Hey Sweet Hearts 🥰
Hope and pray that all is well with you and yours 🙏
We are fine but little sad that younger son had to leave for the university for some subjects issues. He tried hard that matter can be solved online but it couldn’t. We see off him last night on national bus terminal. We asked him to return if issue is resolved soon.Let’s hope for the better!🤞
Since it’s raining once in while here we are feeling grateful for lovely weather which is just a dream in Sindh where we live ☹️
Believe it or not for the first time in my life I am not missing my beautiful home .And this is because apartment has a one whole wall made up of glass facing gorgeous margalla hills and I don’t want to leave this most missed sight of my life as you know I grew up in home facing beautiful hills 🥹 sharing few lovely things we experienced while sipping our tea together .
As I used to mention in many of the my old posts that sparrows were in abundance in my native town along with robins and starlings. During winters our village would have lots of migratory birds from colder parts of the world. I missed having sparrows around too often in Sindh province after my marriage . Watching sparrows close by was a kind of an emotional experience 🥹🥰♥️
It was becoming a consistent feeling to reconnecting with life I used to live once 😊♥️
I captured the first rainy day after our arrival here , the rain didn’t just washed the entire view but seemed to water our souls starving to see rain fall ☺️🥰♥️
The beauty of this apartment is mostly due to the glass wall that connects me with nature . When curtains are removed natural light brightens everything and my heart feels eternal peace 🥹
This keeps us calm mentally so urge for daily outings lessens automatically. But we go for evening walks regularly though when my legs feel much tired we take one day off. Walk from here to the central market is 5km almost so you can say we walk ten km after each one day break. Me and hubby doing our exercises daily morning as well which means stronger legs ready to walk.
At night watching tv is together is the option. We are unable to tune Netflix for some reason. So I tried and found out an old drama of popular channel Hum tv run in 2024 which I have skipped. It turned out to be A beautiful drama drama actually with lots of messages needed badly by our society! We watched last episode last night. We all felt inspired by the story and the way it was played on screen. Even our youngest son didn’t missed the single scene of this show which reveals the strength of a great project.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being with me precious friends 🥰♥️🙏
Thinking of you all with love and prayers in my heart for you and yours🙏🥰
God Bless you all 🙏🥰♥️♥️♥️
Yes, what a beautiful view! Enjoy your time looking at it!
ReplyDeleteThe view is lovely and the birds visiting are a wonderful sight too. They stir up fond memories, Baili, which are always welcome. That is a long walk to the market but enjoyable by the sound of it too. Continued enjoyment to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a lovely view.
ReplyDeleteThat is the best view. My childhood horizon was hills, and I feel most at home seeing fields stretching out to hills. So I think I understand your feelings when you look out.
ReplyDeleteI makes me so happy that you are enjoying your new home. It is even better that the men in the family like it too.
ReplyDeleteA relaxing view is always a comfort to the soul
ReplyDeleteMountain in Macau, nature in Coimbra, river in Gaia.
I'm lucky.
A very nice view, it is pleasant to look out the window and see the hills and mountains, not everyone is blessed to be able to see.
ReplyDeleteDo hope your youngest son gets his university stuff sorted out and can return to your holiday place there in the much cooler weather.
You do walk indeed a long way each day, and good on you.
Take care.
Dear Baili, It gladdens my heart to hear how much you have been enjoying your beautiful views and the sparrows that visit you. It is so refreshing to the spirit to have nature at our fingertips to enjoy. I hope your son will be able to resolve his subject issues and return to join you soon. Blessings to you and your lovely family.
ReplyDeleteLovely view
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are not missing your home. It's a beautiful place and you should just enjoy every minute. Thank you for the wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteIt’s wonderful, Baili, to read that you are having such a great time away with family and enjoying great views from your apartment window. As you know looking out from our windows is something I enjoy as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely views of the Margalla hills ...keep on enjoying them :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Uma vista muito bonita. Achei curioso você sentir a falta dos pardais. Vai tudo correr bem com o seu filho.
ReplyDeleteUma boa semana.
Um beijo.
Beautiful views out the windows. I can see why its' so nice to be there.
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely that you are reconnecting with nature, baili. That is an important part of your past and now it is part of your life again. I understand why it was emotional for you.
ReplyDeleteHi, Baili! I am behind, and I am starting here and working forward. It has been chaotic here, but on Wednesday the cleaners are scheduled to clean up after all the renovations. Then perhaps Wednesday evening, certainly on Thursday, we can sleep upstairs in our bed! I can't wait! I am so glad that you are enjoying the beautiful view from your apartment. The hills are lovely. I can only imagine how wonderful the rain must feel to you! We've been having morning coffee on our deck each morning and enjoying the beauty of the sky and our birds and animals. We get pigeons too, and sparrows ~ but not many starlings. A gorgeous Coopers hawk flew up on our deck a couple of days ago. I love hawks, and I know that the red-tailed hawk is my spirit animal. I see them flying over the open space in front of us frequently. I hope that your younger on can sort things out with the university! Love to you all! I think of you EVERY day!
