Hey Lovely People!
Hope and pray that all of you are breathing smoothly in beautiful weather in your part of land!
I know i am quite late for my post and more than it for visiting your wonderful places (my loss :(
But let me share that i was away from internet for almost 11 days as i went to visit my native village situated near Islamabad where i am living right now !
as though we can live and celebrate life by our own throughout the year but on special days we truly want to be close to our origin and our family !
So in spite of i lost my parents almost 7 years back i still feel more serene and at peace when i be in my village and among people whom i know from my childhood !
Sharing some pics from my visit which convey my joy and business during my stay in village . I met my elder brother and his family and many friends which was deep pleasure to groom my soul indeed!
This stunning view not only takes my breath away but bring soooo many precious memories back from days when i was complete with my parents and siblings
Neighbor's child who was was chasing pigeons petted by my nephew
Happiness is product of peace which your soul gets when it get close to its origin ! (for me)
beautiful flower from the harden of my brother's wife
there was long row of flower pots as mild weather helps them grow and live long so well
there rains atleast once or twice in a week so heat don't get harder on plants to fad them
My youngest was so happy while playing with goats ,hens and pigeons ,trying to feed them all the time lol
Rain added the more beauty and charm to surroundings!!!
These plastic chairs were great help to enjoy the slight early pouring as they don't get spoiled ,i will miss sitting there with hubby and other family members there !
On Eid morning when we all returned from graveyard (praying for our parents and grand parents according to tradition) gathering started and day was filled with laughter and delicious meals!
Our conversations were more about our past and about the future of our children !
We are back to Islamabad since yesterday and it will be my pleasure to meet you guys through your Beautiful Amazing Blogs!
Please take great care of yourself and specially of your sweet beautiful heart !
Keep him Filled with HOPE and TRUE JOY which comes from Faith in God and Faith In Humanity!
Happy Life to All Of You!
God Bless You all!!!
It looks and sounds like your Eid celebration was wonderful. Belated best wishes!

ReplyDeleteHi, Baili! What a delight to read your post. I haven't seen you look so relaxed and peaceful in a while. Thanks for sharing your vacation photos. I especially love the photo of you and Ali. I'm sure the cool misty hills and soft rains lifted your spirits, and I hope the memory of them sustains you through the summer heat. There is nothing like visiting your childhood home and seeing family and friends. Your youngest son is sprouting like a weed ~ He is growing!!! Terry and I will be with my family in Nova Scotia in a month, and I can't wait. Lovely to see you back, my friend. Sending you a big hug and wishes for your family's wellbeing. God bless you too!

Another beautiful post, my friend. I love that courtyard with all the pots (the little boy and the pigeons turn that photo into a little story) and I have to admit that I quite like the idea of 11 days without internet. It must be so liberating.

ReplyDeleteIt was wonderful to see you enjoy your original home. While sad to remember the loss of your parents, visiting the graves, remembering good times with your family and friends is so important and quite healing. what a lovely post, such a beautiful place and I loved seeing you with your loved ones. I have recently been to visit the place my grandmother lived, I spent my happiest childhood times with her there and I visited her grave, sat and chatted to her and left some lavender from my garden. I can completely identify with what you said about coming back to your origins, a sense of complete calm and comfort!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful feeling of Eid. I hope the rest of the year is also very good for you!
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel; when I am in the place where I grew up, I feel complete. Your childhood home area is beautiful! I am glad you had a lovely visit . . . more good memories to store away, baili :)
