Feeling insane ,overwhelmed with chores
Flowing swiftly away from the shore
Waves are crazy ,putting upside down
Time’s river looks like a frowned
Rushing moments very loud and bold
How to stop ? nothing is to hold
Craving for little island to breathe
Cozy silence, is all that I need
To be still ,feel firm and be me
But don’t know when it happens to be
Till then I have to surrender to flow
Till then I have to be on my toes
Though despite the maddening days
I am able to enjoy these ways
To create in the still lake a ripple
It’s fine to throw sometimes a pebble !
Dear beautiful friends heartfelt thanks for being with me 🥰🙏

DeleteI will also be doing chores here on this side of the world. We can do them together. 😊
ReplyDeleteOh how sweet of you my kind dear friend 🥰 yes I would love to join 👍♥️
DeleteBeautiful, Baili. I will be posting on Mondays and Thursdays right through Christmas and the New Year. Some people get lonely, depressed or stressed over the holidays and I wanted to offer something in my posts that will hopefully bring some brightness and calm from the chaos.
ReplyDeleteSending you much love and warm hugs.
You are very thoughtful and sweet dear Linda 🥰
DeleteI hope you can find and enjoy a little oasis of time, peace and relaxation for yourself soon!
ReplyDeleteDear friend Debra ,we just returned from one of our niece house.she had invited us over lunch and spending some hours in her pleasant company was quite lovely 🥰
DeleteAh Baili your words certainly caught the essence of a busy life. I pray you can find some quiet time to be silent and hear God's still voice. Bless you friend. Hugs!
ReplyDeletePrecious friend Debbie I loved how you realised that I miss that certain feeling of deep connection with God by being still and calm 🥹
DeleteYes it’s true when I am overwhelmed sometimes ,but I am grateful for that divine feeling of being present in the ocean of God’s obvious grace 🥹 wherever I look I find myself surrounded by his presence 🥹🙏♥️
If it’s some kind of addiction,I am born with it!
Your river runs deep, dear Baili, yet still you shine,
ReplyDeleteFinding calm in the whirl, a quiet moment divine.
May a small peaceful island soon come into view,
Where breath returns gently … and time slows for you.
John 😊
Dear John 🥰
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to hear from you 🥰
I love how beautifully you respond through your lovely poetry 🤗
We all have that island inside us I believe though we need a moment to reach it and spend sometime ☺️
Here in small town like city life feels still like calm surface of lake, my sister’s visit stimulated the stillness by creating hustle and bustle , despite I feel exhausted sometimes,I realise that beauty of this vibrant phase of my routine and value it 😊
Hello Baili,

DeleteYou need a break! Hide for about 10 minutes. Do nothing except chuckle as everyone else looks for you. Then reappear as if no time has passed. You will feel refreshed.

ReplyDeleteDear Baili, your poems are so beautiful. I find it amazing that someone can write so well in a foreign language. I'm sorry that I don't have much time for blogging just now but after the holidays I hope to be able to visit you more often.

ReplyDeleteWow, that poem really captures the feeling of life moving way too fast.
ReplyDeleteHow perfectly you captured what I am feeling, Baili! But I have no still lakes around me, only choppy waves. Here's to a more peaceful 2026! Love and hug to you, my sister-friend! ❤️
