I don’t know what to say
When I look at the sun ray
Getting down from the sky
Sprinkling over views from high
Making everything so bright
Whatever she does seems right
Giving chance of wake and grow
Keeping everyone on their toes
Bringing challenges to life
Showing way even to naive
Raising fights and arguments
Storm of emotions,doubts and hints
Success, failure and struggle
Everyone fighting his own battle
When sun pulls back his net of rays
Leaving exhausted souls on bay
Despite of all loss and gain
Everyone wants to have it again
I don’t know what to talk
When I look at the dark
Hiding world under his cover
Causing out feelings that differ
Sense of peace,calm and rest
Bringing everyone back to nest
Fear ,despair, sadness and grief
Loneliness, nightmares and sweet dreams
Memories cooking on emotions steam
Tears ,regrets,silent screams
Opening long shut window of soul
Lost in life’s rock and roll
For the hearts who can create
Is so much in night’s plate
Thoughts and feelings flip and flap
Moulded to artistic shape
Those wounded by day’s wars
Get new hope under twinkling stars
Whether darkness or the light
I believe let’s not divide
Both are doing their job
Each holding it’s separate knob
Quiet existence side by side
Complementing each other’s pride
Nice thoughts, thank you.
ReplyDeleteYes, we need both the positive and the negative of life.
ReplyDeleteA lot of turbulent emotions in this poem! I liked your image of the "net of rays."
ReplyDeleteYou are talented
ReplyDeleteYou are very talented, dear Baili.
ReplyDeleteIt is so true that we need balance in life. Knowing that if we can just deal with the bad times the good times will return is what keeps us moving forward.
ReplyDeleteFood for thought, Baili. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYour words weave thoughts and emotions so well ...

It has been my great pleasure to become a blog friend over this past year, Baili. Thank you very much for this poem, especially as we celebrate the Christmas holiday here.
ReplyDeleteYou say many good things in your poems. If people fallowed some of these ideas we would have A MORE PEACEFUL WORLD.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and your family, dear baili
ReplyDeleteDeeply thoughtful and hopeful, though giving voice to life's sorrows too. I like it.
ReplyDeleteA very thoughtful poem, Baili. The idea of complementary existence is easy to understand when thinking of partnership. My husband and I are not opposing type but have so many differences as well as similarities, and we've made up for each other to live a fulfilling life. And in our own heart, not avoiding but embracing negative feelings helps us to foster growth and resilience. Wish you a peaceful New Year.

Thank you dear Yoko for encouraging and enlightening comment 🥰
DeleteI really appreciate how beautifully you put it by sharing your personal experience.
Yes I fully agree that escaping from reality is not the solution but acknowledging it and facing it with broad perspective can add depth and richness to our lives.
That is so beautiful .. It says so much in an amazing way. Happy New Year to you and the family. I've been a bit lax about getting on my laptop for awhile.
ReplyDeleteDear friend Sandy 🥰
