Grateful For The Recovery , Art By Younger Son, Musical Library And Independence Day In Native Home

Hey Amazing heartsπŸ₯°♥️

Hope beating smoothly on the rhythm of life despite odds ♥️πŸ‘

Heartfelt thanks to each of you for sending your good wishes and healing thoughts to me on previous  my postπŸ₯ΉπŸ™♥️

Your words are my strength and I believe it was God’s grace, hubby’s much care and your prayers that helped me to heal in no time πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯ΉπŸ₯Ή

Yes my shingles healed within a week thank goodness and I am on my feet again since three days with utter grace of GodπŸ₯ΉπŸ™

Dear friend Sue said maybe I took some stress which led to that remnant of chickenpox bacteria reactivate . I contemplated over this for a while but couldn’t figure out what stress I might have taken . When I was writing her that I don’t think I was taking any stress these days my mind suddenly shook up with thought of extreme heat and humidity we have been suffering from. And my response to her question turned negative . Yes a struggle to move through extremely hot days are stressful undoubtedly 😞 Our body feels this stress unknowingly which results in such severe symptoms sometimes . Later we knew that not just our city but my native part is facing this problem and many people are having shingles unfortunately. I just hope that we can find vaccination for this painful disease here like other countries but seeing the signs I don’t think it’s going to happen any sooner ☹️

Anyway, after recovering I visited my mother in law which I have postponed last Friday due to tiredness. Then there was a small family gathering for fixing the marriage proposal between one of our nieces and nephews. Both are first cousins and in early twenties. Wedding will be determined later because mother of the bride isn’t well and having treatment for Asthma.

I want to thank Sue who kept texting me during my illness. It surly made pleasant affect on my mental health meanwhile, specially when I wasn’t able to walk at all. She is sweet and such an inspiration πŸ₯°♥️

Hubby was great support too who didn’t leave my side even for a while . Even he was looking after household, cooking particularly and supervising youngest son for few necessary pieces of jobs as well, he attended my shingles twice to thrice a day so healing can be achieved quickly. And it worked miraculously πŸ₯ΉπŸ™

I am grateful for having my mobility back and I will try to keep it slow so heat doesn’t act on physical weakness as severely.

Destruction brought by climate change has damaged national economy hugely and badly unfortunately and watching how much damage has been caused one can assume that reconstruction will take longer time and more money to recover from such traumatic conditions πŸ˜žπŸ˜”☹️

It is assumed that after every seventy years when our planet changes its pools such severity of situation is witnessed. I wonder how much time it will take weather  to settle down and behave normal again?

No matter how far we have come in modern technology and advancement on various levels , when it comes to face Nature’s fury we seem like a string in the ocean πŸ˜”

Sharing  art created by younger son from Karachi. All educational academies and offices were closed in order to solve issues of rainwater that has turned the city in big pond . Thankfully things are getting better quickly after monsoon spell is gone πŸ™ Younger son also shared few pics of an interesting place he had visited with friends. It’s quite a big musical library which was owned by someone who had great fondness for Urdu music. I wish my son could have tell me name of the owner. But for some reason he couldn’t learn it.

Centaurs Mall Islamabad,  we don’t eat out most of the time but luckily youngest son found a deal in which plate for one person included spinach along with chicken,we had only spinach dish with bread which was so delicious and later harmless as well thankfully πŸ€—

The big round pot in our front yard provides some very delightful treats for eyes and soul always πŸ₯°♥️

Younger son created this on his sketch book first and then  on his tablet, characters are from the game he had created online for community in which he initiated the story and other participants adds layers to his story twice a week I think. He said he is enjoying how people share their ideas and story plant getting taller slowly. Reminds me that maybe such ideas existed in past as well but right now I can’t remember where I could locate it.

Pakistan has rich history of art and literature. I was fortunate to witness some good peaceful years before internet and social media turned things into rapid and artificial thinking which exists on surfaces and fears to getting into depth. Reading books, listening music, being creative with innate gifts was normal because people’s had time to slow down and contemplate. It’s often said that why great people or ideas aren’t being produced anymore. I think because we got to busy with escapism and stay busy in entertaining our surface thoughts only . Term use it or loose it frightens me when I think of consequences of it πŸ˜”☹️

These glimpses made my eyes teary at first because brought lots of memories back when I would listen music most of the day on radio while growing up πŸ₯Ή

I am sure many of you are familiar with this gramophone machine, my parents though did not have it I guess but they mentioned listening music on gramophone, maybe they had it before I was born ♥️ I think it’s pretty modern version of that old one.

