difficult for students and their studies and commitments this year, a hard time and perplexing for young children going back to school after being in lockdown for over 4 months as happened in our capital city, Melbourne, recently.
Times have changed, but most folk adapt. Warm wishes to you and yours xx

    1. i agree that we change in order to survive yet it annoys me the way things are over exposed in media and i wonder why i still think that authorities should just leave the people with all appropriate knowledge and advise ,restricting the flow of work in the world has damaged the economy and business already ,specially daily earners face more problems with lockdown which means rate of corruption might rise more and more on every aspect of living

  11. Traditions for each culture most interesting.
A lot of people to gather in the yard and wondering how people that live next door sleep through the night when family celebrating next door.
The word has sure changed because of Covid-19.
Be safe, take care and I'm sure it will all work out for your son with University.

    1. here where i live most of the ceremonies are celebrated when weather is mild so mostly people don't mind all the noise that parties cause ,still there are cities and part of cities where such things are prohibited ,specially societies of wealthy people ,in middle class society things are relative and different

A wonderful post that I enjoyed very much. I have always liked lady's clothing in your part of the world. Quite beautiful as is your culture! Learning of your family and your traditions, it is so very interesting. Thank you for sharing with us.

    1. thank you dear Denise for encouraging me always !

i am stick with hope that more people of this planet will understand someday that unity is the only solution for their all problems, when the race of individual profits will stop and effort for mutual benefit will start our life on this place will be an example for inhabitant of other planets (which i believe exist for sure and loook down us for our ignorance and selfishness )

  13. Dear Baili - DeniseinVA wrote what I wanted to say. To add a little more, even when we are separated physically, we are connected by love and compassion to each other. Things are tough, but aren’t we humans tougher? We can count our blessings. I’m glad CVID-19 is not an airborne disease. Thanks for encouraging us to be positive and thankful. Stay safe.

    1. i have strong faith in "oneness" dear Yoko :)

i believe that we are discarded pieces of a huge source of energy and are of same kind obviously ,floating near or far from each other we are still connected to each other with part of our energy that is invisible but designed to keep us close ,the more we believe in this connection the stronger our relation is and for this physical distance is not counted

i agree that being not an airborne disease makes corona less threat for us (hopefully )

  14. The family gathering looks lovely and happy. I much prefer gatherings at home without laid on entertainment.

We are in full lockdown too, at least until the 2nd December.

Here in England, UK we are in lockdown.
    I think many countries are.
We haven't been able to see family for a while, although we have been keeping in touch via the internet.

    Stay safe and well.

    All the best Jan

  16. I enjoy your photos and descriptions of special events so much, baili. It is so interesting to read of the different ways you celebrate but in the end it is just like our get-togethers - a way to connect and enjoy each other's company.

I hope it works out for your son - and there is light at the end of the tunnel now, with vaccines being developed. Soon life will resume as it used to be, and folks will catch up on what they have missed. I think it must be harder for young people. A year seems so long when you are young! (and so short when we get older :))

    1. Oh that is such pleasant news dear Jenny :)

thank you for sharing that vaccine has been invented for the disease ,such a relief to learn that
being mother of growing kids i am concerned that progress towards their future will be slow due to pandemic but now you gave me the hope with this positive news ,i am kind of exhausted with my efforts to keep them on the mark during all this time believe me ,i want them to be with me yet i want them to move forward for their betterment
yes end of the day all family events are source of "togetherness" and "sharing" without which life is not life but just breathing process :)

  17. Dearest Baili, oh WOW...such a wonderful post, which I thoroughly enjoyed!
I would have loved to have been a part of that gathering in your late aunt's village. I totally agree with you, we are all becoming distanced from each other...and not least here in England. When I was a child growing up in a small village, everyone knew each other, and would always stop and chat in the streets. Now, even close neighbours only very rarely acknowledge each other. And I find that so sad.🙁 Being in lockdown doesn't help either, and I'm sorry to hear that you will be going back into lockdown there again too. I really hope things work out with your sons' educations too.

As you so rightly say, love is the greatest power that binds people together...and without it, what are we?
My dear friend, I am just so grateful to have found you. That we think so alike makes me feel so much less isolated, in spite of the miles that separate us.
You are very very special to me.😊😊

Have a happy day and stay safe!

Sending you much love and hugs, always ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

being from small village keeps me both ,happy and sad ,happy because i had privilege to grew up there and witnessing the strength and beauty of humanity and relationships and sad because i don't find such environment anywhere anymore

  19. I always feel happy after you share photos of your customs and family gatherings, etc. Because of you I understand more of your culture and the beauty of these large family events that are important in your life. I've always admired the clothes the women wear in your parts of the world. I'm a lover of fabric, texture, color design but all i ever wear is long or short sleeve Tshirts and jeans (or comfy clothes in the house). I have often wondered what it would be like to dress in such beautiful clothes as your people do and in other parts of the world. Loved the post. Our govenor of CAlifornia has decided we are having more lockdown agian all the while he was photographed out to dinner with about 12 people eating indoors at a nice restaurant (while every body else is suppose to eat outdoors with their masks on unless taking a bite of food ) and all of them with no masks on. So what's good for the politicans is definitely different than what they tell us to do.

    1. i always appreciate your kind comments in which you share your heart and thoughts so beautifully dear Sandy ,you are such a sweet person that my heart goes out for you to meet you once in a life at least :)

the politician story made me laugh first and then sad ,they are always known for their hypocrisy aren't they ? anyway i personally think people of today's world are mature enough to take care of themselves and they can follow their natural instincts when it comes to stay safe against such illness
i have seen a british young lady wearing eastern clothes often specially in parties and she looked extremely gorgeous and graceful :)

    2. Some day maybe in my dreams I will wearing eastern clothing. Oh, I would love to have an afternoon just talking sitting over lunch somewhere - preferably in your part of the world.

  20. Thank you, Baili, for once again sharing such an interesting post about your family and traditions. I am not sure if I will ever visit Pakistan, but seeing the beautiful colors of the women's clothing makes it seem a cheerful place and, of course, you are one of its best ambassadors. The virus numbers have been rising here in NH as well and now lockdowns are again starting, including the locval library and banks. I hope you and your family continue to be safe and well in this uncertain world we are all living in now.

    Ana
