Hope and pray that everyone is having blessed day by the grace of God!🙏
Our weather has taken a pleasant turn since it’s raining throughout the country including capital city Islamabad. Temperatures are spinning around 35 to 24 c and you can imagine how it makes us happy and grateful 🥹🙏 Time is running speedily and days to get back to our hot city are getting closer. For the first time in life hubby and me don’t want to leave surprisingly 🤗. And it’s only because of the glassed wall that gives us strong feelings of connection with nature 🥹☺️🤗🥰🤗 it’s beautiful here with everything so perfect 🤗🙏 But we will be leaving for home before July ends anyway 😅. Sharing below glimpse of our little joys in previous week.
Dear friend Sue and I keep in touch once a while . Sue is a wonderful person who participates in life to fullest by the grace of God! She and her husband John run some company related to computer systems. She teach badminton to younger students and writes for a magazine as well for which she has to go through different ways including interviewing people from various professions and backgrounds. She inspires every heart who is in love with life 🥰 Sue has mentioned once that she would like to see highlights of markets I visit here. So I have captured not some perfect but random pictures during our visit to Karachi company market,I always wondered about this dislocated name of the market so when I googled about it this article showed up Karachi company . Thanks Sue for showing interest in our capital city ♥️. I will try to share some more photos in future.
This year market seemed quite and lonesome because of CDS crack down of illegal occupancy by so many sellers. I realised that majority of the customers would prefer to buy from those cheap shops on midways and footpaths. Most of the shops had some, few or no customers. Hubby said the occupants will return by bribing the municipality because such changes don’t stay for long .
Taken another day in same market while hubby and me were taking tea
Bed sheets shop , I realised I never bought anything like this from here
Most of the shop owners use the walking area as well for which they have to pay extra charges I guess
The samosa and pakora shop , such shops have long queues during morning and evening hours
Now, one of the lovely news , my dear friend Shazia visited us in our apartment and it made me so happy 🥰🤗 she came with her youngest son who is 20 years old and second year in university. Best thing she stayed for one night and two days which makes it longest period of time we spent together ever 😊 we had best time chatting 😍
We visited the Centaurs Mall where we did some shopping and had ice cream after few years 😃 children ate pizza and chips with cold drinks as usual. This will stay with me for long 🥰

Safa gold mall has far smaller crowds than Centaurus Mall even after food court has been altered
While paying on the counter i took this shot as view was truly captivating

It was quick click while walking in the Golra market near by , it reminded me days when we would drink from clay pots in clay bowls, though clay pots are things of the past now but clay things still fascinate and interest many of us even today including me 😊
Heartfelt thanks for bearing with me precious friends 🥰🙏
Health, peace and happiness to you all and to all you love 🥰🙏♥️♥️♥️
Lots of lovely items to browse through in those markets! I would definitely want to eat some of those delicious samosas and pakoras. Glad you had a fun visit with your friend Shazia!
