Yesterday after breakfast hubby left for grocery and on returned when he stopped for a while to greet my mother in law and younger brother ,he was informed that his sister in law (wife of eldest brother) was ill and took by her son to his home.in city close . I have mentioned visiting our this nephew when he had invited us at the ceremony of his only son's khatana. It was sudden news and despite of extremely hot day we decided to visit them as according to my younger brother in law she seemed serious .Riding 21 km on bike on such hot day could be dangerous for people of our age (52 to 55) but fortunately weather had become bit mild after windstorm last night. So we left our younger son at home who refused any cooking i offered and said he will be cooking his pasta later . Three of my kids are good at their cooking skills thankfully so i was ok with that. Bike ride remained pleasant throughout the way because as motorcycle moved air felt cool and cheery. I forgot my phone at home which i regretted when saw beautiful mango and date gardens on the way. Birds lacing the water ponds filled my heart with joy . Sky was not so clear and groups of wandering little clouds were marching randomly. Today temperature is 41 c ,though it was 37 most probably at 12:30pm when we left .
We had informed the family about our arrival so when we arrived everything was settled including lunch .People hardly pre inform their anchors which makes them feel stunned and bit uncomfortable for while (talking through personal experience) so i preferred to inform which provided us quality time together with anchors . Our Nephew attended us for half hour and left for his shop from where his assistant was calling him frequently. It was nice surprise that our sister in law to whom we went to see was looking bit better . Her daughter in law (wife of nephew) told us that she is up and able to talk after many days and it was possible after immediate intense treatment she received whole week here since we bought her here with us.
she is a very nice young lady with kind heart . She loves to be helpful to all around her .this photo was taken when she came with her husband to meet our eldest son in December 2022. Unfortunately she has some issues which prevented her being mother for so more than nine years . Then she expected but baby came premature . I have mentioned here in previous post in July 2010 about how her baby was in critical condition and i could help to save his life wit CPR .The boy is 13 now healthy and active by the grace of God > But couple was missing more children so my nephew adopted a newly born baby girl from her his elder sister. Samiya (this young lady) is really happy to have new child . And when i asked how she is feeling she said she is having best tie of her life as mother as baby girl came healthy and now when she is thirteen month old she runs around and keeps her busy all the time . she said all the disappointment and sickness that used to keep her down is gone now by the grace of God!
I feel good when see how sharing can wonders in the life of people. I have a another sister in law (wife of youngest brother of hubby) the couple is starving to have children but no miracle until in 10 years until now . But what hurts is that two of her sisters willing to give her their baby but their husbands are not consent .She does not want child from her in laws who are agreed but give and this is also heartbreaking for her husband as well.
Glad you could visit and get news
ReplyDeleteit was relief to learn she was better dear Christine
DeleteI'm sure your visit with your ill sister-in-law helped lift her spirits in this hard time.
ReplyDeleteit was an uplifting visit for both of us dear Debra
DeleteHow wonderful to visit family even though the occasion was not joyful. It is good that the young family were able to adopt the little girl. She will bee loved.
ReplyDeleteour nephew has adopted from his eldest sister dear Emma who has seven children five girls and two boys so she was happy to give her brother because she new the girl will be rising in more cared and loved environment
DeleteSo pleased you were able to visit.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers in your garden look lovely.
All the best Jan
glad you liked the blooms
DeleteIt was good you could spend some time with your ill family member. I bet she appreciated the visit!
ReplyDeleteI love the smiles from the garden!
thank you dear Marie
DeleteYou cover a lot of territory in this post. It's stressful when a vehicle breaks down. It's also very stressful when people want their own children but can't have them.
ReplyDeleteit is more stressful to get vehicle break down and stuck for people of older age and worst when day is extremely hot with 40c almost . this was our second time and each time God send us help thankfully .but i know anything can happen as life is never same or in single pattern always
Deleteyes it is heartbreaking that some people can't have children due to complexities in any partner . i feel bad because it is fifth couple i am seeing with such issue . my youngest brother in law grew before my eyes as when i got married he was ten hardly . he had great affection for children since he was young and would love to carry his nephews and nieces . he was famous for his love for children and God tested him for his biggest desire as after more than ten years of marriage he is still waiting to have baby . he has some weakness issues and tried many treatments but no hope until now . his wife has refused to adopt any baby belonged to in laws and her own brother in laws are doing same to her as well sadly .this is very sad
Basic humanism and education, baili.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week
and basic Nature as well dear Pedro whatever it was he earned the grace of God and gratitude of us
DeleteSeems you had a good visit and what a lovely dress, it really is beautiful with all that wonderful hand work.
ReplyDeleteHow lucky that a man stopped to help you both in the middle of nowhere. A lovely person indeed Baili.
dear Margaret though as girl long ago i personally found needle work annoying job but i adore the hard work and how strikingly beautiful it turns out .such dressing is quite popular in our part of land specially on wedding ceremonies and parties .being for little one it attracted me enough to capture it :)
ReplyDeleteindeed the young man was kind hearted and responsible person who stepped down from his bike and made the ladies wait who were with him . this is not matter of little fuel surly but the kindness and humanity he showed is unforgettable that saved us from trouble in such hot day .walking under scorching sun for more than an hour could have been consequential
Thank You Baili for this lovely post...so glad a angel showed up at just the right time...they are known for doing so! Sounds like you had a lovely visit. How pretty is your flowers too friend. Have a great day. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThose flowers are beautiful! I like flowers not only for their different fragrance and colors but, I also like the way they show the softer side of life.
ReplyDeleteSorry your family was ill and hope you don't catch it. I want to thank you for your wonderful comments. It truly blesses my heart. You are so thoughtful and caring. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteDear Baili –Nice to know you had a pleasant ride on your way to and unexpected incidence was helped by a kind person on your way back. In Buddhism, it is believed there are people who attained enlightenment eligible to go to the world of Buddha but decided to stay on earth to help people in suffering. You’re so thoughtful not taking picture of the sleeping newly adopted daughter not to wake her up. I like it when dress is made with such handwork of embroideries with nice colors and patterns. I love the colorful smiles in your garden, which must give you refreshing feel in the extremely heat.
ReplyDeleteYour comment on my blog always touches my heart. Thank you.

This post touched on so many things, Baili, the best parts were about family and not the mechanical breakdown of the motorbike. Thankfully, there are kind and helpful people in the world who helped. It is always good to visit family and your ill sister-in-law and sure she appreciated the visit as well. The dress was beautiful and sure it will look great on the little girl who will be a happy addition to the family and much loved.
