Hello Sweetheartsπ₯°
Hope and pray that everyone is doing well by the grace of God!!!
We arrived in Islamabad on 12th June. Apartment rented by eldest son for us was a pleasant surprise π€
We all loved the coziness it offered but the most beautiful thing was view we were able to see from the glass wall π₯°π€π
Yes my most favourite thing, the foothills of Himalayan mountains that are called margalla hills here were lying lazily before when we removed the curtain π
Weather is nice with far better temperatures than our khairpur city ( 30 plus with highs and lows) though it hasn’t rained since we came but rains in higher parts are bringing relief thankfully π
We got back from my native village after two days stay which was full of fun and family gatherings π€♥️ we also did some light hiking after sunrise yesterday that seemed quite lovely π₯Ήπ₯°
Sharing some pics of the apartment and few glimpses from hiking.
Nostalgia is magical recreation of beautiful moments of past that refill your soul with long gone joys and energy π₯Ήπ₯°♥️
While standing on the hills and looking at lush fields below was certainly an uplifting and spiritual experience π₯°
I took these photos on the day we arrived at apartment and hills welcomed us quietly and smilingly π€
Thank you so much for your support and love dear friends ♥️♥️♥️π
I will be visiting you now soon hopefully π€
Thinking of you all with heart full of best wishes and prayers π₯°π♥️
Health peace and happiness to you all and to all you love ππ₯°♥️πΈ☘️πΊπΉπ♥️♥️♥️
Baili, that first photo of the view from the apartment window is beautiful and I can see and understand how it made you so happy. Where you are staying looks wonderful and very modern and I wondered if your sons are there as well. The news of your eldest son buying his first home is very exciting, but you did not say where it is as I know he has been working in England. There is much joy in your family and thank you for sharing your happiness, my blog friend.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for your lovely words dear Dorothy π₯°π
DeleteYes the apartment our eldest son has rented is very comfortable and beautiful π
Oh yes our both younger sons are with us and we are really happy and grateful for thisπππ♥️
Our eldest son has bought his first home in London dear Dorothy as he always has complained about the how expensive it is and live on rent in London. He has told us often that he is paying more than half of his salary in rent. Buying own house was his only concern since he he has been living in London for three years actually. It was huge pleasure and long time awaited moment when he could reached to point of getting loan for buying his own house by the grace of Godπ
So great to hear such wonderful news! The apartment is beautiful! I hope you are feeling well and the transition is going well for all of you. Such a lovely view! I am very happy for you. Thanks for sharing this exciting time. Wishing you lots of great memories at the new place and I am excited for your eldest son, too. ππΈππΈππΈ

ReplyDeleteHe is young to be so far along and getting a home. He must work very hard.
That is a beautiful vacation spot. The house looks like a palace and the view is heavenly!
Thank you precious friend Sandi π₯°π
DeleteMy eldest son has seen tough times while he was growing up here and specially when hubby managed to build our house in impossible circumstances almost. Eldest son is really hardworking and he has shown interest in growth as better human being on all levels. Though he is not materialistic but rather prefer to a balanced and healthy lifestyle and I feel grateful for his positive outlook on life.
I am happy you liked our vacation rental dear Sandi π€
For us it indeed is a palace for two months with bearable weather ππ₯°
Hugs and best wishes π₯°πΊππΉπΈ☘️❤️♥️

Thank you so much for best wishes for eldest son dear friend π₯°♥️
You have moved to a bright new apartment. Changes are needed.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful view there Baili. The apartment looks cool you are staying in and it's much better to be cooler than hotter where you live, I believe it's one of the hottest places in Pakistan, is Khairpur.
ReplyDeleteYour eldest son is doing very well to buy his own home, congratulations to him.
Take care, enjoy your days.
Dear Margaret π₯°
DeleteBig thanks for your lovely words!♥️
I agree that Khairpur is among the hottest places in the world and this is why I waited so long for hubby’s retirement. I doubt that we will be buying property in Islamabad due to sky high prices but I believe we can live on rent here for the rest of our life hopefully π€
This is truly grace of God who is blessing our son with wisdom and strength to do good in life ππ₯Ήππππ₯°
So true dear Red change adds freshness to our perspective which is essential for healthy mindset π₯°π€
ReplyDeleteDear Baili, your words are a radiant stream,
ReplyDeleteFlowing with love, like a sunlit dream.
From hills that whisper and skies that glow,
To moments with family, soft and slow—
The Margalla views through glass so wide,
Bring nature’s peace and soulful pride.
And your son’s new home—what joy, what grace!
May blessings bloom in his dwelling place.
Your spirit shines in all you share,
In every photo, every prayer.
We’re grateful, dear friend, for your kind heart’s song—
It lifts us up and carries us along. πΈππ

Congratulations to your son, Baili! Which part of London has he chosen? My oldest lives in London too, it's a big place! I hope he is near a park, somewhere green and calming :) Betty
ReplyDeleteDear Betty thank you so much for your lovely words!π₯°
ReplyDeleteSorry I don’t know in which part of London my son lives π
I will ask him when he will call this time . All I remember is he has said once that he had to rent a very expensive residence in central London only because he wanted to live close to his office. I think he has moved somewhere around it now.
How nice your son is also living in London dear Betty.it’s not that far for you which is great π€
What a heartwarming update. The love you have for your family and surroundings shines through every word. The view of the Margalla Hills sounds absolutely breathtaking, and your reflections on nostalgia are so moving. Congratulations to your son—what a wonderful milestone.
