He must h...You have a wonderful eldest son, Baili. He must have been so worried about you and your husband and feeling frustrated because he is so far away from you. No wonder he felt angry: everything was out of his control and he loves you so much!

We're hearing too much conflicting Covid-19 news here. I'm listening to Dr. Anthony Fauchi who is the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). Right now, thanks to our president, Dr. Fauchi can't even speak on American tv. It's stunning to me.

All Terry and I can do is to stay isolated as much as possible and be very careful when we have to go out. It is very strange to wear a mask, as I am not used to having my face covered; but I am adjusting. I see so many people wearing masks improperly or touching and moving their masks and then touching other things in their environment. Sometimes I feel like it's hopeless and nothing I do will protect me from getting Coronavirus. But then I square my shoulders and keep on doing what I can to protect Terry and me. If I get it, so be it. I'm doing the best I can. I'm not afraid, but I am being prudent.

Sometimes we get dust storms here, Baili, and there is a plume of dust from Africa that hit the southeastern US a few days ago. Because we have our windows open so much, I am constantly dusting, but nothing like your sweeping up kilos of dust from your garden.

Feeling normal and well after being sick always makes the world look spectacular! Ordinary is a true gift that we too often take for granted. I thank God every day for the gift of another day of health for Terry and me. I don't fear infirmity or sickness. I fear losing Terry. My love to you and your family.Fundy Bluehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02132147630106183853noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4309826816742200785.post-84142443429628529152020-06-12T15:55:54.902-07:002020-06-12T15:55:54.902-07:00Oh no, Baili! I was surprised when you said you had suffered from typhoid previously. Of course, I looked it up and learned that it is treated with antibiotics. Glad to read that you were both diagnosed and treated and are now recovering. Certainly your oldest son's concern is understandable with the coronavirus still around. Take your time to recover your strength and your fellow bloggers understand and will be here when you feel strong enough to return more often. Health is far more important.Beatrice P. I understand about your son being worried about you but you have to do what you feel is right. I won't get tested because I don't have symptoms and all that talk in the past months about people being quarantined away from their house ...scared so many. Where we are in the mountains, there has only been one protest iin another little town a few miles away and it was peaceful. The media is scaring the heck out of people I think. Personally i feel the world is changing and I hope it's going to end up for the better - because in so many instances it has been a very unjust world for so many people and what they live day by day. So thankful that you were able to get a good diagnosis for your issues, and that you are getting better. It must be hard for your son to not be there to see and know for himself how you are doing. I don't have to deal with clouds of dust here, but we do get a lot of dust because we live on a gravel road, and I am forever dusting, especially in the summer months. Praying that you both continue to heal and that the dust storms ease up! The idea of being forced into a quarantine situation must have been so frightening...and that stress probably made your illness worse on you! I'm happy to hear that you are starting to feel better with the meds, I hope you continue to improve. How do you catch typhoid? I'm a bit ignorant about that. I am really glad it wasn't corona. We are still being very careful here, making sure we keep distance from people and also wear masks when we go out shopping. In fact, it's mandatory to wear a mask in any public building now here in New Brunswick - I'm okay with that though.

It's very windy here and dry. In one month, we only have had the last two days of a little rain. It's very different from where we used to live where there was rain a couple of days a week and lots of humidity. I don't mind it being dryer. Our road is a dirt road and when the wind blows, you can see the sand flying, but I'm sure nowhere near as bad as where you are!

Take care my friend! I hope your beautiful flowers are doing okay with the dry heat!
xxxRain https://www.blogger.com/profile/14377719049819222133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4309826816742200785.post-73572610439556433692020-06-07T04:15:20.752-07:002020-06-07T04:15:20.752-07:00Praying for you, Baili. 🌸Praying for you, Baili. 🌸Sandihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08702620069148109246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4309826816742200785.post-91772589336860261192020-06-07T00:47:15.257-07:002020-06-07T00:47:15.257-07:00postingan yang sangat bagus❤postingan yang sangat bagus❤Postinkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00528242875445190649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4309826816742200785.post-45593216801788072812020-06-06T22:16:59.379-07:002020-06-06T22:16:59.379-07:00Oh my goodness, what a frightening experience and ...Oh my goodness, what a frightening experience and all those things that have gone through your mind and your eldest worry about you - he sure does care how his parents are when he's not there to see for himself.
Well it's pleasing you found out what was wrong with the both of you and a speedy recovery from that.
What a job that dust must be to clean up, would get into everything I should image.
A few times a dust storm has come across the sea inside out house over 250 km, it amazing how that could happen especially with the sea in between, but it did...
Take care..and get well soon.

Margaret Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14074619859060647600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4309826816742200785.post-52704389721991199052020-06-06T20:24:16.452-07:002020-06-06T20:24:16.452-07:00I hope you and your husband will get better soon. ...I hope you and your husband will get better soon. I can barely even imagine how frightened you must have been and worried about your children. My daughter is a Registered Nurse, and her husband is a plumber, both jobs have risk of exposure to covid. I worry about our grandson and what will happen if both of them became extremely sick. I believe he would stay with my husband and I and also my husband's sister. I am concerned about our grandson returning to school in the Fall if Covid is still spreading. He is so good with the computer I think he would do well continuing his studies online, but he misses his friends and teachers very much.

I have health problems that would probably cause me to die from Covid 19 if I got it. My husband and I take a lot of precautions to try and stay safe from it.

Our weather here in Missouri, USA has been a little strange this year. It was colder than normal in May and then suddenly it is very hot in the mid 90's degree Fahrenheit. We have had quite a lot of rain in our state this spring, so it is not dusty. We live about 20 minutes away (by car) from the Mississippi River in one direction, and the Missouri River in the other direction. Most years we are not too dry. The area where I live is too far away from the rivers to flood.

My neighborhood has houses and yards with grass, so there is not too much dust. It has gotten hotter in my state in the past several years, and I notice that some trees and flowers that used to grow well here are dying.

Take care. I hope you and your husband will feel better each day. You and your family will be in my thoughts.

Susie D.susie @ persimmon moon cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01653330247272673990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4309826816742200785.post-75351395145432737602020-06-06T17:28:05.815-07:002020-06-06T17:28:05.815-07:00Other illnesses when covid is around can be very s...Other illnesses when covid is around can be very stressful .
