Visit to Heavenly Sintra Town And Pena Palace By My Son

Sorry if i am being little late for reading your blogs dear friends  as shorter days are giving me little tough time when there is one week left in arrival of my eldest son from Lisbon Portugal . We are trying to rearrange things so house can look more neat and much well coming for our baba who is coming home after three years ,heartfelt prays for him and all travelers ,may everyone have safe journey amen!

Beautiful weather is another excuse which compel us to spend more time out in the front yard ,such cooler days are really rare here when senses seems to work well and one feels able  to be out and observe whatever little natural beauty is present before eyes, as  hot weather which lasts almost nine to ten months here force  us to stay confined in the rooms under the fan mostly.

 Hubby has started seasonal plantation and to begin with he has brought few rose plants from the nursery  last day. Plants had already few flowers  which filled colors in our yard instantly . Chilled breeze and divinely blue sky making days glorious thankfully!

My eldest son  visited Sintra town an outstrike  of Lisbon .It is situated in the lap of Sintra mountains . He  shared some spectacular photos of  sintra park and  a magnificent  castle called Pena Palace  there. Red and yellow palace is right on the hill top and gives commending view of the town below. For the trip actually my son had to choose between Porto and Sintra and he found Sintra more attractive as he loves serene natural sights more like his parents i guess :) The images he shared are breathtakingly beautiful to me as loved all the natural beauty along the way till top of the hill and the gorgeous view that palace offer :)  I am thankful to my son and his friend who (whom he met during his surfing lesson not online which i mentioned in previous post mistakenly sorry)  took such amazing and lovely shots throughout the tour !

fascinating road ,specially those that travel upwardly ,they always have strong appeal for me ,getting down is easy but once you are up there what you get makes you forget tiredness earned by journey from below to up.

hill stations are my favorite too ,i love lush and peaceful environment  they offer ,i remember scenes from so many movies when doctor says to patient "you must spend sometime on some hill station you will feel better" i think they were so right bout it.

away from city rush hours one must feel relax and regain his mental energy lost in city noise while observing the natural beauty around and hear the whisper of silence.

i wish i can learn the story about this couple as their pose makes me curious and little sad because the he has hold her seems like it was move to protect and comfort her ?

it feels good to see life is getting back to it's norm ,i like seeing different spread on ground here and there celebrating life with gratefulness ,being familiar and kind to each other and offering help ,this is what life for indeed!

either i would have found so hard to stop taking photos as the whole upward journey looks filled with stunning views that demand visitors to stop for while and click to preserve and take this beauty along .

             looks like an ancient caves or tunnel built for some protection or hideout for army may be 

i have seen one side stair in some old well for cleaning purpose but never saw such well which seems built for visiting instead of water ,intriguing isn't it ?

doorway to tunnel or cave i think , do you feel scared when you have to enter some cave ,i think of early people who lived in such caves for thousand years ,that natural lifestyle kept them more active and healthy than us who are forced to watch tv and shop instead 

 happily dancing angle probably , dancing is expression that can vary with mood but i think of the " dance of Universe " don't you think the whole universe and all the objects with it are dancing round and round from an basic atom to largest body floating in space everything seems to dance smoothly ,do you wonder who makes them do so ? i wonder and alot ! 

you can only imagine the gratefulness a mother feels when she sees her babies are doing fine by the grace of kind lord and trying to exist successfully ! my heartfelt prayers for all ,may all mothers on this earth find same joy amen!

i think masks are necessary here specially inside the building though outside it depends on distancing probably ,the exquisite artwork on walls resembles with Islamic art we find in Persian architecture i think .

Jesco is friend whom my eldest son met during his surfing class ,My son adores him for his love for travel as he has visited many countries already including Mexico and Sri Lanka though he is only 22 mashallah ! they both enjoyed traveling together and a lot according to my son . 

     what if you have to live there ,i would love to ,i miss my native home and the days i spent there were most beautiful despite of all odds !

