Sharing some more photos from wedding ceremony I attended recently. Actually they hundreds of images and videos. As I told that it was my first chance after more than 30 years to participate any wedding event on my material side so I tried to save each drop (almost) of this joyous opportunity :)
Me and my youngest son stayed at my cousin 'house for 11 days. As we travelled in bus we saved one extra day as bus takes 12 hours from Sukkur to Islamabad via new China motorway unlike train which takes 22 hours though train is more comfortable because it offers birth (long seats for laying and rest) .
We preferred bus this time because it felt easier option due to less time of travel. Bus seats had tv on back which provided nice collection of English and Urdu music ,movies ,shows and documentaries . Seats were quite comfortable at night as they would bend long so passengers can feel most restful .
I was busy in household that missed me quite during my getaway but again thanks to my eldest son who bought me washing machine that hardly leaves any work for me except take out laundry and put for drying on wire :)
I wanted to share few more images that i received later and that give better look of both couples . hope you will find them nice as i loved them because of the joy they deliver to heart .Many best wishes for new couples who has just started their practical journey of life !
My cousin's daughter shared latest photo from her album ,she is standing with her husband
What a grand occasion!
ReplyDeleteyes it was grand occasion actually dear Debra
Deletemore then 1200 people were invited and there were many events ,some related to women only were celebrated at home yard and other four main events were held at banquets

DeleteGreat celebration for couples starting married life.
ReplyDeletemost of the marriages here start with such high enthusiasm dear Red which sounds great indeed :)
DeleteThe attire for the wedding is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteit is amazing how colorful outfits accelerate the virtual hype of celebration dear Marie :)
DeleteThese photos are beautiful. Enjoyed seeing all the different outfits. And such a long trip to get there. You must have been so happy to be there and celebrating with others.
ReplyDeletethank you so much dear Sandy for kind visit and words
Deleteit's always pleasure to hear from you my friend!
i am glad you enjoyed the colorful dresses of brides and grooms .our wedding ceremonies are always full of bursting hues which adds to vibration of the event joyously :)
Khairpur city (my city)distance from Islamabad is 491 point something for which train takes 22 hours and bust (since motorway completed) takes 11 hours though enjoyable more via train due to lush views on the way .bus trip was during night so we relied on different shows offered by tv on the back of front seat.
i was really happy to join my people there no doubt :)))
Hi Dear Baili,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on attending your first wedding event in over 30 years! It sounds like you had an amazing time and made the most of this joyous opportunity. The decision to travel by bus to save time and enjoy the entertainment on board seems like a wise choice, even though the train offers more comfort.
I'm glad to hear that your eldest son's thoughtful gift of a washing machine has made your household chores easier. It's always heartwarming when family members show their love and support in such practical ways.
The photos you've shared truly capture the happiness of the newlyweds, and it's evident that you have a lot of love and good wishes for them. May their journey together be filled with love, joy, and many wonderful moments. Thanks for sharing your experience and these beautiful images with us!
John
dear John you are really generous !
Deleteheartfelt thanks for such nice and encouraging words that reveal your wisdom and kindness to great extent!
actually travelling through bust was decision hubby made when he told that my youngest son will accompany me instead of him.
i suggested bus because it sounded safer option as we both could stay more close and firm this way .in train kids can stray to the gate or get down on any station to buy something and i thought it would be better to skip anything like that .secondly bust take less than half time that train takes so we all agreed .
i enjoyed the bust travel and chance of rest was okay as well
my eldest son is kindest soul i ever knew in my entire life John !
he has been helping us with lot of things since he in abroad but this washing machine is exceptional gift at this part of age for me ! may God fulfill all of his dreams as he helps his family and friends to achieve theirs amen!
i feel so blessed that God Allah has allowed to see me whole humanity as one family which make world my home and all my blood relatives!
indeed maternal family is only i have as close one so joining them in their special happy time will shining among most shiny memories always :)
best wishes to you and loved ones
knowing a little more about traditions quite different from ours, baili
ReplyDeletedespite difference of culture basic forms of celebrations and happiness resemble in many ways dear Pedro :)
DeleteThe photos of family are wonderful to see, so precious and the women are dressed beautifully and look so lovely...the bus trip sounds a good one having TV on the back of the previous seat!
ReplyDeletethanks for the likening of shared images dear Margaret!
Deleteoh yes buses are preferred for most because they take less than half time since motorway has been built from Islamabad ,hope further construction will be complete soon till Karachi .
as you know being middle aged we find train little easier because it facilitates with laying seats ,but seems buses are competing wll on this ground as well
I love seeing the photos. Everyone is so beautiful. Thank you dear friend.
ReplyDeleteoh many thanks for sharing your likening dear Nichole :)best wishes to you
