Hey Beautiful Souls!
Hope shining with grace and spreading your beauty and light to the world around you π₯°
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your heartfelt and beautiful comments π I really appreciate your encouragement and support.it uplift my spirits always and realisation that I am blessed with so many kind and caring friends brighten up my day π₯Ήπ€♥️
One thing I want to say that we are watching news regularly since Iran and America war began. And knowing about the heatwave in Europe,in France particularly is truly heartbreaking! Deaths of vulnerable people due to heat melt my heart with deep sorrow!!!
I complain about the extremely hot weather in southern Pakistan during summers. But no matter what our bodies have become habitual to it . I feel more sad for European friends who are not used to such terrible heat suffering because of this!
I wish and pray that this phase may end asap and weather may be better by the grace of Godπ
When we arrive in Islamabad around two weeks ago weather was very nice and pleasant. But as July is knocking on the door days are getting too hot, enough to avoid outdoor activities. Even though air blows throughout the day yet sunlight is unbearable unlike two weeks back when we would walk in sunshine without getting sweaty. I am more concerned about muggy weather from mid July to till the end of the August π
But life goes on no matter what right?
Another utterly painful news was about recent earthquake in the venezuela !!! There are no words to describe the pain and suffering my heart feels to see this! Whenever we see in news that people are being rescued from underground it brings little relief to heart but knowing that thousands are still missing sounds horrible! Praying from the bottom of my soul may things be brighter and may darkness be erased by the grace of God!
We too received shakes of earthquake on 27 th June 6:35 pm. Magnitude was recorded 5.9 . Four of us were in different rooms, and all of us ran into tv lounge and shared what we felt. It was in news all over at night. Few old houses collapsed and few injuries were reported, nothing serious thankfully π
Such situations in life show uncertainty of life powerfully!
Still we try to move forward gratefully because whatever we have been given as life or in life is blessing and not our personal earningπ
We will stay grateful for the relief God brought us by giving us opportunity to move here for two months at least π
Ok I have said in previous post that I will share about my health issues in next post so here I am. After arriving here in Few days ,one night I felt sick , it was like my head walls were pushing away by some kind of gas inside my head. I felt miserable and anxious, in some minutes hardly my whole face was feeling hot , and red dots like rising round things appeared on my face. Hubby seemed to feel anxious and worried more than me . He wanted to take me hospital immediately but I asked him to calm down and give me zyrtec (antihistamine) . He agreed when I insisted. Tablet gave me timely relief, enough to go to bed.
Next morning we went to the hospital after breakfast. The hospital is though government one but famous for its valid medical treatment. For me it has special value because when i was little girl around ten I guess I would come to this hospital with my dear mother! One of my mother’s relatives recommended that to her who lived in Islamabad. My mother visited here numerous times after that and went through three surgeries here. Back then all the surgeries and medicines well most of them were free of cost luckily. So I can say that God made this hospital a source for my mother to healthy and longer life. Otherwise maybe she would have died with tuberculosis or other complications!
Anyway, hospital and everything about it is changed now . Since population has increased greatly in these 36 years, there are no measures taken by the authorities to meet the rising demand of medicine and treatment. It was sad to see such a bad condition of everything in the hospital!
Yet people from all corners of the country come here because the thing they think of is that it’s government hospital at least and despite all the disorganisation and lack of the sense of empathy for patients they won’t be robbed like private hospitals.
My first two visits were lucky enough to see bit senior doctors ( mid thirties) . As I had skin problem so my first visit was to the dermatologist who prescribed me medicine but when I mentioned that I had stomach ulcer in my youth,he referred me to the gastroenterologist. There a lady doctor was very nice ( hardly thirty)
She said I lack blood and that I need two injections and one injection through the drip immediately. It took two hours. There was mess in self created wards by partitions. Nurse borrowed a portion of the bed to sit on while drip on my hand. After few minutes my head felt heavy but place was overflowing with patients and there attendants . It was ward for emergency patients who come for little time.
Worst part of this is that you can never meet the same doctor. Hospital is packed with fresh medical students who have completed their degree and come to join as interns . No senior doctors are nurses available for serious treatment!
In my third visit to the hospital another doctor wrote some tests . All of them are done except endoscopy that is due after two weeks. Rest of the story will go further after that. I will keep sharing with you dear friends ! Actually when I mentioned that I had stomach ulcer and according to dermatologist current skin issue can be related to it , the younger lady doctor said that she can’t agree on previous diagnosis and treatment because ulcer can’t be caught in ultrasound. So endoscopy is very important and everything depends on the results.
I am taking medicine given by both dermatologist and gastroenterologist, I can see that they are working thankfully!
Yet I am bit concerned about what happened that night. Because the feeling in my head I felt is unforgettable honestly and I am looking forward to what comes out in results of endoscopy.