Trip To City Lagos In Portugal By My Son

Hey  Amazing Hearts !

Hope beating with hope and positivism despite of all the odds and challenges life offer because i believe that you have insight and courage to do so :)

Being Thankful for beautiful weather keeps me more happy than usual.  Nature could have given us a one pleasant weather forever but it is not in the nature of Nature of course . Diversity is crucial tool for learning . If i was swinging the swing of comfort always while singing a merry song i would have never learnt the treasure of learning and a little bit wisdom i have today am hundred percent sure of this . Floods of various tests ,storms of ups and down and strong gusts of odds shake us awake us and push further to move ahead and that is divine beauty of life believe me :)

Okay i won't bore you with my simple silly talks but want to share with you some delightful glimpse of my eldest son's trip to Lagos in Portugal as you know my son is staying there for a month before coming to  Pakistan . His weekdays are quite busy but he is managing to take small trips on weekends to explore beauty in surroundings . He had booked for a dolphin show on Friday night probably but later he realized that the show is in city Lagos which is six hours away but he did not cancel the program and left with one of his new friend whom he had met online i believe . He when called on Sunday seemed very happy about his trip .He told he had so much fun with so many dolphin there . He liked the city too but he had to get back so they hardly spent some hours there and left for home .Sharing some photos hope you will like them as i absolutely loved the water the intriguing formation of rocks and dolphins ,I am not tired to see videos :) I uploaded one video but i don't know it will play or not as in past i could not make them play i don't know why .

 

if seeing the dolphins in photos is as exciting how much fun it must have been for my son and his friend to watch them from so close wow 

we are living in the pool of divine energy which has numerous forms and shapes and each has unique beauty ,message and purpose ,there is Magic everywhere but we got so used to it so don't feel it anymore ,so never loose the child within you so you can enjoy the each breath of life as a wonderful wonderful gift :)
 

such a precious sight !!! i feel so serene that my baba is having opportunity to fulfill his dreams ,this is most beautiful feeling for a mother indeed , the deep blue water looks incredibly beautiful oh i can sit there for ages lol 

how nicely authorities has managed to facilitate the visitors i am impressed ,our country specially northern areas have incredible natural beauty but hurdles of the ways discourage visitors to visit there ,i find it  surprising when i see how  many people still go to visit the northern places that are famous for their mountainous glory and cooler weather in summers but i wish government pay some attention to make tourism easy and places accessible for tourists  .

We attended the khatna ceremony of Allah Bachaya on Sunday in city almost one hour away from us .But i will share it in next post hopefully !

Happy Weather With Happy Events And A Touching Story !

It's not long  that long still seems it has been ages since i visited you guys . Reading you all is one of the my favorite hobby so missed you friends!

Our power remained disappeared mostly during last months.Using  solar battery when my younger son uses it is hard as it is busiest time of the day for me as house wife . Hubby wants us to give break battery after each two hours for it's longer sustainability so next time when it is on it is after lunch which goes as family tv time though i prefer to take some rest meanwhile so can refresh my energy  for evening walk and other chores. 

Having guests often is an other pleasant reason though. We had to attend few family events and ceremonies during last two weeks which including a trip to city Panuaqil which is 40 mile away from Kahirpur Mirs. 