My brother’s daughter celebrated 14 August Independence Day with her cousins and shared few glimpse of how they all dressed up for the occasion πŸ€— .me and my sister and our dear mom would celebrate our Independence Day with patriotic enthusiasm when we were in school πŸ₯Ή♥️πŸ₯°

Thank you for being with me precious friends, hope you found my simple post interesting ☺️

You all are in my thoughts and prayers always sweet people, please stay positive and grateful for gifts you have and keep spreading your light among all around you πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯°♥️
Health, peace and happiness to you all and to all you love ♥️πŸ™

  1. Wow! Baili your recovery story is very happy news and I think also miraculous. How wonderful that you have not suffered so long, even a week or two is bad enough. I'm glad your friend Sue was able to keep in contact with you while you were recovering. Since you couldn't walk I'm sure the visits with her were very welcome indeed. I do love the photos of the old vinyl records and record covers. I haven't owned a gramophone for many years. Here we used to call them record players. But I saw one that looks like the one you are sharing. I saw it on the day I bought the 2 books at the thrift store. I wanted to buy the record player but it was very expensive and heavy. I also didn't have time to test it. Perhaps one day I'll be able to buy one. Your younger son is very talented with the drawing and in engaging others in the game he has developed. I'm sure he gets a lot of excitement out of it. Congratulations to your husband who has done a great job in looking after things while you were recovering. More happiness to you.

Yes believe me that I too haven’t expected to recover within a week because according to the wife of my brother and sister of my sister they saw patients with same disease who haven’t recovered in two weeks. I feel truly deeply grateful to God who gave me chance to recover soon for whatever the reason it was πŸ₯ΉπŸ™

Oh you liked this record player my friend πŸ€— I hope some day you can have one like this with privilege to test it before buying it ☺️
Our younger son is quite very fond of drawing and does whenever he finds free time. I loved how he is developing imaginary story with his online community of friends and bringing his characters to life as he did here seems impressive job πŸ‘♥️
I am really blessed to have such a caring and loving life partner dear Joyful πŸ₯Ή♥️πŸ₯° he is great person by the grace of GodπŸ₯°♥️

  3. I'm so glad to hear you're doing better now. I agree, those high temps and humidity are stressful in themselves, no wonder you got sick. I wonder why your country hasn't adopted shingrix, the shingles vax? Some trade issue, maybe. I hope that can be solved, because it's do much better than getting so sick.

  5. It seems we have more books than ever, but little time to enjoy them. It's an artificial speed up of time and distraction. Probably, most of us can slow down if we try, but there is one more video to watch. πŸ˜‚ Distracted describes our world, but it doesn't have to.

I'm glad your shingles have stopped! What a blessing to have such care. 🩡

    1. Changing times are making people adopt new habits dear Sandi which is normal and acceptable.what makes things bad is we lose control over our desires for timely pleasures which ruin our ability to keep balance and chose wisely.
We have people here who still prefer good book over spicy shows but to be honest overall how life has changed everything is affected bitterly.
Oh I feel blessed and really grateful πŸ₯ΉπŸ™

  8. Beautiful photos and a lovely sketch! I do remember the gramophone! Here in Canada we called it a record player! Vinyl records are still being sold today, people love vintage and the great memories of days gone buy. And even record players are being sold as well. Some say that the crackling sound of the vinyl records give it a heartwarming sound, kind of like a fireplace! Such a lovely post, Baili! Thank you so much for sharing.

Love what your youngest son has done, very beautiful and a talented young man it seems.
The records, oh my they are still making a few apparently and I remember one of my uncles having a gramophone with a handle of it that you turned many times as no power was needed, a long time ago when I was only a child.
    Take care.

I enjoyed seeing all the records and the record player. I have quite a collection and have spent many, many hours listening to records throughout my life. I'm going to sell or donate all my records, CDs, and DVDs though. I listen to everything online now, and I must pare down our belongings! (Swedish Death Cleaning. πŸ˜‚). Oh thank you for adoring Asad’s art . I remember when he was preparing for the university we asked him he can pursue career in art if he wants to because he’s got gift for that . But he said he will see and then one day he informed he chose computer science and we were happy in his choice because it’s his life and he is free to choose πŸ₯°♥️

I can relate to feelings mom and grandma shared often when we little, they would say it’s sad how things have changed over the time. They felt hard to adjust in news changes when the ratio of changes were quite low. We have witnessed biggest change via the arrival of modern technology and I am finding it harder how to not miss old peaceful times when people had time to spend together πŸ˜”

I know my aunt dealt with it in her later years but we weren't in touch. Okay ..now that art - ..wow, he is talented. I'm impressed!! It was great seeing the library (beautiful) and the records. I have so many LP's albums and gave them all to a thrift store in 2001. It was all the 60's and 70's music. I wish I still had them. That is a really nice photo of you and your husband... Sue sounds like such a good friend to keep tabs on you. Heat and humidity is stressful. We're just getting over some monsoonal weather that hit up here in the mountains.
