In Islamabad Now

 Hello Dear Friends

Hope and pray that all of you are having blessed time despite all the madness going on in this world!

I want to apologise for being behind in my blogging. I truly miss reading your posts and knowing how are you doing. I have been trying to keep visiting blogs during the business still it’s not enough. We have come to Islamabad last week and thanks to kind God and then our very sweet eldest son we are living in a quiet luxury apartment in nice area!

Weather difference is incredible and very reliving for us thankfully. Can you imagine sitting without fan and still getting no sweats 🤗

To be honest we feel utterly lucky and blessed to have such a caring child who tries to make life easier for us by the grace of God🥹🙏♥️

May Allah reward him for what he does for his family 🙏♥️ and all children are included in my prayers!!!

Actually I fell ill before one day we had to travel. Yes it was typhoid,my beloved disease who doesn’t like to leave me alone and keeps visiting my body once in a while ☹️

But medicine helped me to go through the 12 to 14 bus journey thankfully. I am feeling better and I don’t know it’s a good idea or bad I am taking four to five kilometres walk since three days. Islamabad is irresistible to not take walks and I know I get hardly two months here .

Precious friends heartfelt thanks for your incredible support and generosity throughout and I will say that your support is my strength 🥹♥️🙏

I will be sharing more soon though windstorms and heavy rains are predicted in next week and outings can be postponed for a while.

Will be visiting you asap 🤞

Health, peace and happiness to you and to all you love 🙏♥️

  6. That was a very long bus trip, Baili, especially when you were not feeling well 😕 but I was glad to hear the medication helped. What a wonderful treat from your son to be enjoying a break away from the heat. I wish you and your husband a wonderful adventure. As far as not blogging, it is good to take a break and enjoy your life instead with those you love ❤️ and who also love you 🙂

Actually blogging brings me sense of joy and connection with my friends. It’s my personal world beyond my own world. Stay tuned for latest updates from blog friends is kind of pleasure and adventure to me . I try to not take break still it happens sometimes unwillingly and I feel bit sad about it.

I think our tiredness from long journey had gotten us through recent illness, maybe we got some bug on the way and both fell ill with sour throat and fever .
      You too stay well!

  9. Oh no.... typhoid? That sounds awful. I understand there is a kind of antibiotic that is available. I'm so glad you were able to recover from it safely with the medications you took.
Thank you for your visit. This is a difficult time we're living in.
We haven't been to Pakistan yet, although we were in Bangladesh for a while when our son was doing some research there. We had an interesting cruise through the Sundarbans.
Have a fabulous time in luxurious Islamabad.

    1. Dear Kay🥰
Many thanks for your visit and leaving lovely comments!
I hear from other people that typhoid is rare disease and can get you once in lifetime.but sadly my case is different and I have started to get it thrice to four times a year. Doctors are unable to explain anything about it and timely medicine doesn’t work after a while. I wish I could do more to get rid of it.
O how amazing you visited Bangladesh which is our neighbourhood. Your son seems to hold some very special job . I bet you have had some wonderful time there. Pakistan had diversity of landscape and seasons, culture is rich and people are warm despite rising economical conditions. We see foreigners visiting northern parts .Islamabad has plenty of foreigners living in for various reasons.
      Stay blessed ♥️🙏

  11. The moral obligation of a son is to provide for the safety and well being of his parents at some point in his life.
    That’s the way I feel.

  12. First, a huge congratulations on the move to Islamabad. What an incredibly beautiful and selfless gift from your eldest son; it sounds like an absolute haven of quiet luxury, and he is truly a blessing to your family. I am so incredibly sorry to hear that your old nemesis, typhoid, decided to strike right before your massive 12-to-14-hour bus journey! You are incredibly tough for powering through that travel while recovering. While those 4-to-5-kilometer walks sound absolutely irresistible in a city as beautiful as Islamabad, please promise to listen to your body and pace yourself so you can fully heal! With the windstorms and heavy rains predicted for this coming week, it sounds like the perfect excuse to curl up in your lovely new apartment, rest up, and take a gentle break from the world. Sending you so much love, peace, and continued healing for your stay!

Warmth of your heartfelt words touches my heart deeply! Thank you so much for appreciating our eldest son’s kindness and how he treats his family with love and support, our hearts keep praying for him too🥹🙏
Undoubtedly he is blessing to his family and everyone around him by the grace of God!
Apartment is so nice and cozy and we are enjoying our stay thoroughly.
After publishing this post me and hubby got sour throat and fever next day and we had to quit walks . But thankfully taking medicine on time helped and we are recovering. Though weakness seems to restrain us walking in next few days 😔
Sadly it has not rained in Islamabad since one week ago. We hear about rains in surrounding areas though . Yesterday densely cloudy and lightening and winds were showing up but clouds disappeared eventually without pouring rain.
I think you are so right about listening to the body and taking rest, I probably forced my body to do more than it’s capable. Rest is the only option we both got after feeling ill now. So that’s gonna continue for next few days hopefully
Sending you heartfelt best wishes and lots and lots of love ♥️

  19. You have the best son, Baili! But his love for you and Ali reflects the love and support that you have given him. Enjoy your special time in Islamabad. How awful that you have to deal with recurring typhoid! And yay to you for going on long walks in the city. That is so important (says someone who has not been going on long walks and needs to. 😂). Much love to you, Ali, and your three wonderful sons! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