Main event was belonged to this young man name Allah Bachaya (God saved) He is only son to one of  hubby's nephew. Almost thirteen years ago Allah Bachaya  was born as premature baby. He was really weak ,white as chalk and seemed hardly longer than my hand. He was kept in incubator for two weeks . When he was brought home he seemed to give up his life in environment normal for others. This was most sensitive and touching sight i ever saw. I went to congratulate his parents  for they were back to their home with their first child which was born after seven years of their marriage . When i entered in their home i saw many family members sitting there .But i noticed that the house was burdened with weird silence rather than echoing cheerful chatters. When i moved closer i heard only one voice there the voice of crying and sobbing mother of Allah Bachaya . His father was sitting still beside the bed with blank  face and empty eyes as someone snatch away his most precious thing ruthlessly . When my eyes followed his eyes i saw i tiny curved figure laying on the bed completely motionless .His legs were curved with his tummy so he looked more little . When i tried to push his body  it rocked slightly like a non living thing . I don't know how and why but i suddenly sat close to that tiny motionless figure and started to cpr which i had watched few times on geographic shows and movies . But since he was really little i was so scared to push pressure on his chest so i used only two fingers instead . I was doing it without having much hope because the way i saw the body rocking it was hard to have hope that he will be back . But it was most amazing and most pleasant shock to see that the baby respond after a minute or more. I really can't explain what i felt in that particular moment when i saw the flash of light in the eyes of parents and how room full of people was filled with joyous noise instantly! Mother of Allah Bachaya hugged me first and then picked up his son . Long story short from then to till today i think " what was that " ?  I love giving away things and joys but helping someone to get his life back is surely a larger than life experience and i am grateful that such good deed was in my destiny! Family of this young man visit us once in a while specially his father despite they moved to another city . It was Khatna ceremony of Allah Bachaya on fourteenth November and there were four events to attend including trip to Panuaqil. We have attended three during last weeks and one and final will be held on next Sunday at city hall of Pir Goth, we will attend this too.

It is tradition that aunts of  groom (boy who's Khatna is) hold gathering with various happy moves including food items and invite whole family and relative from far and near. Hubby's niece (on right ) is standing with her two daughters who will get married in next five months with their two cousins in our city. I asked them for photos so my niece took me on roof  for better  light. both girls are studying in school . i wish they could get higher education but customs of villages here in rural Sindh province are old so girls are marred before they are 18 even sadly.

 i am standing with one of my sister in law(hubby's sister) who felt lazy due to late night ceremony which i avoided ,i mean i attended but left before 11 pm because this is not my thing anymore to keep awake for late night . picture was taken when we were leaving for home after spending there many hours  there.

I so enjoyed the trip .It was my first trip after two long years since we got back from Islamabad .All family members and relatives  got up on the bus rented by hubby's nephew. My guess is that they were more than sixty people in bus including children . It was 11 am .Bus took me from home and beautiful journey began happily with the cheerful noise and gentle laughter which dimmed when   happy songs started to play on audio system .the audio deck was four feet high and had blasting voice though it was reducing little when i requested. Bus moved on the high way like a joyful ride while scenes outside the window seemed smiling back to us .i loved the trip despite of all because i felt like connecting to the delightful and vibrant side of life :).

Since i am learning more about life my love for life and everyone and everything is deepening gradually. There is meaning in everything ,there is message in each moment ,there is pattern in every event so we should keep pondering and having all the glory life offer to us through her various moods and shades ! Adding our inner beauty to each can make our existence successful!

My Son Staying In Lisbon For A Month

 

My eldest son called us from Lisbon on Sunday . We misunderstood when he told us about his flight last week ,we thought he will leave for Lisbon on Saturday so we expected his call on same day before leaving before the flight .Anyway it was pleasant surprise to learn that he was already in the Lisbon and calling us from hotel . It was 8 am there in Portugal Lisbon and 12 pm here in Pakistan . He told it was long exhausting  journey due to various tests on the way ,as he left from London at six in the morning and  arrived at 8 pm in Lisbon. He fell in sleep at once after arrival as he was so tired. He woke up early next morning and called us while strolling the streets in the surroundings .He was looking for a restaurant  for breakfast but everything seemed closed may be because of Sunday late opening .But thankfully he found a restaurant opened later on higher part for which he walked upwards slowly while taking to us ,sometime showing us the views and sometime clicking on my insistence as i found streets of Lisbon quite fascinating . Sharing some of images with you guys ,hope you too enjoy the peek into old looking architecture  and stony paved streets :)

                   Portugal is a beautiful European country and i bet it is mostly crowded with visitors  