I have faith in God and hope is my strength dear friends!
Please stay safe and cool and healthy! Thinking of you all with love and prayers π♥️
Sending prayers that your tests all come out negative for issues.
ReplyDeletedear Kathy !
Deleteheartfelt thanks for your good wishes
Dearest Baili, I am praying that you find the answers and receive the treatment that you need to have a quick recovery! Waiting for answers can be an anxious time, but I am glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better already.
ReplyDeleteYes, the world seems to be suffering in so many places right now and it hurts the heart to think of those in harm's way. I pray for mercy towards all those who suffer.
Life is fragile and precious and in the time we have here it so important to treat each other with love and kindness, for we never know when we might need the same.
Sending you healing thoughts and prayers, dear friend. xo K
dear friend Karen!
Deleteit's lovely to hear from you and learning that all is fine with you and family!
thank you so much for your heartfelt kind words!
you are right that waiting for such medical answers is hard and brings anxiousness
i am eager to know the reason behind such sudden trauma i went through that night and whether it's something new or related to to my chronic health issue .
dear Karen learning everything happening in this world makes we wonder sometimes if i can shut down my senses and be unaware of suffering people going through !
i have little knowledge of the history and i know that world was never a heaven but place where life grew and move further among joys and pains at the same time
what has changed is that now we have numerous ways to know everything and immediately .which keeps us feel miserable mentally no matter how better life we have sadly
i fully agree with you that sharing love and kindness is only thing that can make world better place and i really wish we all understand this
thanks for your generosity dear friend !
same prayers and love for you from my heart as well!
We don't know the suffering of the people in the earthquake' I' hope as many as possible can escapd
ReplyDeletedear Red
Deleteas the days are passing the possibility of finding people alive is decreasing unfortunately .
there must have been more possibility if multiple teams were looking for the people
Hope you will and are feeling improved, and good luck with the test coming up in two weeks.
ReplyDeleteSuch dreadful things happen in this world and I had no idea the earthquare was felt in your area.
Take care.
dear Margaret
Deletethanks for your kind words!
o yes we ourselves felt shaking and moving of things and latter we learned from news that our whole country had that vibration which was centred in neighbouring country afghanistan within hindokush mountains range
It's sad to hear the news each day so I try to keep off the news now and then to keep balanced in the mind and emotions. I know each summer the weather is getting so extreme not only in Europe but in North America though it seems more deaths in parts of Europe. At least here there are some measures to help people. The local authorities open the community centres where there is air conditioning and cold water to drink. Also our government provides some air conditioning units to low income people to help them survive as most people here do not have air conditioning. For my household we survive by dressing lightly (indoors and as much as possible outdoors), drinking lots of water, keeping the fans going as needed and keeping the windows open if there is a breeze. Some summers I keep blinds and windows closed until evening if it is really hot and still air outside. It helps a lot. I pray that you will get a good result from your tests and good doctors to help you with the next steps. xx
ReplyDeletedear Joyful
Deletehonestly me and hubby had quit watching news for long time until iran America war began .
despite realisation it impact mental health negatively we are following news regularly this time . one thing feels so true that knowledge is blessing and curse on same time !
my heart feels really sad for european people who are suffering from sudden heatwave .i can totally relate because after my marriage when i moved in southern part of the country i felt miserable for many years .it takes long time your body to adopt new weather conditions and environment
this sounds really amazing and nice that your country has ways to help people in having air conditioning .
we too just like you try to close sources of hot air and light until evening time in hot summer season . even monsoon is muggy and very hot here
heartfelt thanks for your sweet words and prayers dear friend!
my heart feels same for you!
Wars, earthquakes, heatwaves ... what a worrying, concerning, bewildering and quite frightening world we live in at the moment.
ReplyDeleteI am very sorry to read of your health issues and will say a prayer for you.
I hope you have improved and may your test go well for you.
My very good wishes.
All the best Jan
Dear Jan
DeleteIsn't it painful to know that most of the suffering are because of us and our false desire
We were given home to live in full of everything we can need ever. But what have we done to it is unfortunate reality!
Thanks for your good wishes dear friend!
I am glad that you are not only feeling better but also that the doctors are looking for the cause of your not feeling well. The earthquake you felt had to be scary. The war between America and Iran is so upsetting. We are told almost every day that it is over. Then bombs start all over again. Pakistan seemed to be doing a good job of mediating and trying to help. Now I read that our negotiators are having a good time in Qatar. I want it over.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for your sweet words dear Emma!
