Floods And Gabi The Script Supervisor ♥️

Hello Beautiful HeartsπŸ₯°

Hope  beating with hope and faith despite all the ups and downs life brings !

I am little late for my weekly post sorry!  It’s just situation caused by cruel weather conditions has made me feel low these days. Hundred and thousands of people have been shifted to shelters because their villages and towns are almost drowned. More rains have been predicted. All the rivers are overflowing and water is entering in area near by in miles unfortunately. Some parts of the cities are included as well . The floods have been declared worst in the history after 1954. Our river Indus is supposed to get maximum water on 6th September, around 9 to 10 lac cusec . We live 29km away from sukkur where Indus River passes by. We haven’t received any warning yet but there seems intensity in the environment. All we the people can do is wait and hope for things will not go to extreme πŸ™☹️

I couldn’t think of anything better than beautiful pictures dear Sue shared last week. Actually I have thought that I will write about it on 7th of the October On Gabi’s birthday πŸ€— but to lighten up the gravity of this post I am going to share it today.Hope you will enjoy πŸ₯°

My eldest Ashen and Gabi at night of the screening

Gabi’s parents Sue and John and my son attended the screening party of the short film made by Gabi that has entered in few festivals. GabiGabrielWood is working in film industry as script supervisor since she was eighteen. Sue told and my son Ahsan as well that it’s pretty tough and demanding job because She has to be very careful about the continuity of the project. Isn’t it quite inspiring πŸ€—πŸ₯°πŸ‘

Sue took shot when Ahsan was recording Gabi talking to a director on stage. I am already feeling feeling very much inspired by Sue and John and how wonderfully they carry their life . Gabi indeed inherited this amazing talent to grow and groom  from her parents πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘Œ♥️ I truly feel proud of her πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯°♥️  she will be busy in creation of her new project in this month which is next season of Horrible Histories!

Heartfelt thank you to all for being with me dear friends and leaving such heartwarming comments on my precious postπŸ™

You guys are so generous and amazing πŸ₯ΉπŸ™πŸ₯°♥️
I feel blessed to have you all by my side πŸ₯ΉπŸ™
Sending heartfelt best wishes, lots of love and prayers πŸ™♥️♥️♥️
Stay Safe ,Stay Healthy πŸ™♥️

  1. Great younger generation there. I'm so sorry about the flood emergency. I believe the Indian side opened their dams and released water, which has resulted in this flooding downstream. Awful idea.

    1. Thank you dear Boud ! No doubt young people of today are focused on their future and how they can they can choose among numerous opportunities available for them !
This is a blessing indeed πŸ‘♥️
Yes India has released huge amount of water because they had to probably. It though seems a natural solution as water goes to its natural passage. What worrying is that our South Asia countries don’t have such heavy rains usually. Therefore infrastructure on any level was never designed to deal with such severe flooding. According to analysis we are having such heavy rains and flooding after three decades. But when look back I see that normal monsoon rainfall have been causing floods in various parts of the Pakistan. Unfortunately being under developing country Pakistan lacks resources to build strong infrastructure to secure the people from damage! Even now to fix the destruction our country relies on foreign help.
It’s really heartbreaking how people have to suffer and leave their homes. I know that people suffering from such difficulties have to wait for years to start living normal life 😞

We are away (25 to 29km) from river Indus but as reports have revealed water is in huge and intense quantity and rushing towards its banks uncontrollably. Let’s hope that things stay bit positive for everyone πŸ™

Gabi’s family is such a blessing to have heart of gold and to nurture their children so beautifully πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯°♥️♥️♥️
I totally agree that no matter how much we have achieved in modern times.when it comes to nature we are still as strings in ocean ☹️
Living in the homeland which is not capable to face nature’s wrath on even basic level makes it harder for everyone here 😞
Right now all people living anywhere close to the rivers are completely in danger honestly. And we are just waiting for next two days when maximum water water is going to cross, praying for all πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

  11. I always enjoy reading about your eldest and his lovely girlfriend. They are wonderful young people.

I saw a report on the flooding in Pakistan and instantly thought of you, Baili. Water, or lack of it as in Canada again this summer, has affected so many people.

Take care, dear Baili. You will be on my mind!

    1. Dear Marie you are so generous 😊

Yes such extreme situations tell us loudly that how crucial it is for us to keep balance in our lives on every level, lack or abundance of anything can be very dangerous.
It will take our country few years to recover from the damage flooding has caused to the people and properties and most importantly crops 😞

  12. Ah Baili - so sorry to read about the tremendous devastation of the floods in your part of the world. Our weather patterns do seem to be so much more extreme than they used to be...we are told in the scriptures that this would be happening as time grows close for the Savior's return. Our God is still sovereign and He is totally in control. I will be praying that the flooding will stop and no more destruction will continue. Hugs!

    1. Dear Debbie thanks for kind words !
I agree that such predictions exist in holy books. Our holy book also points out the same thing that when the end of the world is close such signs will indicate the closeness clearly. How nice that God speaks to all same things though via different people and scriptures and verses πŸ™‚
Heartfelt thanks for your prayers dear friend πŸ™♥️

  19. Hi, Baili! I'm really sorry about what your country is going through! I think Pakistan is one of the countries most impacted in the world by climate change. I feel helpless, especially with how our government is turning away from climate change science. I hope that we get on top of the changes. I worry about you and your family, as well as all the people impacted. Thanks for sharing the photos of Gabi and Ahsan. They are a beautiful couple. I have a niece who works with films in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Lisa has a regular job to support her creative pursuits. It's really hard to make a living in filmmaking, so kudos to Gabi for succeeding at it. Love to you and your loved ones! May Allah smile on you and your country! ❤️

  20. Dear Louise πŸ₯°
    Your kindness is unmatched πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯°♥️πŸ™
So true that climate change is huge and threatening issue for whole humanity living on the planet. All countries have to put side differences and must focus on solution for this problem seriously.
How amazing dear Louise that your niece is also in the field of film making. I have watched closely how intense the work is because when my younger sister was going to shoot for adds or drama show mom would ask me to be with her throughout her working day.even looking at the hard work of everyone from actors to peon I would feel dizzy πŸ™ƒ
My heartfelt best wishes for your niece, may she achieve everything she wants to in future amen πŸ™πŸ€ž♥️
Sending lots of love and hugs πŸ«‚♥️

  23. I am so late in commenting. My heart aches for all the people in your country that have been displaced by flooding. It seems disaster is striking in so many places. I'm happy that you are safe. Yes, Gabi seems to be a delightful young lady. She has a lot going for her and one is your son. That family photo of Gabi, her parents and your son looks very natural and happy.

  24. Baili, I hope that you and your family will be safe from any flooding, and it is so sad to learn about the flooding in many areas of Pakistan. Here, we are having the opposite of no or little rain. Thank you for sharing the photos of the happy couple and for sharing about Gabi’s success.

  25. wow, first off the floods. Crazy weather all over - Hope you are spared with having to evacuate and that its' in the past now. We have had so many fires break out in California. Luckily none of them affecting this area like we had last year. I feel for all those in the line of these increasing weather events. Next - what a cute photo of your son and Gabi - Sounds like she has quite a career going on and such nice parents ....her parents probably feel the same about you and your husband. Enjoyed reading this and see the photos.
