Happy Mother’s Day !

When we observe the nature and universe we see two kinds of behaviour dominant in every creation. We humans have named both according to our understanding of them . We call constructive side of the nature  God or Love . Nothing is possible without God or love because everything our eyes can see is result of its consistent and nonstop creativity. We can’t see God or love but we can feel it’s presence in everything that we find existing around us. Everything that tends to take shape, adjusts itself to harmonise with others in order to form something meaningful reflects that Creative Force behind it God or Love!

In my life I often contemplated on how God or Love are present in our life. I remember when this thought came to my mind I was looking at my mother’s face . A face around which my being seemed to rotate ,  A face that had worries all about us  and how well we were taken care of.

That was very cold day of the last week of November. We ran out of woods for the clay stove . The rain had just stopped. My mother wanted to take advantage of this break so She got out of the room and climbed up the nim tree standing in our front yard. It wasn’t safe to climb on wet tree and she knew that. But she chose to climb up because her children needed heat to survive severe cold of northern Pakistan. That day I could not resist staring at her face . In those moment I realised how our lives were completely dependent on our mother for survival. And that how fortunate we were that she was a strong woman with super natural powers almost. When mom was cutting branches of nimtree that had lost its leaves already ,I stood below the tree ,afraid of the thought what if she falls down. That worry drained my energy until I heard my mother saying “ ok we got woods enough for one to two weeks now”  she threw her ex on the ground away from me and started to get down slowly. It was unique day for me because I had seen my mother climbing on tree for the first time!

When we picked up wood and came to room my mind stayed in awe of what happened there that day. My mother had arranged wood despite she had fever and flu !

That night my eyes shed few tears on my pillow,I was sad ,I was happy, I was grateful and proud at the same time. I couldn’t sleep until I got up , picked up my notebook and wrote a poem in honour of my dear mother 🥹♥️

This was first time when I realised how God shows his love to his people. And I realised that most powerful proof of his love is a mother! She construct and create us within and then with her partner she look after us and provide us. She is true reflection of God and Love ! Because her children are her first priority no matter what.

Hats off to all the amazing beautiful mothers out there 🥹🙏♥️

This was taken by hubby’s eldest brother on my engagement day,my mother was suffering with tuberculosis at that time and was under treatment, her fear of loosing her life made her decide to get me married in case she didn’t survive. I have received an appointment letter of government school teacher after a week hardly, but mom was worried about the unjust behaviour of my brother and his wife so she didn’t let me join job . My job was our common dream that she sacrificed over my safety and self respect!

Happy Mother’s Day To You ♥️

Thank you for being with me till the end dear friends!

May God keep you safe and blessed always 🙏♥️

  1. Dear Baili, Happy Mother's Day to you, dear friend! Your photo is so beautiful! Tuberculosis is a terrible thing that has taken the lives of many people. I only found out in the last three years that my maternal grandfather died of Tuberculosis as I was doing family searches. A cousin told me. My mother never told me about this.
You are such a lovely person, your beautiful personality shines through your posts and your kind comments on my blog.

My mother got tuberculosis when she was going through very intense circumstances specially with her only son and his wife. With grace of God my mother recovered within an year thankfully 🙏
My elder brother had died at the age of 13 by tuberculosis in 1975-6 before my mother got sick with this. She lived more than twenty years after recovering from this disease.
Sorry for your grandfather dear friend! Even people get vaccination of this disease still few cases appear here and there once in a while sadly.
Best wishes to you and yours ♥️🙏

You have been such a great support and inspiration throughout the blogging journey. When eldest son mentioned that there is Mother’s Day on Sunday in London I didn’t know it’s different than actual Mother’s Day we celebrate . In Ramadan I miss my mother more every year and I wrote this quick post to feel her presence. Now I know that actual Mother’s Day is in May 😇
I have started yearly cleaning of the house like mom would do before Eid every year ☺️ it’s nice to follow her tradition physically and feeling with her at heart 🥰

      Thanks again sweet friend 🙏♥️

  14. Dear Marie as I said I feel closer to my mother during Ramadan month, last week particularly when mom would buy us Eid clothes and shoes along with few girlish accessories. Eid as a yearly festival held greater significance back then, far more than these days when internet has stolen away people’s attention completely from flavour natural daily life. Eid would bring so much excitement to growing kids , our Eid shopping used to be a big celebration and when we would have it at home, even looking at those things would bring us huge pleasure. Mom would bring Hinna and three of us would apply Hinna on hands
These treasures of memories make such Mother’s Day special 🥰

  16. What an incredible story of courage, perseverance and love of a mother. It is God's most beautiful gift to us all, the gift of motherhood! Both a blessing, to be a mother, and to have a mother. Your incredible story of your mother's strength in her own weakness and fear with the need to provide was so special to read. Your tears that night, and your poem speak to the special heart you have too! Such a beautiful picture of you and your mother! Happy Mother's Day to you too, Baili! Your heart is beautiful and precious!

  17. Dear Marilyn, thank you for your heartfelt words !♥️

I have felt truly moved by love and strength of a mother, I have shared this particular incident twice in my long time ago posts but want to repeat it today as even though it happened decades ago it’s still existing in my mind as powerfully as it happened while ago , there was tradition in my village to keep dogs for the guard purpose. Some people would cut off their ears in order to make them more aggressive. One among them was known for biting many people who sometimes encountered him,
We had lots of chickens and once when one chicken was returning home with her chicks before sunset that crazy dog passed by the hen and her chicks . The house door was opened because we were expecting chickens back, it was the time when this incident happened,as dog crossed by and chicks felt bothered, hen jumped high and sit straightaway on the head of crazy dog , both were shouting and dog ran towards his house but as little girl I chased them excitedly I saw hen didn’t got down from dog’s head until he reached home . Then hen started to run Bach to home quaking loudly “ I wish that video would have earned millions views if someone had cell phone back then and have filmed the whole event. So there is no match for the love of the mother who protects a vulnerable baby , feeds him and nurtures him with love that is larger than her own self 🥹
I agree that having mother is a priceless blessing and being mother is priceless gift for a woman, both complete her existence in different ways, first roots love in het and second turn it into a vast never ending shady tree 🥰