DeleteI am looking forward to test results so things can improve
Yes earthquake was scary as we have seen in news how disastrous was recent Venezuela 's earthquake. me , hubby and children felt so shocked and confused that couldn't run towards elevator or stairs honestly
I share your hopes for permanent solution of the war
Baili will be praying for a good return to health. I believe all over the world medicine and doctors and medical treatments have changed. Am glad you have a good doctor following up with your condition. Yes, it seems like our weather patterns and disasters continue to affect all of us everywhere. It is extremely hot here in my part of the world. Take care friend. God bless you.
ReplyDeleteSweet Debbie
DeleteThank you for your warm words!
I have to agree with you on change how patients are being treated. It's nothing like before sadly, things were quite positive and supportive hardly thirty years ago, but now it seems that doctors and whole system that involve human dealing has been rotten, sometimes I think that growing population and loads of patients over the system including doctors can be one reason. People have lost sense of empathy and cooperation. And it's freaking common people who have to go through such depressing things and behaviours. Doctors are not the exception unfortunately qho have to see more than two hundred patients within 5 hours. Does this make sense?
Nature like everything else has both aspects, it's provider', kind and healing but on the other hand it is ruthless and carefree. We humans seem so vulnerable to it's rude and unkind behaviour!
Hope you get some cool weather dear friend. God bless you π
We feel so helpless when we see the images of that tragedy, dear baili.
ReplyDeleteHelplessness is the right word to define what we feel such situations dear Pedro
DeleteIn October 2005 one of the worst earthquake came in northern part which wasn't too far from my native village. I can't find words to say how terrified I felt and helpless because it was reminder from nature how tiny and vulnerable we are before her limitless powers!
Hello Baili, I didn't know about your earthquake, Im glad nobody in your house was harmed. Concerning to read of your health issues and I hope the cause is found and treated quickly, your hubby is right to be concerned, he is a good man. Regarding your comment on my blog: I can't access your email address but wanted to tell you that I use Youtube and I video on my Galaxy mobile phone, then use 'create' which enables the phone to create a video from several/more than one in the photo gallery. That video then becomes one big one, which I then use YT Studio (youtube's app) to make into a compatible video to upload to Youtube. It's a lot easier than it sounds as I am not technically minded. I don't use expensive equipment or a camera, its just my mobile phone but its good enough for my needs and I think you would enjoy trying it - it would be amazing to see a live video of you, your home, garden, just imagine! Betty

ReplyDeleteDear Betty, thank you so much for your kind concern!
Later news revealed that earthquake was the vibration of the major earthquake in Venezuela and that more such energy vibrations are expected due to the two plates crossing activities unground .
Only few Injures were reported and some old houses collapsed here and there. Nothing serious thankfully!
Hubby is one of the most caring men I ever seen yes , but as I said it was late night and we hardly knew where to go. Secondly my mind went to allergy immediately for some reason and it worked for the time being thank goodness
Heartfelt thanks for sharing how you create your videos. I am sharing email, it's bayleeandi@gmail.com
And I will try to follow the procedure when ever I will make good videos hopefully
Love ❤️
Best wishes for your health
ReplyDeleteHi, Baili! Yes, the news out of Venezuela is heartbreaking. Earthquakes are terrible, and it is difficult to predict them. You are so right: life goes on. And thank goodness it does. I have had way too many endoscopies and colonoscopies. Just relax through them. The prep is the worst. π± Hopefully, your doctors will figure out what is going on. One day at a time. That is my mantra. Much love to you!
ReplyDeleteExperiencing an earthquake tremor like that must have been incredibly terrifying, but thank goodness everyone in the house ran to safety and stayed unharmed. Dealing with sudden health scares and navigating a packed hospital on top of that stress takes a lot of strength, though it is comforting that the medication is already providing some relief while you wait for the endoscopy results. Your deep empathy for the people dealing with the intense heat across Europe and the tragedy in Venezuela really shows the beauty of your spirit, and keeping a grateful heart through your own challenges is honestly inspiring.
ReplyDeleteDear Baili, I am so sorry you had such a frightening night and such a difficult hospital experience. May the medicines keep helping, may the endoscopy bring clear answers, and may gentle strength surround you until worry gives way to peace. Holding you in my thoughts and wishing you healing, comfort, and brighter days ahead. John
ReplyDeleteDear Baili, I wish you good health, dear friend! I totally understand health issues because I deal with some myself. I heard about the devastating earthquake! Please stay safe, I made a special post on my blog just to let people know my "news", because my presence on blogs has been sporadic due to the intense heat and humidity we have been experiencing here in Montreal, Canada.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you, and I am sending you much love and hugs!
Baili, I was sorry to read about your continuing health issues and hope you will be feeling much better soon. The worst part of feeling bad is not knowing what i wrong, so I hope that you receive answers soon to put your mind at rest. It has been very hot here in the past week, but surely nothing like the heat you have been experiencing and today was quite nice with rainstorms predicted for tomorrow, and most welcome.