Saturday night people sleep very late mostly so therefore Sunday morning  rests in peace for a while which my son liked as this way he could visit more relaxingly  and taking photos was easy too 

i have read in my text books about Portuguese invasions on different nations in past and their architecture seems to display to some extent such as the use of elephants in war was common  back then.when it comes to learning i feel so helpless .life is too short to learn about how things worked on earth and how various nations behaved throughout the centuries .i am thankful for the peace that people of this world are experiencing from few hundred years .i know nothing is perfect and strategy for dominance on this world has taken new shape still i believe that there is open game for each individual and victory is a right for who plays fairly or more insightfully .

my son was standing beside the sea when he called ,i was happy to see ocean so close to him of course but it felt close to me either :) i love travelling and i want to see different places with unique beauty and geographical features  .i can't do it but i am truly so happy that  my son is able to do so ,i think being parent it's  bigger joy than  that i might have felt during personal experience because the success of children bring more happiness to the heart of parents you know this :) we are having feeling to live through our kids now ! may the peace and joy be for all parents amen!

i liked these murals ,very intriguing ,below are dustbin i guess ,we see how neat the streets were and this is because people realize their responsibility as citizen to keep the city clean and don't stop using dustbins .i think such behavior forms with proper upbringing and educating people from early age ,it is hard to alter good habits later because mostly people grow in the nature they have already and very rarely try to break the shell and move further for betterment in their personality which i find sad and unfortunate . i think bad habits must be part away slowly as we throw away trash after cleaning our house .

another interesting wall art ,reminds me days  when i used to watch cricket match on tv with mom and we would see in audience many women with really interesting hairstyle like flower or fruit basket fixed on head ,that was amusing for villagers like us who make simple braid :)

no matter where the bench  are placed they speak familiar language ,they offer comfort and moment to stop and take breath deeply is better so we can realize what was the all run about and was it worth it or not .

my son took this image when he reached in the hotel yard ,standing there view was commending and gorgeous  ,it is amazing how slight change of place adds the charm to our cup of tea isn't it :) i always think of  hill top or beside water when think of having tea during outing . mixing clouds in the cup  makes me feel i took the sip of divine  sky :) 

what fascinates me about Europe is these  roof of same color which make a spectacular view over all ,we see travel show often and each time roofs of this kind make seem to make Europe unique and very attractive .

mom used to tell that our city Karachi was called city of lights once and trams were common local ride for people ,our country is progressing very slowly on some levels but over all it seems that things are going in reverse ,many Asian countries who became far later than ours has jumped ahead of us far ahead . i wish and pray that people of power here realize how badly they have dealt with situation and start to reset their priorities ,common good before personal advantage . as inhabitant what else i can do except doing my duties fairly and pray that other do the same !

                                   i  find drive on sloppy roads fun ,do you have such roads in your city 

this is nice how ancient buildings are protected and groomed in Europe ,we have many huge ancient places that are waiting for attention of the authorities ,it is annoying that why our government does not pay attention towards improving old sights ,facilitating areas of them so tourism can bring good fortune for people of the land.

i did not expect to see Rikshaw ride in European country ,it is common here but extremely noisy ,i wonder if it spreads less noise pollution there . 

I think this whole walk of my son took one or less hour ,stepping down was easy so he reached his hotel soon . I forgot to mention that my son has decided to stay in Lisbon for a month because he is coming home in December so he wants to rent a place in London on return.This way he can save some money he would have to pay  if he had rented a place in London in November . He told that he chose Lisbon because of affordable resident and weather. He said he always wanted to visit different European places and this way is fulfilling one of his dream too. He called next day and showed us the whole apartment which was part of huge building .Building has so many apartments for visitors from all over the world. Apartment has very nice living area down including kitchen ,bedroom was on upper part . He will work from home and explore the beautiful countryside on holidays . We were happy to hear that . It is 2nd of November ,only 29 day more to meet our child!
